These are a great shoe alternative to classic Chucks. They do fit a little more snug than the original but the added insole adds so much comfort. I do wish the style was a little more true to the original with the black striping, but otherwise I am very happy with these.

My husband loves converse, can never go wrong. Usually order 1/2 size down from normal size.

With the new chucks the size is true unless you have size feet then you need to order a half size up for some room. My husband loves them!?

I've had these shoes for almost a year and I wear them almost everyday. The quality is great and they hold up very well. Only problem is that it's hard to clean the canvas but that's expected. Definitely buying another pair soon.

Bought them as a Gift for my brother,he loved them,he's crazy about converse.he says they're very comfortable.

Great classic look with the added benefit of a nice soft sole and elastic which holds the tongue in place. I really like that the tongue stays in place all day long. My feet aren't totally wide width, but a little wider than normal, and it took a day to stretch out the shoes to fit nicely. Just loosen those laces a bit to where it feels best to you.

Great shoe. Better comfort than original chuck. Would recommend gettin a half size bigger than the original chuck size

I could never wear the original Converse because they actually kill the bottom of my foot,the hard inside of shoe so horribly painful couldn't even get out of a store with them on! The insoles in these All star 2's are wonderful, squishy and truly comfortable. I don't wear them for a hiking day but for a day of shopping or meeting friends they do the trick nicely. These I buy in a mens 5 for a fit of a 7-7 1/2 ladies but if you go one half size up the shoe is enormous, must be a full size different. I only have the ladies Converse padded collar ones to compare with size wise and in those I take a 7 1/2 to have room for a thin half insole for plantar fasciaitis to cushion the bottom.The tongue in these shoes is held down with an elastic strap on each side so your foot doesn't slip up and down in the back. NO rubbed raw back of foot traumatic blister injury that's 2 inches deep from these! I use nice smelling freshening insoles to help them last longer.

I'm a big boy with a big foot!! Size 14...was kind of worried they wouldn't fit...they're perfect!! I love them...get yourself a pair!! I will by them again!!

I bought these as part of a Halloween costume to be Gene Belcher from Bob's Burgers. They worked out great and matched what he wears on the show perfectly after I swapped in some black laces (make sure to go for 60"). I really like the way the shoes look and plan to continue to wear them. I did notice a little bit of red bleeding on to the white socks I wore after I took them off for the day. Comfort was good enough and the color matched exactly what showed throughout the ordering process.

These new II's were such a comfortable surprise. I was unaware that they had revamped the soles and they are so comfy now. Style is great and I'm getting complements everywhere I go on them. Will defintely be getting a pair in blue as well.

My husband loves these shoes. The updated footbed makes them more comfortable than the original Chuck's. Look great with jeans, joggers, khaki's, sweats - really versatile.

I usually wear a 6.5 in other Converse All Stars, but had to get a 7 in these. Love the new insoles and they look more refined than the normal Converse All Stars.

I've owned multiple pairs of converse and these are definitely the most comfortable I've ever had. If you're a converse fan I highly recommend these.

I work as a server which requires us to wear chuck Taylor's. This shoe is super supportive, especially when wearing them for 12 hours a day. At first they were a little uncomfortable to break in, but after that they fit perfectly.

Converse got it right with the new style, comfort, and materials! The "glue" on the white shoes start to show around the rubber after normal wear. Shoes still look good, jsut not as white as new.

As a basketball-playing, Celtic-loving younger man, I (literally) wore through millions (less literally, but, really LOTS) of pairs of "LBC's" (low, black Cons, but never referred to as such - they were LBC's). Bought a pair as an older, basketball-watching man, and - OOWWW! Painful on an old man's feet. This pair, however - the Model II - was delightful!! Very comfortable! The cushioning is subtle but very effective, the gussets seem to aid in arch support ... all-in-all, very satisfied with these. As to "style" - you either like them or you don't. I do. As remains so with the Celtics, too. (Two little things of note: (1) these new LBC's are identified as "Black / White / Navy" in color. relax about the "navy" part - it's just in reference to the heel label; (2) upon opening the box, I thought there was something "off." Took a while to realize they were laced with non-traditional black laces. Took a while longer to notice that the very traditional white laces were in the box. Five minute later, all was "on," and I was repping Bill Russell once again ...)
