This shoe is so uncomfortable. They kill my feet!!

This is a cute shoe but unfortunately doesn't work well for wider feet. I wish it came in wide sizes! When I tried ordering up a half size, the shoe was too long but still too narrow.

I have been wearing Chucks for years and always wear a size 8/6(in men's), however these shoes were uncomfortably tight. I wore them around the house for 10 minutes and realized that i would not be able to keep them, so they're being sent back. Maybe it's the extra support cushioning, however overall these shoes were quite uncomfortable.

Can I say how cute these are but, they did forget to adjust sizing to accommodate for the wonderful insoles, going back so sad.

Fell apart in 6 months. I have never had a shoe wear out as fast as these have. The sole of the shoe has detached. The only thing I did with these shoes was walk in them. A pair of Converse should not wear out this fast.

These felt tight in the toe box to me. I remember Chucks being a little wider in the toes. And they had a spot that rubbed on the side of my big toe. They fit fine as it was, but I wear orthotics and there was no room for them. I think I would probably need a wider width. Looked great, though, and if I didn't have the orthotics, they felt pretty good.

Not worth the extra money - I was hoping with the Nike insole that it would make a difference. It really didn't. It also seems that the canvas is stiffer and made for an uncomfortable day along with the fact that these bleed all over my socks. I will be returning these.

Nice at first, but they started falling apart about 3 months in. I have 3 pair and they're all coming apart.

I really wanted to love these. I have many pairs of the original Chucks. And while the arch support is great, and the same-color eyelets are wonderful, I ordered them in my regular size, put them on and ran out the door - way too big. Now I am stuck with a pair that are simply to big for my feet.

I read all the reviews saying do not go a size down like the old chucks it woke be needed well I followed the advice and I'm now in the process of returning the shoe for being too big I am very upset about this the shoe is beautiful and is well worth the price mark up but they fit just like the old chucks!

Aesthetically, I love these shoes but comfort left much to be desired. This was my first time buying a pair of Chucks and I only bought them because these were supposed to have an insole with arch support. Size-wise, I had to exchange them and go a half size larger even though this style supposedly runs true to size. I wore these shoes out for one day and before I could get home my feet were hurting so bad I was tempted to take them off and walked home in my socks. That's how bad these hurt my feet. No arch support and they rubbed the sides of my baby toes like crazy. Since I'd worn them outside I couldn't return them so I ended up giving them away. I really wanted to like these shoes, as I've always wanted a pair of Chucks but these just aren't for me.

Bought a red and blue pair, both in size 6.5 as my regular chuck was size 6.5 These are much tighter. The blue was bigger fit than the red. Red was too tight. No quality control. Returning both. Will order a red in size 7 and see how it fits. More cushion than the regular Chuck so will have to walk around to see if it feels good.

I've been a fan of Converse All Stars for as long as I remember -- my first pair was a pair of red high-tops with a picture of Alf stitched onto the side (30+ years ago)! When I purchased the Converse II, I assumed the new & improved shoes would be even better. Unfortunately, they are extremely uncomfortable (even after daily use to break in the material) and I can't walk more than a few blocks or so without developing a pain on my big toes (length is fine). The thicker padding adds to a tighter fit and can sometimes make a sound after wearing for a few hours (sorta like squishing sound). However, the canvas is definitely a higher quality material than the original & the padding is thicker so these shoes are better when you're walking around on a snowy sidewalk (original ones - you feel like your feet are going to freeze right off!).

I was really excited to get a pair of these, as I've always wanted to wear chucks but alas with my high arch and bad knees, they offer no support and also fit very narrow. The shoe is advertised as having more arch support than the average chuck but feels so flat that after wearing these shoes for under a half hour, my right arch was ACHING. I've never even had that happen to me before!!!Walked right back home, took the shoes off, and noticed the substansial amount of white rubber peeling off from the toe and heel.The ALL STAR stamp on the heel was already scuffed, with the paint looking worn. How does this happen in a few minutes of walking normally on a sidewalk? Just overall really disappointed in converse and kind of sad that I'll never be able to wear a shoe in this style.

Love the look of the shoe. It fits fine on my left foot. However, the shoe for the right foot is cut wrong and is much too small across the toe box. Not a problem I have with buying shoes. Quality control with the manufacturer. Disappointed. Not Zappos fault at all. Love Zappos speedy delivery and customer service.
