It was a gift to my daughter who is off to college in the northeast. She will need it walking around campus.

It's a great raincoat for New England where the weather is unpredictable. Great overall jacket!

I've worn this jacket several times now, and I love it! Michigan can have very unpredictable spring weather, and this has been great for it. I've mostly worn it for walking around town. It has been through light snow, rain, and wind and it has kept me warm and dry. I even got a few comments from my friends that they like the style. The only con is that the zipper gets stuck at the bottom every now and then.

Love this for day to day winter weather, zipper is alittle stubborn at times.

Loved the jacket but had to return it as it was too snug around my hips.

I love how warm it is especially for how lightweight.

Love the warm of this jacket ... not just a rain coat; keeps you warm too. I always have problems with double zippers ... this jacket is no exception... sometimes it's frustrating to get the zipper started.

I bought it for my gf, she loves it! We own lots of north face products, everything from north face is of the best quality, I did notice on this jacket, the zippers could be better. Other than that, it's perfect!
One thing I wasn't happy with is that north face does not do price match, a week after I bought this jacket I found it at a different store for about $60 less, so I called north face asking for a price match, specially since I'm a frequent customer. No price match...

I love this coat and I wear it every day. However, I wish the product was a little bit longer.

This jacket is great. I purchased it to wear to and from work as I walk quite a distance and to wear while I watch rugby matches outside. It keeps me warm and dry from the rain and wind. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it runs a bit small. I would recommend going up a size especially if you want to layer and the zipper tends to stick. Otherwise I am very happy with it.

Bought this coat for my college aged daughter and she really liked it but we exchanged for a different North Face that was a little longer - she is over 5'8" and wanted a little more length for coverage. Coat looked great on her - nice cut.

I love this jacket and it's perfect for what I needed it for. It keeps me dry and warm when the weather is wet! My only complaint is the zipper can be difficult to pull up at times. I would recommend this jacket for anyone that lives where it rains a lot and the temps are cooler.

The coat itself is terrific! Order up one size for room to fit a sweater underneath though. I was VERY UNHAPPY with the Simply Taupe color. On line, it is depicted as almost a pearlish/white color. IT IS NOT. It is a light khaki color which was not what I was looking for. Very dull looking. Going back just for this

This was a lighter weight jacket than I wanted plus I didn’t care for boxy cut on me.

Much bulky than it appeared online. Also the material was not as thick or of high quality as it looked online.

It's a cute jacket. Maybe good in a city when you are in and out of cars or buildings. Not warm enough for winter on the Oregon Coast. If you like a looser fitting jacket, with room for a sweater then order a size larger than you usually do. The sleeves are not long enough for cold wet weather.

Will probably keep you warm, but style is not very flattering (and zipper is difficult to work).

The Ancha is a well-made coat, good for cold, rainy days. It has good features such as water-repellent fabric, warm lining, zipper pockets including a commuter pocket in the sleeve for your transit pass. However, the fit is a bit odd. It is rather snug around the waist/hips area. I'm fairly petite with a boyish shape and still found it a bit too snug. If you sized up, it would be to big everywhere else. The sleeves are also very long, about 2 inches too long for me. I have to tuck them up. It's a very serviceable coat that can be worn even in colder weather, but I wish it fit better. I think the fit makes it look not very stylish. I also wish it was a little longer.

It's really hard to find an insulated rain coat that somewhat stylish. I tried to make this work but there were enough things about it that bugged me so back it went. If you're short and pear shaped this might not work for you either. It comes down longer on me than the model and would have to be unzipped every time I sat down. The sleeves are really, really long. Long enough that they needed to be hemmed. I think a small would've fit my upper torso better but then I'd never be able to zip it over my hips! It's moderately stylish and well made though.

Lightweight but still warm and waterproof. Was a nice jacket until the zipper broke on the second day of use.

This coat checks all the boxes needed for a cold, rainy Seattle winter. Sadly, I'll be returning it because the zipper sticks.

I really was hoping that this jacket would work for me, but being large busted and high waisted (but not plus size) pretty much precludes me from wearing most TNF coats and jackets. I am an active senior so I tried a 3 in 1 and the Ancha parka but had to return both. Ended up with the Tomales Bay jacket and the thermolball jacket both in XL. Not everyone who wants a TNF jacket or coat is a skier so please make some of your jackets with a looser fit.
