Wow! I love this coat! As usual, North Face did not disappoint. Honestly, I had second thoughts after I submitted the order. The coat didn't look very flattering in the pictures. It's actually a lot nicer in person with a streamlined, flattering fit. Not bulky. It's the perfect coat for late fall/early winter days when you don't need a huge down parka, but you need something insulated to keep you toasty. I've been wearing it every day since I received it and it's been perfect in temps from the 30s to the 50s. I'm 5'8", 36B, 140 pounds, and the size medium is a perfect fit. I can fit a sweater underneath.

This parka is very attractive with its clean lines, longer-than-average length for a parka and arms long enough for my 5' 9" frame. However, the size large was noticeably snug around the waist and was not flattering to my slightly-overweight figure. Will have to go back.

This is an absolutely phenomenal coat! The lining is warm without being bulky and still allows me to wear a big sweater on those extra cold days. The exterior is wind and rain resistant, perfect for fall and spring weather! Looking forward to extended use of this durable coat.

I was looking for a jacket that is waterproof, windproof and keeps me warm without the bulk while being a little longer in length. And this was it! It's a great jacket for the (rare) cold days in So Cal. It's got a clean sporty and casual look that can be worn with just about anything. The only negative issue for me was the length in the arms which could have been a little longer as I'm 5'11" with long arms.

I'm a size 10-12 and bought the large. I hesitated between a lighter taupe shade or the taupe green and settled for the taupe green only because I was worried about dirt showing up on the lighter shade. I wore it in Japan on a 10 day trip in March. It was perfect. There weather was in the 50s and 60s. It was roomy enough to wear layers if needed. I liked the removal cap (no rain expected) and the collar looked finished without it. I liked the transit pass pocket in the right sleeve. There is a lot of train/subway movement in Tokyo. I was able to put my transit pass in the sleeve pocket and not ever think about it. I liked the flat front look while having shape in the back with the internal drawstrings. Would definitely recommend as a Spring/Fall accessory!

I really like this coat, I'm surprised by the other reviews. I wanted a well-fitted raincoat and found it! I love the thermal insulation. It's warm, but also not bulky. I like the length for more coverage on rainy days and the hood fits very well too. Great quality. I'm typically a medium in tops, but the medium in black I originally ordered was a bit too snug around the waist/hips and in the arms. I liked the black, but I returned it for a large in the taupe and it fits much better/I like the color. Would recommend!

This is my favorite winter coat ever! I got it in the end of spring 2016 and have used it two winters in a row so far! Every year I look forward to wearing it because it is just long enough to have good coverage but not so much where it makes me look like a hobbit, which is easy to do with parkas since I am 5'2". It is stylish and has a slim fit, but the inner insulation is flexible enough to allow layers. It is very warm in Iowa winters and waterproof which is a must. I love how the inside is insulated and the outside is flat so you don't look like a marshmallow. It also has really great roomy and convenient pockets!!! Im so glad they are still selling it because I will always want one in my life! 10/10!

I love this jacket. It is light and very comfortable. I cannot wait to wear it on our trip to Ireland in Sept.

In preparation for a May trip to Scotland, I bought and returned many jackets. This is the one I ended up choosing and I am so glad I did! A friend traveling with me bought the same jacket as well. We both absolutely loved it. It was the perfect jacket for cool weather (mid 40's to lower 60's), strong winds, and rain showers. Just pull on the hood and go! We are both 5 foot 9-ish and 130/140 lbs- medium was perfect.

Great Michigan spring/fall rain jacket to provide warmth. Wear 12-14 and the XL in this is a tad large, even in the hips, which is unusual for me. I am ok with the extra room so I can layer beneath if desired. Comfortable as is. Like the longer length to help keep bottom dry. Have worn it 4 times so far and works well.

Hate the color. The color looked white in photo, but was actually beige. North Face runs small. The extra large was comfortable though, wished it was white.

This is a very nice jacket. I ordered it in a large, although all my regular clothes are size medium as I do not want to feel uncomfortable in a jacket or a coat. This jacket fits very tight and I would not be able to wear an extra sweater underneath. I bought this item for when I visit colder climates For this reason, I must return it.

I am 5'3", 104 lbs. I wear an XS and this coat was no exception. I also ordered a S to compare sizes and the sleeves swallowed my hands. I was afraid the XS would be too tight in the armpits, but it has not been restrictive, even layered over sweaters. I was shopping for a coat that would hit mid thigh, be warm enough for Kansas winters (mostly mild, but can get well below 0), waterproof, machine washable, and wipeable (I have young kids and I seem to attract food and snot smears). My previous coat was a wool pea coat and was warm enough, but not easy to clean. This Ancha Parka has exceeded my expectations. It was my first TNF purchase and I was able to snag one on a great sale. I have been sold on TNF ever since. The zippers have held up, it is great in the rain, keeps me warm, hood is a great size, etc. I bet I have washed it 10 times this winter (hang to dry) and it looks brand new still. I have no complaints!!!

I was looking for a heavier-duty rain jacket that was more than just a shell for an upcoming trip to London where my down parka just isn't going to cut it! Tried several different jackets of a similar nature before settling on this one. I love the fitted style, with drawstrings at the waist that can accommodate different thickness layering. I also love the fact that it covers my butt - very important in a rain coat! My one complaint would be that it's a bit stiff, and, when it's zipped up all the way, the material is a bit rough against my chin (my other North Face coat has a strip of softer fabric for comfort at the top of the zipper). However, overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Great Parka, casual wear. The only con sleeve is too long.

In bought and returned about 5 different jackets from various brands before I kept this one. It is great. I thought it maybe a bit too lean in the hips, but it fits like a glove. The down is just enough to keep me warm, but light enough to wear when it's not freezing outside. I live in Napa and needed something that allowed me to be outside in rainy / cold weather. I am 5'11 and the sleeves are just long enough. I LOVE this jacket. LOVE.

I bought this jacket because of the classic style, hood, and longer length. I am 5"4' and 133 pounds. I purchased a medium. The jacket is definitely more fitted than I am used to, but I like the style and it fit nicely. The fabric is nice quality I like the roomy hood that covers my entire head. I have long arms and the sleeves are a good length and not too short

I am so happy I found this coat! I purchased the black so I can wear it everyday with anything and it looks stylish. I am 5'9"/160lbs and would typically wear a medium. However, because this jacket is a heavier weight and I'll be wearing it on colder days, I purchased the large. The fit is comfortable and somewhat fitted, but doesn't look huge like a lot of the winter coat's I've seen. I've only had this coat for a month and have gotten a ton of use from it. Two negatives that haven't been a deal breaker are that the zipper get's stuck once in awhile and the hood doesn't cover my face as well as I would like if it's pouring rain. But again, I love this jacket and am very happy with the purchase. .

This gift was enthusiastically received to my delight. It fits perfectly. Has all the qualities of what it was priced at. Our experience with North face is that their products last and stand up to daily use. It is definitely a keeper.
