I bought this as a gift for my daughter who lives in Seattle but travels to see us in E. WA. She reports it will perform well for both climates. The size XS fit her well, she is 5'4, and about 100 pounds. It looks great and is comfortable and functional.

PERFECT jacket! It is a great length, durable, waterproof, thin lining and flattering.

I received this jacket just before a huge wind/rain storm. It fit perfectly and kept me warm and dry.

exactly what I was looking for in a fall jacket: waterproof, warm, stylish, covers my butt, and a reasonable price. I'd say that it runs a bit small, I'm 5'8 150 lbs, usually a medium (which is what I ordered) and it's a bit more snug than I would've expected. love it though, can still layer it over a sweater! definitely recommend for fall in the northeast!

Exactly what I was looking for—love it! I wanted a longish parka that would be versatile, i.e., casual, but also something I could wear to work without looking like I'm headed to the slopes. This fits the bill perfectly. The lines are lovely, sleek, minimal, and functional (love the metro card slot). The lining is toasty but not too. It will work in early fall with a tee, and later in the year with a sweater. I bought a medium, though all of my other TNF is small (5-8, 129). The fit is perfect. I would not want it any smaller. And thank you, TNF, for the nice, long sleeves! It is a tad noisy, but only when you're putting it on. The material is actually lovely—with a sort of super-subtle weave that gives it a slightly dressier feel. Waterproof, windproof. Love it!

This jacket is warm and moveable without making me look like a huge puff ball. I've bought jackets from Colombia in the past and I don't like how puffy they are.

Go one size up, and try the zipper before buying! But otherwise this is a flattering and functional warm and waterproof coat. Two of the jackets I tried in the store had zippers that stuck, but the one I took home was just fine. The green is unusual, but allows this jacket to work as a commuter coat, too. I'd love to see this made in a longer length.

I walk my dogs no matter the weather here in NJ. This jacket covers those wet, chilly days perfectly. Trim fit, great color, nice warm neck and a generous hood, along with useful pockets make this an all around working jacket.

The parka is unsurpassed in quality and fit. Its material is a remarkable combination of strength and flexibility making it easy to be active and comfortable in wet weather conditions. I am so glad that I ordered this parka that you want to sleep in it !!!

I have the tri-climate jacket and was looking for something a little less bulky and a little longer to wear when it rains. This jacket was exactly what I was looking for. I was surprised that it seems to run a little smaller than the tri-climate jacket. I'm a small in the tri-climate jacket so I ordered a small in this jacket but had to exchange it for a medium.

I love this coat. The fit is great but i had to go a size up as I am thin and like to wear a jacket(hoodie) underneath my coat for added warmth. I have absolutely no complaints. Getting in andout the car is easy, coat does not restrict my movements. and being able to pull the zipper up from the bottom is the greatest.

I bought this jacket for my wife. She normally wears a medium, however I bought a large due to the sizing categories offered on this site for the waist area. She is petite woman, so buying a large made the sleeves long for her but the mid section is a more comfortable fit with a large. This jacket is very warm for and comfortable for her.

A stylish and practical garment. Have bought 3 now for myself and family

Unfortunately it did not fit me and so I had to exchange for another style because the store I went too did not have my size, BUT I am going re purchase this jacket when the weather gets a little warmer.

I am someone who runs "hot" all the time in winter jackets. I purchased this coat for me to wear in winter weather here in Michigan. Although it is listed as a "Spring weather" coat, the quilted lining keeps me comfortably warm, without the excess weight and bulk of most winter jackets.
