I ordered a size 8, which is the size I normally take. The sandal fits great and is very comfortable. I wore them for the first time walking all around Chicago for a day--no problems! I like how versatile the style is with the metallic look--dressy or casual.

Great sandal as an alternative to another sandal I had been wearing from another company. These I like more and my foot feels very stable in these. They are very comfortable.

LOVE these sandals! I wear a size 8 and purchased a size 8 and they fit perfectly. Unlike other sandals, these have support and are very comfortable. I've already worn them several times.

Based on positive reviews, I purchased these sandals for a vacation in which I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking. I wanted something cute & comfortable. I found these sandals to be true to size and they were comfortable right away. After wearing them several days (and a great deal of walking) I did have some mild rubbing on the right sandal near the buckle. I'm not sure why? But the problem didn't last. These sandals are very comfortable and a great option if you are searching for that ever elusive "cute and comfortable" combination. I would definitely recommend this sandal and this brand.. And of course Zappos!

Shoe was as described/reviewed. It's a perfect every day shoe. I bought the brown pair and went back and bought the black pair for traveling this summer in Europe. My feet often tend to be sore in any shoe, but not so bad with these! Very happy with my purchase.

By far one of my favorite sandals. Admittedly I am very much a Birkenstock and Kork-ease kind of gal. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are for the price point and the quality of the leather.

I have a narrow 8.5 foot but I have size 9 Olukai flip-flops that I wear all the time. I saw the Upenas and ordered both an 8 and 9 based on the reviews. The 8 fit better as my foot felt more secure in the straps while in the 9 my foot seemed to be slipping around. My feet cover the sole of the 8 without any extra room and I usually like a little extra room, but sometimes that happens when there are no half sizes available. Initially, I felt the arch support was minimal but after wearing them for a couple of weeks, it seems as if the shoe has molded to my foot and I can't believe how comfortable they are. I just ordered a second pair. I love that these sandals look great with everything from skirts to jeans, casual to dressy. I have the pewter and just ordered both the bronze and the mustard/bubbly. Now to decide between those two....

I've been wearing OluKai flipflops for years; love the support and comfort, and the Upena is no different. I purchased these for my 22 yo daughter who wanted an everyday "dressy" sandal. I think they are VERY casual, but she is happy with the look, and likes them with shorts and jeans. The leather is soft and comfortable; the sizing is a little generous (she wears 10 1/2, but the 10 fit perfectly).

Very cute strappy sandal, with the comfort of a flip flop!!! I have been a fan of Olukai flip flops for years, and decided to branch out to a more structured sandal. The sandals look great on and can be dressed up or down - perfect for the office. I was able to "wear in" the upper leather straps in a couple hours, with minimal rubbing on my toes. I didn't experience any squeaking with my first wears, as is typical with Olukai's flip flops. Overall, I'm very happy with the sandal and will very likely be ordering additional colors.

Does buying a second pair indicate how much you like a shoe? Yes! I love the style and comfort A LOT!! So much so, I did indeed buy a second pair!

These sandals are fantastic. I have a pair of Olukai flipflops which are very comfortable and wanted something with a back strap. These are perfect. Great fit and look.

I have such a hard time finding shoes that don't cause my feet to hurt or feel tired after a days wearing while shopping or chasing kids. I wish I could wear them them at work. I have found a new favorite. Getting another color for sure.

Wow! I just received these today as a replacement for a pair of bad quality Born sandals. I'm so glad I ordered these. They are so comfortable and stylish. I'm actually going to order another pair in a different color. I believe they fit very true to size and are perfect for my narrow foot. I'm actually quite happy that my other sandals broke as I would not have found these.

I am exceptionally happy with my purchase of these shoes and I can honestly say they are SUPER comfortable!

These sandals are cute and supportive. I love all OluKai flip flops because they have great arch support and on trend styling. The first pair of these sandals that I received had one stretched out shoe, but Zappos had great service and a replacement pair came within two days. I finally wore them yesterday for the first time. I was afraid that the leather between my twos might rub, but it didn't. I did have to wear the buckle on the tightest hole because I have long narrow feet (8AA). Sometimes sandals don't fit because they do't have adjustable straps near the toes, but these didn't need it. These are great sandals for traveling because they will match practically everything and can dress up or dress down. I got the pewter color because it is so neutral.

This was my 6th pair of OluKais and I was pleased as always. OluKai never disappoints.

These sandals are very cute on- they are not bulky at all and very comfortable out of the box. I love them. I usually wear a 5 1/2 but ordered a 5 and they fit perfectly. Looking forward to wearing them all summer!

Bought these for my younger daughter for Myrtle Beach. She wore them everywhere. They are so comfortable. She had trouble finding the right sandal, I did the search for her. I am familiar with OluKai and have owned a few, and still do. Great footwear for the summer, beach, everyday, anywhere you choose.

I love this brand. They are really comfortable. I have issues with plantar faciatis and I can wear these all day without my feet hurting.

My husband has always talked about putting on new shoes and having no discomfort at all. I haven't had that pleasure in many, many years until I tried on the oluKai Upena. I have been on the beach for a week and this shoe can take me out to a nice dinner, or allow a 2-mile walk on the beach with utmost comfort! First time I haven't had to wear some sort of orthotic insole in over 10 years.

what i thought was a impulse splurge has turned into a weekly staple for me! I bought these last summer and loved them. Looking forward to pulling them out now that it's sandal season again. Wore all day walking during a few vacations as well as during regular daily routines. Have the charcoal/pewter color and it goes with everything!

This is a cute, comfortable sandal with great arch support. I have a narrow foot and the toe strap fits my foot perfectly.

Discovered OluKai at a shop while vacationing. I had given up flip flops because of frequent foot pain from plantar fasciitis and needing arch support. When I tried this brand I heard angels singing. Plus, I love their styles. The store I visited didn't carry my size (size 11). So, I opened up my trusty Zappos app and, bam! They carry Olukai! This is why I continue to love Zappos. I had difficulty choosing the style I wanted first, but eventually decided to start with the Upena in Kona coffee. I love the raw edges of the leather and the rich brown color. I look forward to wearing these with dresses, skirts, and jeans. The sole was cushioned and seemed to conform to my foot. I look forward to seeing how my feet feel after a day on my feet as a teachers. If u haven't given this brand a try, go for it. It's my new favorite. Keep the styles coming Zappos.
