This shoe felt different than many other Salomon shoes I tried, but not any better. This one made me feel like I was walking on the outsides of my feet offering zero arch support. Style was OK.

Ever since I discovered this brand, I've been buying Salomon from Zappos as my multi-sport shoe -- maybe 10 years. I just love 'em. But this product disappointed multiple times. I've been buying 7.5 size for years, but this one didn't fit. Thanks to Zappos' excellent service, I got a 7 and am returning the 7.5. Even the smaller shoe feels strange on my foot -- I'm hoping they'll settle a bit as I break it in more. Maybe that's why this product is on aggressive sale. The colors are horrendous, but I knew that before I ordered. Don't worry -- my next shoe will be a Salomon from Zappos too!

Returned due to a bit snug feeling all over and while wearing, right foot seemed to fall toward the left side and left foot seemed to fall toward the right side due to type of cushioning on outer side of foot. It would also be nice to not have the big toe directly under the mesh. Extra and different kind of material there would be better.

I've owned several pairs of the XA Pro 3D V8 trail shoe, but needed a street shoe and this was recommended by a rep at Salamon. Unfortunately, while the sole and arch of this style is just supportive and durable, the upper feels too soft and the tongues slip to the side when wearing -- SO irritating! Also, the left lace continually loosens during wear -- again, SO irritating! I still got some wear out of them for mowing the yard, but I definitely wouldn't depend on these for hiking, running or even going to the gym; once my shoes are on, I'm not going to keep fiddling with them.

True to size, but the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. Wore them for 3 days and then put them in the donation box. Would have returned them if I hadn't removed the tags. I've purchased Salomon shoes before with no issues, but these were not comfortable.
