Love these shoes ! First pair of Salomon's and I will be buying more for sure ! Light, grippy, supportive and lacing system is excellent !

Love the style of this shoe. My third pair of Salomon's. Solid support from the sole. Really like the quick lace system. Got my normal size in this shoe but it felt a half size small. Going to have to exchange for larger size.

I love the Salomon X-Mission 3. I do a lot of running on dirt roads (50 mi/week) and this shoe has served me well. I always order a 1/2 size big because it runs small if you use a wool performance sock. Zappos service was awesome and got my shoes to me in time to break them in before a marathon.

These shoes are great! Am buying a second pair.

As soon as I put them on, I knew they would be a good trail running shoe. They fit well and were comfortable for the type of shoe they are. Running trails, they have good support and seem to be made well. I would definitely go with another Solomon trail shoe again.

The X mission 3 is an extremely versatile, lightweight trail running shoe. It can handle a wide variety of environments such as dry, wet, soft, and hard trails. The treads are tough enough to grip most of what you'll find on singletrack trails, yet they're not too over-the-top to handle a brief run on the treadmill. The arch and interior support of the she is phenomenal. The toebox is closer to a "standard" toebox. Not nearly as narrow as the speed cross 3 models. Having said this, I still needed to go up half a size. This is an all season shoe. The breathable upper mesh provides excellent ventilation for warmer weather, yet the treads provide moderately good grip on light surface snow. I picked up a pair of the midnight forest/orange color scheme, and I must say I really think the outdoorsy look of the shoes is very handsome. It works nicely with a pair of khakis, as well as your standard running attire. This is a low profile, lightweight trail running shoe, and yet it has the durability to withstand most of what you'll encounter on any given trail. By way of comparison, the speed cross, and Fellraiser models are very high quality, but don't offer the flexible, versatility of the X mission 3. Highly recommended!

My 5th pair of the same style. Only issue is the back heel wears away and leaves plastic digging into the back of your ankle. I keep ordering because I love them so much. Comfort, style, lacing are all A+
