For a really comfortable shoe, I thought it was much nicer looking than most. The sole is not really cork, but a cork image.I walked around all day in these with no problem. Second only to tennis shoes.

So comfy, except that I have bunions. I really want to keep these, but they won't work. Not as clunky as Birkenstocks, but still substantial and seem like they would be durable. Bummed that I have to return them.

Most comfortable sandal. Wear a 9 1/2, ordered a 9. Perfect. First time ordering Merrell. Would do so again.

These are great-looking shoes and very comfortable. I have only one complaint: The footbed is too smooth and slick. Not only do my bare feet slide around more than I'd like, but I get air trapped under my feet and it squirts out in a raspberry sound with every step, which is embarrassing. I was really hoping for a more "velvety" footbed...not sure how to describe it, but if you've purchased active sandals before you probably know what I mean. I hope that stops at some point because I'm keeping them! They look really nice and can dress up or down.

I love Merrell shoes! These around town backstrap sandals are a replacement for a previous pair of Merrell's that lasted forever. Fit and comfort are great. I like the style as well. Definitely a keeper!

I absolutely love these shoes! I am heading to New York and wanted something comfortable yet not too bulky. These are perfect! These fit like a glove. I have high arches so finding shoes to walk a lot in is hard enough let alone sandals! The straps are snug enough so they do nit feel loose on the foot. I am very happy that I found these.

I liked these sandals; however, the leather had too many imperfections. So, I marked them down to 4 stars.

These were great at first. Nice looking and great arch support. But in less than a month they stretched out. Wish they came with a guarantee to last longer than a month.

Love the cork soles, nice support, great for long walks, breathable, and wear well. Nicely made, been wearing them for over a year and nothing has come apart or stretched out too much.

These shoes are great. I own a pair of Merrell sandals that I love, so I wanted another similar pair. These looked a bit plain online, but in person they are very stylish and flattering. They are extremely comfortable. My only complaint is that they don't have a thick enough sole. I would love to have these with a bit more of a heel and a thicker footbed under the ball of the foot. I am probably going to keep them anyway.

I love these shoes. They look great and the arch support is amazing. I've never felt such wonderful arch support in a sandal. However, the leather is incredibly stiff. It rubs in a couple of spots. I want so much to keep them, I'm trying to convince myself I can make them work. In every other way, they are my favorite sandals ever.

Love love love these shoes! This is my second pair they are so comfortable I wear a size 9 and that's what I ordered in these. There's no break in time they're comfortable from the moment you put them on. I have really bad foot problems and I can wear these all day.

I love these sandals. They're incredibly comfortable. I originally ordered a size 7 since other Merrell sandles fit me in that size, but I ended up needing an 8 which was weird but not a big deal. The leather is really soft. I also have heal pain and need to be careful of what I wear. The footbed gives just enough to not put pressure in any one place while also being supportive.

I saw these shoes on someone and absolutely loved them. I looked for them online and didn't think these were the same shoes, as the picture makes them look a little crude and rough and inelegant, like those shoes made with recycled tires on the bottom. I ordered them to check if they were the same ones- they were- and will now keep both colors, they are that good. The straps are placed very nicely, the zigzag of the bottom of the sole is much smoother than they look pictured. They are a little Birkenstock-y looking, but much more fashionable, more like something you'd find by a European designer like Dries Van Noten or Celine. Very happy with them. Very comfortable, too.

This is my second pair of these sandals. They look great, and are very comfortable. I can walk for miles in them. I had my first pair for 4 years, and they held up beautifully. He cork is comfy like a memory foam, but not that soft. Highly recommend these.

Very cute and comfortable! nice support for walking and no break in time. They do seem like they will stretch out quickly however.

The sandal is fine. Just not right for my slightly wider feet.

So close! I almost want to keep these on hand just to admire the materials and construction. I love the cork, love the two-tone upper. I am a 9.5 and bought these in 9, and they are still just a tad long for my liking, as I prefer a pretty compact sandal. And the darker/upper-foot strap leaves a bit of a gap on me. I have a feeling the 8 would actually be perfect on me. I'm trying some different (less aesthetically pleasing) styles first, but I may be ordering this in 8 soon just to see.... I did call Merrell, and they said they have not had lots of reports of these running large, so maybe it's just me.

Normally a size 5 or 5 1/2 fits great. 5 was too large.

I would usually wear a size 6.5, except my foot is wide across the toe, so sometimes I order up to a size 7. This shoe fits well, but the strap across the toe is almost to roomy, and I rarely have that problem! I have to buckle to the tightest notch, and I would even like to tighten it more. I am going to take these to a shoe repair joint and have the strap shortened (there is way too much extra strap since I have it buckled so tight) and also have 2 more holes put in. Overall, I have loved these shoes. I bought them at the beginning of summer for a trip to Europe. I wore them a ton on the trip and a lot since then, and they are holding up well.

Love these sandals. Super comfortable - work well in city or country, even wear them for light hiking!

Fabulous casual sandal! Comfortable and lightweight.

I am a Merrell fan of many, many years and this sandal is just what I expected but secretly I do wish they were just a little more narrow (even though I knew they were "Medium" some shoes do fit tighter which suits my long and narrow feet!) and that the arch support was just a bit higher. Anyway, I love the style and comfort, and I suspect they will last a couple of seasons. Expecting to take them to Scotland and New York City. They work well for my relaxed lifestyle here in the NC mountains! AND my 23-year-old daughter LOVED them.
