I love, love,love these sandals! You can wear them right out of the box they are so comfortable. I have them in brown as well and I'm tempted to order the blue/aqua ones as well. I can't wear a sandal with a strap that goes through your toes, so this was the perfect solution.

Best sandal EVER!!! I first bought the brown ones, then HAD to have the black ones, too! Love the arch support! Wear them all day EVERY day!!

Wonderfully comfortable shoe for older active feet that are growing bunions and the Backstrap model is good looking with both dresses and pants.

Nicely made, very comfortable sandal. Unfortunately the top band was too tight for my very high arches. Too bad, because they would have been perfect.

I'm very happy with this sandal. Being hard to fit, I had doubts it would work for my somewhat narrow foot and high arch, but it's actually working well. It is roomy in the forefoot but not big enough to rub. The buckle has enough adjustment to make it perfect and there is a little bit of arch support to make it comfy for wearing around town most of the day. It's not a true cork footbed, just a cork look, but very flexible.

Perfect comfortable fit right out of the box. The toe and forefoot straps are not too tight nor too loose; the backstrap is adjustable. The footbed looked thin, but is nicely padded and has a fine velvety finish, almost like cork - not a hard plastic/rubber finish. I've been wearing these for a few days now with no discomfort. Very nice (tho pricy).

Wow! very comfortable, casual yet, stylish sandals. At first they felt baggy then I cinched up the strap a notch and they are fine. I usually wear an 8.5, the 8 works great! Very happy:)

These are my go-to sandals for everything. They have the right amount of support, are very comfortable, and look nice with everything. I highly recommend these sandals.

I just ordered another pair of these AMAZING sandals. They were comfortable out of the box. I just returned from 4 days of walking the San Francisco hills and they were more comfortable than my athletic shoes. I have received multiple compliments on them. I might purchase a third pair "just in case".

Like a more stylish Birkenstock: Dressy for work, yet comfortable for walking all day. I bought these in blue/grey for my job, yet find myself wearing them all the time. The cork footbed is ideal for summer & has arch support for trekking. Like the adjustable buckle, especially as I'm an 8.5 and had to buy a 9 since they come only in full sizes. They're roomy enough that an 8 may work, but since they're not sloppy I'll keep the 9. Better than barefoot!

I love these sandals ! I've tried Birkenstock, Alegria, Keen and Born and these are by far the most supportive yet comfortable sandals I now own. They fit true to size, are soft right out of the box and very flattering. There is just enough lift in the heel for my tired feet. Highly recommend!

Best sandals ever! I'd been looking for a comfortable walking sandal that were kind to my damaged feet (2 surgeries) and offered good support. These were the answer. Good fit. I usually wear an 8 - 8.5 in shoes and the 8 in these fit just fine. Have had good luck with Merrells over the years and these are no exception. And thanks, Zappos for great service.

I absolutely love the look! Unfortunately the shoes were too narrow and I could not even get my feet in them. I am disappointed and obviously will be returning them.

As usual, these are perfect right out of the box. Not one pinch, rub, or squeeze. They have a cushy insole and even good arch support. Merrells are the best!

Super comfortable! My feet actually feel better in them than without. Very cute too. Can wear with almost anything. Note that the leather is actually 2 shades. The black ones have a grey for the tie strap. Very subtle - I love it. The only con is after 2 weeks the cork is showing some wear as the dark stain on the edges is wearing away to a light brown. Also I wish they came in half sizes.

The Merrell Around Town attracted me at first because it is a Merrell. When I shop Merrell I automatically think comfort. Not only is it soooo comfortable but it looks good. I wear it with jeans, skirts and cropped pants. They look great and feel great. Can't get any better than that!! They fit true to size.

These are very comfortable, rugged and earthy, and very light weight! I love the color of the dark brown and very comfortable to walk in for hours!

These shoes are very comfortable right from the start. They run true to size. They are a keeper.

I live in Michigan so these have not seen the outside, but in the house they are great. I wear 6's in sandals that's is what I ordered and received. Liked them so much I ordered the black. Know they will be great for summer. My feet are a med to a little wide. Fit just right. Thanks Zappos for great service and shoe companies.

I normally wear a 9 medium, which is what I ordered in this sandal. I do have thick ankles & was concerned about the strap across the foot nearest the ankle. It is a little more snug than I would like. I would have preferred a tiny bit of elastic at the base so that it would give as I walk. I'm hoping that the strap will stretch a little with wear. The footbed is comfortable.

The most comfortable sandal I have ever owned. From the first time I wore them it was if I’d owned them for years. Coloring on footbed wears off though.
