The new terran is not as nice as the old model. Less leather and do not fit the same. Ordered same size and they are too big. Ended up wearing them before realized it and now stuck with them.

Was excited to get these but disappointed how small they fit. I have a narrow size 10 foot (41). This size "11" was slightly too small in foot bed and the top portion came up a bit too far and felt like it was squuezing the top. Have to return them. Too bad.

If you've purchased a previous version of this sandal, you will be disappointed with the fit. It's much looser and doesn't feel as secure and well made. It is very comfortable but I feel like I'm going to trip in them. Dear Merrell: Go back to the previous sandal design. Sounds like you had a devoted following and I can tell you, I would have continued to purchase them.

I LOVED my sandals when I first got them. The fit was amazingly great. The comfort was also great. For me these are expensive shoes. But I was so impressed and thrilled, I wanted to buy more in other colors. However, within a couple of weeks, they stretched out and became too loose. The once soft and comfortable sole wore out within a few weeks. I never get them wet. I take good care of them. They now hurt my heels when worn for more than a couple hours. So sad and disappointed.

Evidently, what Merrill did was to replace the "Holly Leaf" style with Terran Post II. The uppers are identical, however, there is a big difference in the sole and arch support. This is obvious if you put the two side by side. So, to anyone who noticed the change or needs additional support, look for the old style at outlet stores, etc. Good luck!

I purchased these sandals to wear occasionally. I live in Ohio, so they are not worn year round. The fabric on the heel bed of the sandal broke or wore away around the outline of my heel. Very poor quality for the price of these sandals. I loved the comfort of them and thought it would be a pair I could keep around for a few years.

When I first wore these I loved them for their comfort, support and appearance. Within 6 weeks they were completely ruined. The inside comfort layers disintegrated. I was mainly walking on a sandy beach and and well groomed woodland trails. They are now unwearable.

This was my go to pair of sandals for over a decade. Now the leather sole has been replaced with this memory foam material. It wears out within two weeks! Sadly I will never purchase this pair of shoes again.

I have purchased the style of sandal every year for the last 11 years. The soul of the shoe used to be made of leather and I wore the shoes every day all day all summer long and they were the most comfortable durable sandals ever! The new air cushion soul is made of some cheap fabric and after only two weeks it wears out tears and is very uncomfortable causing friction on the bottom of my feet. I ordered a second pair thinking the first one was just defective. Nope, it is a design flaw due to the cheap material now used on the soul of the sandal. Sadly, this long time customer won't be buying the shoes again.

I ordinarily love Merrell sandals and running shoes. After purchasing these for long country/forest walks with my dog, I was shocked. The sandals feel like slippers - always slipping off. I wound eight layers of duct tape around the toe piece and it helped a bit. Hate is a strong word, but I hate these sandals and will be donating them to a Thrift store in the hopes that someone with an extremely wide foot may be able to use them.

Did not order but would have loved to. I had a similar Merrell shoe in the past and loved them. Been looking for a replacement but they no longer make half sizes and the fit in the next size up is not good. Very very sad to have to find another brand but that’s what I’ll do.

I have a high instep and couldn't slide my foot all the way in. No way to adjust the strap. The insole was very cushy and I wish they'd fit.

This shoe has been a disappointing experience. I was expecting the traditional Merrell comfort and durability but it isn't in this sandal. The sandal broke down much quicker than expected: the microfiber footbed covering has several tears and is pulling away from the edges while the footbed now feels stiff and painful. I have been a loyal Merrell buyer for over a decade, this a drop in quality. I have a pair of Merrell sandals 12 years old that look better than these after less than 4 months.

I was in need of a new pair of sandals to replace my worn out hollyleaf sandals. I felt the Terran post would be a good choice since it looked similar to my old sandals. When I wore the sandals I got blisters on my toes and the foot bed had no support. I am a loyal merrell shoe customer and I was greatly disappointed in my purchase. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have always found merrell to be a brand that looked nice and feel good too. Now I am still looking for sandals and have a pair that won't be worn. I hope they bring back the hollyleaf soon!

I bought a pair last spring excited to have them for the whole season. But before the weekend was out, the fabric on the sole began to move. I returned them to the store, and a week later received my new pair and by Midsummer the sole Fabric wore off in places on both shoes. Very disappointed considering what I paid for this shoe.
