The primary reason I returned these sandals is I could never undo the buckle. Even after trying multiple times I could not get the buckle to open. I was also unhappy with the velcro adjustments around the ankle which once tightened seemed to stick out in an unattractive way. The shoe bed felt great and the top was attractive visually. They just need some design rework regarding the closures.

Very comfortable , but the straps are too loose over the toes and there is not a way to tighten that.

Love the look and feel; however, the "fit" is the most disappointing fit I have had with any Merrell. Adjusting the straps to "tighten" is not simple, cannot tighten enough. Wanted to order another color but will not in this style.

These shoes were too loose. Even adjusting all of the velcro parts did not make it fit my foot. I do not have narrow feet but the buckled strap near the top of the foot is too roomy. There is elastic there but it is not adjustable.

I ordered 3 different Merrells in both 6 and 7 since 6.5(my usual size ) wasn't an option. In all 3, the 7 were better. First, I like the style and super arch support of the the Terran Lattice II best of all. That said, however, I'm sending back all 3 styles in all both sizes. The LatticeII has 3 velcro adjustments, but the heel adjustment is just too long. Sure I could take the shoe to a cobbler and pay to have that fixed, but I shouldn't have to do so and won't at this price. There is also a release mechanism similar to Chaco's, but even my husband struggled to get it open. So even if I could have gotten the straps adjusted, the quick release, was not quick at all! The second shoe is the Siren Strap Q2...a very basic looking sandal. It was a bit narrow for my 55 yr old foot and the middle strap (which has a very tiny bit of elastic on one side), was too snug. The last shoe is the Terran ConvertII. I like the look and it was comfortable enough, but again, it was a bit narrow and did not have the level of arch support that my feet need for all day type wear. I do not have wide feet. I'm on my feet 3/4 of my work day and they have flattened a bit with age,so they just didn't work for me. If you have younger feet, I'm sure these would work well for you.

I gave these sandals 3 stars because even though they were very comfortable and attractive, I could not open the latch to put them on and off. I purchased the same style a few years ago, had the same problem,and had to use the velcro part of the shoe to put them on and off. It wasn't long before the stitching tore loose from the velcro and the shoes could no longer be worn. I ordered them again, in hopes that problem had been resolved. In fact, I ordered 3 pairs in different colors and sizes (2 pair from Zappos, one from a different company). Out of 6 shoes, with 3 people trying, only 1 of 6 latches would open. They were also too wide for me, so the velcro had only a small surface area to hold on to. I sent them all back.

I like the style and the color. Unfortunately, the one strap that needs to be adjusted is the one with the clip instead of velcro. It can't be adjusted. Why the clip/buckle and not just velcro like the others? Also, the decorative strap doesn't feel like it has any give to it and since it rubs right on the bone, it might get sore after wearing it for a long time. I love Merrell sandals and they usually fit my foot perfectly-especially the arch support. Unfortunately, not this pair so they are being returned.

I have these sandals from previous years and I did not like this color. I am waiting for more fun and bright colors. The sandal is very comfortable for walking.

After buying Merrell sandals for years because they satisfied my need for good walking sandals that fit my weird feet, this is probably the last pair I’ll buy. I’m not returning them because they are good enough, but what happened to the quality of the old Adheras and Azuras? The deep heel bed is gone and the whole footbed is skimpier. I couldn’t even open one of the stiff, tiny plastic clasps, but I would be avoiding them anyway because they look so breakable—I’m relying on the Velcro straps instead to get in and out. I’ve come to expect more from Merrell. I hope I can find a replacement to take their place.

I have worn Merrill sandals for many years. In the beginning, they were my first salvation for comfortable and stylish sandals. Sadly, the quality has consistently diminished over the years. This sandal is 1/8 inch more narrow at the widest part of the toe area and 1/4 inch more narrow at the heel than the last pair I owned. The small plastic buckle is very difficult, actually impossible for me, if you have any loss of strength/flexibility in your hands. The strap across the toes squeezes too tight and is painful. The cushioning for the soles of your feet is very minimal. So very disappointed.

Had to return these as they were a bit long and narrow for my foot. Nice looking ,but did not fit well.

Wanted to love them, but the back adjusting strap just does not work to make them comfortable. Love the looks but they have to go back.

I bought these a couple years ago from another store & they have been my absolute favorite sandals. They are getting a bit worn and I wanted to replace them. The part that goes across the foot was much more narrow than my current ones. Sadly I have to return them.

I thought it was cute but they run way too narrow. I have wide feet and the little black strap at the end (can't be adjusted) is killing my pinky toe. I can actually slip it out and if it wasn't that it looks ridiculous I could have worn it like that. Too bad. Also the arch support is not impressive.

I purchased this shoe a few years ago in New Zealand and lived in them for a few summers.. I thought I would easily replace them with a new pair. Unfortunately, the quality is now inferior and the shoe is not nearly as comfortable. The clasp is cheap and difficult to use. The older version of the Merrell Terran Lattice was fabulous. I wish I hadn't worn mine out.

Loved the styling, but they didn't fit. I normally take a wide, but with Merrells, medium is normally fine (they don't make wide widths). With this style however, medium was too narrow for me.

This is the new version of the San Remo which morphed into the Acacia. Those models had all leather straps so that they had give to them. They also were a bit "dressier" and, thus, more versatile. Bring them back please, Merrill!!!

I don't know about Merrill anymore. I have ordered this style shoes several times over the years. It seems the fit and quality have gone down hill. I wear an 8.5 shoe and since these have no half size, ordered a 9. The velcro straps over the ankle and foot are too short. The ones to adjust the back are too long and stick out. I need to adjust them to fit more snugly and it just looks ridiculous. I've ordered a size down to see if they fit better. As far as quality, my last pair looked really shabby after one year. Older pairs lasted longer. Still it's a very comfortable shoe but overpriced for what it is.

Disappointed! I bought these in black. The inner arch strap and strap holder leave black stains on the inner arch side of my feet - both sandals! The black dye is not stable. I have low volume feet so the fit is a bit loose. Having walked quite a few miles in them, I can attest that the footbed is adequately cushioned for most purposes. If you are looking for a true hiking sandal, you will need one of their more substantial sandals.
