This is the second pair of Merrell Siren Edge shoes I have purchased. They are so comfortable, and have great cushioning of the footbed. I wear orthotics so I can easily remove the insoles, insert my orthotics and the fit is perfect. I bought the second pair so I'd have a new pair ready whenever the first pair have worn out. I wear a 9 1/2 but the shoe doesn't look large at all. I love them!

I absolutely love these shoes, after owning my Merrell MBound performance footwear the last 2 years I decided I would purchase another pair of Merrell shoes. These siren edge are amazing & the quality is perfect. I will definitely be sticking with Merrell shoes indefinitely!

I love the Siren Edge - so much that I now own three pair. I have high arches and have to wear orthotics. They fit well in this shoe with or without the provided insert. I wear these hiking, slopping through water and just on a daily basis. I have three different colors. All look good and don't make my size 10 foot look like a size 10 foot! Lots of toe room and very durable. They wash well too. But I don't put in the dryer. I totally recommend these for comfort, durability, true to fit and style.

This is my second pair of the Siren Edge; the first pair I purchased on Zappos a year ago. I hadn't worn the first pair a ton, just enough to know they are reliable and very comfortable. I have worn them hiking the hills and walking on concrete, I've lately even worn them to the office. But suddenly that first pair has become my go-to shoe to deal with my acute plantar fasciitis. They're perfect and padded for my painful (and narrow) heel, they seem pretty waterproof, and the arch support is perfect for me. Nice wide toe box, and they can handle putting a custom orthotic inside. I'd been looking in my closet for the right 'comfort' shoe to get me through this ailment and these have been the best pair. So I ordered a second pair in advance of a trip I'm taking. I will need to walk a little, and generally be comfortable. I have also fallen in love with certain shoes only to have them get old and shabby and I'm unable to replace them. Purchased this pair as insurance against that issue! I also get compliments on the Siren Edge every time I wear them. Great job, Merrells!

I'm excited to take these shoes on a vacation to N.C. with many hikes planned! I ordered many different styles of Merrell's, but decided to keep these. They felt the most comfortable on my feet - I have high arches and a wide toe box. Other Merrell styles felt too tight in the toes. I also like the style of these shoes - they don't look "bulky" considering they are a hiking shoe. I did find Merrell's to run a half size small - the half size up in all the styles I ordered felt the best.

FANTASTIC shoes!! Good stability, foot protection and support. I have severe neurons and have a very hard time finding shoes that fit my size 5.5 foot. I wore these for about an hour right out of the box - they felt so good I did 5 miles of interval walk/running. I had no pain. The day before, in a different shoe, I had so much pain I had to quit at 3 miles. Four stars only because of style - otherwise perfect shoes! I wasn't crazy about the style. I was looking for something that looked less like a trail shoe and more like a regular running shoe but these are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in years!

Regular 10 was too small with hiking socks. 10.5 fits. These are really lightweight, which is a plus for packing to take overseas. Doing only day hikes with a small backpack, so don't need anything too armored. And they make your feet look smaller.

Sturdy and durable. I purchased these at the end of March. Unfortunately, they got sent to S. Korea because someone was not paying attention to zip code. Despite that, they fit perfectly. I have some toes issues, so they could be a bit wider and need much better arch support. A couple of days after I had received the shoes, I had 3 toenails removed and didn’t wear them for a week. I’ve since been on several hikes with our local Hike it Baby chapter here in Japan. They’ve given me confidence that my shoes will keep me from busting my butt. In general, I would recommend these to others and I enjoy my Merrels.

Love these shoes- my 3rd pair - use them for traveling. Have toured Paris & walked for weeks without looking like I was on an expedition. Color blends with a dark sock & long pants so you are comfortable but still look appropriate to walk through a city. I wear custom orthotics & they accommodate them perfectly. Can’t say enough about this shoe. They are going to Australia for a month next!

I love these shoes. They are light and very comfortable. Great for summer hiking. I bought a half size larger than I usually wear based on a recommendation and I’m glad I did.

I loved these shoes right out of the box. I walk my dog twice a day 1-2 miles, my knee never felt better. I had a partial knee replacement So I am very selective about the shoes I buy. I can hike longer distances too! Life is good!

I usually don't write review but thought I could be helpful. In a panic while packing, I ordered these shoes and they arrived the day before I left for 3 weeks in Italy. Like most Merrells, they run a half to one she small, so I got a 9.5 vs. 9.0. I also have slightly wide feet. Well, without any breaking in and with regular short athletic socks , these shoes performed admirably. Plenty of walking and stairs- especially in European airports, long treks on cobblestones and very uneven surfaces, even on rocky beaches (Southern Italy is so beautiful). They were still sleek enough that I felt fine going in restaurants and even to the opera one night. No discomfort despite all the rigorous use and only one very small blister ( due to a weird toe overlap I have). I am going to order anther pair. If you are on a budget, this is worth the spurge too. I also purchase a well rated pair of another brand for $55 dollars. there is a bid difference and I am sending those back (to Amazon). Thanks to Zappos for the lightening fast delivery too.

The reviews sold me on trying the Siren Edge by Merrill and I am thankful for the details. I got my shows yesterday, and I can see they feel wonderful and look great, too! My feet and heels are narrow and these shoes met those needs perfectly. I wear an 8.5-9. Purchased a 9. Perfect there, too. Hope you like them as much as I do!

It is a great shoe, looks good, well made, but I tried a 7 1/2 and 8 (sometimes I'm between sizes), but the 8 was too short.

These are great shoes. I'm on my 2nd pair, as my daughter started wearing my first pair. Merrells are my favorite shoes. Fit great, comfortable all day long. The Siren Edge shoe is great for every day wear and light hiking.

My other trusty long-time Merrell Grassbows are a 9. This shoe in size 9 was a tight fit. Wearing them to test around the house made my feet feel hot from no air circulation. The 9.5 fit perfectly! As always, I've added my own Dr. Scholl's arch support because I have a high instep. I'm good to go!

I bought them for a camping/hiking event to replace my ten year old North Face hiking boots. I hiked in them on 5 easy/moderate trails and really liked the way they fit my foot. My foot is on a wider side of normal and I didn't feel any discomfort whatsoever. No break in necessary. They also DON'T make my size 8 feet look huge like most other hiking boots (I am petite in height). Although I don't believe the mesh on top makes them waterproof, they didn't get soaked during the light rain on a hike. I hope they last!

My feet supponate, unlike most people. This shoe helps keep my foot stable. It is very comfortable and there doesn't seem to be any breaking-in time. And, for a walking/hiking shoe, it looks pretty good.

Lite weight, stylish and best of all they are BUNION FREINDLY because there is no silly stitching like so many other styles have today. I have my own inserts for custom arch support. I purchased them for my upcoming hiking trip but they are cute enough to be my all around sneaker for overseas travel. My normal size is 7M but these fit better in 6.5M. Love them so much I purchased in 2 colors.

Overall, I like this shoe. Been wearing Merrell’s for a long time. Was looking for a lightweight hiking shoe - mostly for urban hikes and easy trails. I have Merrell hiking boots for mountain hikes over roots and rocks etc. While I prefer a 0” heel height on my shoes, this isn’t too bad - it Matt be a half inch. The toe box is wide enough so it doesn’t pinch my right toe bunion at all (my ASICS do). They are quite light weight and have plenty of traction. I’d been wearing my Bare Access Arc 4’s for easy walking, and those have been discontinued....so I was looking for a replacement. I ordered the 10.5 so I would have room for my orthotics - and I have plenty. The orthotics make the arch support perfect for me, as there would not be enough with out them. If you don’t wear orthotics, you may be fine with a 10. I find I do need to wear socks with these shoes, they are plenty roomy, and for cooler weather I’ll want socks anyway; and I can even wear heavier socks with these once it is cooler. While it doesn’t bother me, the inside of the shoe isn’t very cushiony, so socks are a good idea. They required no break in time at all - wore them right out of the box, which for me, is typical of Merrell. I loved this color! Very stylish and really nice for summer. All in all - a good purchase, and I’d get them again, perhaps a darker pair for winter.

Website reco'd 8 but I had to send back and get 8-1/2. After that I loved everything about these shoes. 1. Great color (blue). 2. Cushy and comfortable with good support. 3. Nice roomy toe and snug heel. Perfect for my daily walks with the dogs and cute enough to wear out with my skinny jeans. I'm tempted to get a second pair in a different color.

This is the second pair of these I have bought. I have 8 and 8.5's in my closet and have a narrow heel with a high arch. I bought 8.5 in this shoe and they fit great.

I tried on 12 different styles of light hiking shoes for a trip to Yosemite with my family and these were the winners. My feet were comfortable the whole trip! Before kids I used to backpack up mountains with all my gear on my back and I wore big heavy boots. This trip was car camping and day hikes with a couple of cub scouts so I knew I didn't need major protection and support, but I wanted good traction and major comfort. I resisted these shoes because, frankly they aren't cute, but they were far and away the most comfortable. They are light for hikers, but much heavier than running shoes, the sole is solid and grippy (no slips on the wet stone steps of the mist trail, although I slipped on wet river stone but I've never had a shoe of any kind that didn't). I didn't have time to break them in but they didn't need it, I've never been more comfortable lugging gear through the airport! My husband laughed at all the different shoes I tried, but he was complaining about his feet hurting by the end of the second day and I had no problem all week. My one reservation is that I suspect the uppers aren't going to hold up very long, they are light and comfortable but don't seem to be very tough.

This shoe is great, and super cute with leggings, skinny jeans or shorts. Taking them to Ireland in a couple of weeks. I know they aren’t waterproof, but I found the gore tex shoes through Merrell all had too much mesh material that would buckle. Instead I purchased the Merrell waterproof spray to put on these non waterproof shoes. So far they’re very comfortable and supportive. A huge plus to Zappos for the free overnight delivery and always awesome costumer service too.

Amazingly happy with these shoes after wearing them for about a year. I walk 5 out of 7 days a week for about an hour each day. My walk is on pavement, so I’ve always purchased high quality shoes for good support. I have a neutral gate, but some arthritis in my feet and knees. Walking in pavement is not ideal for me, but these shoes have been consistently wonderful. I bought them about going through two pairs of Solomon’s which I also loved, but just wanted to try something different. Ive been very happy, and they are still holding up extremely well!
