Oh, my goodness, I really wanted to keep these. The design creates an optical illusion that does, indeed, make my foot look smaller! These are sleek, not clunky, and perhaps therein lies the rub, literally. The vamp was too snug and the toe box not as roomy. I loosened the laces and adjusted the tongue to give maximum width, but the vamp is just too narrow. I knew I'd regret choosing style over comfort, so back they go. Sigh... Nevertheless, Zappos rocks!

I bought these shoes because I like Merrell shoes. I did buy a half size bigger than I usually buy with Merrell, and they fit perfectly. They could use more arch support, but I like them. However, the red is NOT red. After polling several friends and using my own eyes, we concluded they tend to orange with a big hint of hot pink. Red, they are not.

This was a very nice shoe. I should have paid more attention to the reviews that said it runs narrower than most Merrells. I have fairly wide feet but the Merrells have always been comfortable so I was hoping these would be the same. They are more supportive that some others and are very nice looking, unfortunately, I had to send them back.

Love the shoes after changing for a more supportive insole. They look awesome and not as clunky as many athletic shoes in my large size.

I love Merrells and these are very cute, but don't expect hiking shoe support/comfort. There is no padding and minimal arch support. I found them comfortable with my custom orthotics but would otherwise have returned them. Fit as usual for Merrells requires a half size larger than usual.

I REALLY wanted to like these Merrell's, but the toe box is WAY too narrow, and the uppers are stiff with no give at all... unfortunately they're going back :-(

I thought this ran narrow.

Well, I got them for my mom who's 85 yrs. old. She didn't like the style. Sorry.

This is the third pair of these shoes I have bought. I know they fit and feel good right out of the box. I walk about 25 miles a week in these over uneven terrain. They are good, lightweight hiking shoes. However, for some reason, this pair squeeks. I don't really care because I'm on the trails and no one hears me, but if I wore these in a library or some other quiet place, everyone would hear me coming! And going.

I tend to choose merrills because they generally fit well as I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel. Unfortunately, the overall quality of the materials has declined.

The size is way to small.only have worn once. Please help. Thanks. JVS the shoes are nice but they don't fit.

NOT the old Siren Edge. Very disappointed. One year ago I purchased this shoe in a different color. They wore out. I needed a new pair. Purchased an available color and the quality has so seriously diminished. They are far less comfortable, even though they fit. I will not buy them again.

simply not Merrell last. I'm returning these and 3 others for same reason. no sense they were made for feet. I have normal non difficult feet and have always loved Merrells. Some years they miss the mark

I really liked the look of the shoe. Felt true to size and light weight. However it felt like walking on concrete - no arch support - have been searching high and low for arch support without heavy weight and not looking like a granny shoe. Had to return.

The shoes run narrow. No cushion inside.

I tried wearing this shoe for a day around the house. Within a couple of hours my feet were aching much like they do when I wear regular sneakers for any length of time. I was looking for a firm sole which this shoe had but it just didn't feel good. I was getting this shoe for a trip to National Parks and I recently recovered from a stress fracture of my metatarsal and the orthopedic PA suggested Merrill. I decided on another Merrill shoe which was much more comfortable for me. The Merrill Siren Hex Q2 E-Mesh worked much better for me.

Shoe felt stiff and too narrow in toe box.

These shoes are comfortable and I like them for walking outside. However, they are noisy, so I feel self-conscious when I'm walking somewhere that's very quiet, like a small store or the library. I also feel I can't wear them to work on casual days because of the noise.

The printed part of the shoe is a little cheap looking, but overall these fairly stylish. I found the footbed very hard and the arch support was too far back for me, so returned.
