This shoe is very comfortable. The sole is very sturdy and is much better than a regular athletic shoe.

This shoe was perfect right out of the box. Not a boot; not a shoe. A cross btw the 2. No break-in, no rubbing. Great traction with the "sticky" sole. My only issue is my super skinny feet :-) They were just a little too wide (size 6.5B) ( I am characteristically a solid 6, preferably N) and had some slippage @ the heel. I would recommend this shoe to anyone with a "normal" width foot. Thank you, Merrell, for always providing quality product and the best customer service around.

Very comfortable, supportive shoe. They are lightweight and attractive. I purchased them in black.

Light weight and nicely padded approach shoe. Have just purchased my second pair as I completely wore out the original after many, many kilometres.

This shoe is comfortable and has great stability. Not too heavy either. Taking it to Utah for hiking and then will enjoy it after I get back. Loved the bright colors.

After 30 years of wearing a size 6 shoe, this past winter, my left foot was no longer comfortable in my beloved Merrill's or any other shoe/boot. After consulting with a Physical Therapist and trying different sizes, I realized I needed a half size bigger. With many fitness/walking shoes, that made the right shoe too long & a bad fit. Merrill's in a 6.5 have been my answer! They are lightweight, have good arch supports and even after a day of walking, my feet feel great! Thank you, these are "PT and me" approved!

These shoes are great right out of the box. I hike a lot and have worn Merrell's mostly. I'm never disappointed.

Took these out of the box, directly into the Grand Canyon & a 2000 FT ascend/descend. AWESOME. LIGHT. COMFY. Hiked the desert for 4 days including some semi-scrambling in Sedona that was a little out of my comfort zone - sticky, secure, no problem. Absolutely cool, comfortable and stable from the first moment. I have high-maintenance feet - get blisters every summer from sandals I already have. Have narrow ankles and issues with slippage -- no problem with these shoes! i was on the fence on the color but actually kind of loved the pop of cray on trails in the sea of boring browns.
