I bought the Merrell Siren Edge to use when I go places that I need to do much walking. Usually, I wear older running shoes but they don't look as great with casual cloth as these shoes. The shoes are very comfortable and light weight for a shoe. They fit true to size. The arch support is good but I still insert my own orthotics and feels great. I highly recommend them. I bought the Merrell Siren Edge in the black and Aluminum color as they are the more neutral colors. I love these shoes. They are also great for hiking but I have a pair of Merrell hiking boots that I also like.

These are great shoes - I bought them for a trip to Ireland and used them in every kind of terrain. Hiking and city walking (including wet cobblestones) were easy with them. Total comfort and never slipped even on wet grass on a steep hill. Very happy with this purchase.

These are a well fitting shoe, enough width in toe and snug at the heel. Very light weight and not clunky looking as many trail shoes can look.

Great color, great fit!

Have been exercising over 40 years. These shoes are absolutely great for hiking, walking and circuit training at the gym. They have great arch support, great medial and lateral support and create confidence in your stride. 100% recommend.

Very light. Super comfortable and supportive. Great for light hiking, walking, travel. Fit was perfect out of the box. Good fit for foot that needs rounded toe, snug heel.

These are similar in style to an older pair of Merrill’s I had years ago but these are much improved. They are lighter, more flexible, and more comfortable. The size that was recommended by Zappos when I used the fit guide was perfect. As other reviewers have said there was no break in period needed. I liked the color selection I made also and am very happy with my purchase.

I love these shoes. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, and the Sirens with the Vibram sole are the only shoes I can wear that doesn’t cause me tremendous pain. I’ve always loved Merrells, but now I wear them out of necessity.

Wore these straight out of the box, for a walking trip through Scotland. Lightweight, very good overall foot support. If you need dedicated arch support, these are not for you, unless you factor in your own added arch support. I would also recommend an anti odor insert. They are not as aerated as advertised. This model is a walking/hiking shoe. But, I don't really expect this model to last. It is well designed, but feels very cheaply made. This footwear is a one off purchase, and not a footwear investment for dedicated walkers.

Excellent support and comfort for the easy trail hiking I do. Would feel confident trusting them in more strenuous conditions.

I purchased the Merrell Siren Edge to replace some other hiking shoes that I found to be way too rigid. I These are perfect. I have worn them on day hikes and short backpacking trips and found them to be consistently comfortable and excellent on all kind of terrain. The turquoise color is so much fun, too. I pair them with Dirty Girl gaiters to keep out the rocks.

These are my first pair of Merell's and I am very impressed. I didn't much time to break them in before leaving on a light hiking/heavy walking vacation in the Sierra Nevada's and LA area. But the shoes have been near perfect. No hot spots, no rubbing, no problems at all. If I had a magic wand, I would give them slightly more arch support but this in a very mild comment compared to all of the other benefits. The Aluminum color is great, it hides a lot of dirt and scuffs. It is more of a brown than a grey and it looks great with pants, shorts and skorts. Well done!

I ordered these in the same size as my athletic shoes, since I use them for hiking. I was really impressed. I ordered them just before I needed them, so I did not have time to wear them in or even try them out. I spent 5 days in them, both hiking and walking. They were so comfortable! I would definitely recommend.

The Siren Edge were purchased in Aqua. Love the color and the design makes your foot look smaller. Nice room in the toe box and heel fits snug. I put these on and wore them the rest of the day. No blisters and great comfort. These are keepers.
