I have worn the Gel Nimbus for years and love them. These are no exception. Yes, the "cush" is a bit different in this model, not such an immediate pillowy feeling. But like another reviewer said, be patient, because the cushioning will just feel better and better the more you wear them. Excellent shoes, great for walking or running, short or long distances. They are always supremely comfortable from the moment you put them on.

I always wear Asics as my athletic shoes. The past few years I've noticed their sizing has become unpredictable; sometimes they run true to size, other times, a half size small. These are smaller. Wonderfully made, extremely comfortable. The picture didn't show that the pink is neon.

I think that ASICS has a real quality control problem. In the past, their shoes ran a bit small, so I would order a half size up, but the last two models I've tried are a good whole size too small!

I think this runs small, compared to Asics gel kayanos that I had in the past. It wasn't as narrow in the toe as current kayanos and going up a 1/2 size worked. I ordered it in wide.

I ordered these running shoes not because I'm a runner but because I was having problems with a weak ankle. I under pronate and these were recommended for that. I also wanted a shoe that was higher in the rear and the reviews said they were. I added thin inserts for planter faciitis. With the inserts in they do slide just slightly on the back of the heel but not enough to be bothersome. So far they are extremely comfortable and my ankle feels very stable. They do run at least 1/2 size smaller. I ordered an 8, my usual size and an 8.5. I kept the 8.5 but could have worn a 9. Plenty of width in the toe area.

I have high arches and have worn Nike for years. Not anymore, these Asics are wonderful!! I truly feel as though the gel supports and reacts to movement. It's impressive and oh so comfortable!

My first ASICS were the Gel Nimbus 16 and I LOVED LOVED LOVED them! It was like walking on clouds. After reading reviews, I looked everywhere online for another pair of 16 but had to settle on the 18. I am not thrilled. This shoe runs a full size smaller. Also, I had to get these in Wide for more room, however, it still feels a bit narrow. The cushioning also doesn't feel like I'm walking on clouds. PS I would not pay full price for these, and reading reviews for the 19, I wouldn't pay full price for ASICS going forward. I would be nice if ASICS would just use the same 16 model with different color combinations. Why mess up a good product. Thank goodness for Zappos tho. Excellent customer service!

I've worn Asics Gel Nimbus for running for several years. I like the fit and cushioning. I really like this color design!

I've always worn the Nimbus shoe...but this model feels different. They are more narrow then the previous models. I have been loyal to the Nimbus model for many years but this is not the same as it used to be. They always have run about a half a size small for me, so I recommend ordering up a half size. But if you don't have a narrow foot, this new Nimbus might not be the best fit.

Love the Asics brand, have worn them for years! By far the most comfortable shoe for my foot. Ordered this pair and had to send back they run a little short. Thankfully there was a bigger size in stock! Customer service very helpful! No issues at all!

I say it fits true to size, but I go up a size in my athletic shoes. These are great with plenty of cushion. I use them for boot camp and they are just what I need.

Love the colors and the fit is good. Definitely go 1/2 size up because the fit is snug at that size. Comfortable shoe and seems to have a lot of support.

I wear a 10 wide in all my athletic shoes, but this shoe fits very small. I am returning it and ordering another half-size up. Hope it fits; otherwise it felt comfortable.

I have worn a version of this running shoe for over 5 years and love them. Like that you can order width as well.

Nice and light weight but not enough gel cushion and support for me. Great colors - nice mesh for hot Florida feet. Felt a little narrow but might stretch with use. I always get 6 1/2 - these are definitely shorter than my other recent purchases.

Used to be able to count on the Nimbus for cushy gel support but these have very little under the ball and toes and not as much under the heel as my three and four years old pairs. Until I can find them 'like they used to make them', I'll send them back. Thanks Zappos for making it so easy.

I have worn asics gel kayanos for years and years for running... but I just can't pay the exorbitant price for kayanos anymore so I have switched to gel nimbus and they are just as good if not better than the gel kayanos at less money! Gel nimbus fits well and gives me the same padding and support I got use to with the gel kayanos! Thank you!

Very comfortable shoe. I did order a half size larger than I regularly wear in Asics. Color is pretty and fun.

Should have listened to other reviews! This shoe runs VERY narrow and short. Will be returning. Too bad - have worn Asics Nimbus for years. UGH!!
