I've been running in 7M Asics for years. Ordered these in a 7.5D, wide width. The left one fits almost perfect. The right one is way too tight. I realize most people have slightly different foot sizes, however this is wayyyy off. It hurts to even walk in the right one. Very disappointed as the left one is very comfy, very cushioned and they would have been good for running. I'm finding a lot of problems with Asics and have to wonder about quality control issues. Tired of buying/returning (even though Zappos is the BEST customer service on the plantet!) I'm going to Brooks and/or New Balance instead.

Not the color I purchased but I like the shoe just need way more support/padding under the ball of my feet. I wear this style for everything and my feet got to hurt and burn on the balms under my big toe at Disney. Also a little more reenforcement under big toes- I tend to get them worn thru there and the rest of the shoe looks brand new

I love these shoes! Very comfortable and provide plenty of support. Colors are great and I've gotten several compliments on them. Can't say enough about zappos. My order was on my doorstep within 24 hours of ordering!

I love this shoe. It fits perfect and works great feet don't hurt anymore! Great support too.

this is a very comfortable shoe. I had been buying Brooks but found that they didn't hold up too well. I'm a nurse and am on my feet all day. I need support and comfort. I wear a size 12W but found these sneakers to be a bit too short. I will return them for a size larger.

Had to return :( love the style and color and have bought this gel nimbus series is past but these were a lot more narrow than my others had been. Bummed.

runs very small, too tight in the toe box. I am a 5 w and even the 5 1/2 was too tight, if I go up to a six, my right side shoe would be too loose, too bad, really like the rest of the shoe.

Very narrow and short for a wide shoe! My foot measures an 8. I usually buy size 9 wide sneakers even though only my toe area is wide. I bought the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 18s in a 9D and they are very narrow and very short for a supposedly wide shoe. There is no room for an orthotic in these, although I've been considering giving up my orthotics, so that may not be an issue. On the plus side, these hold my foot well and I don't have the heel slippage I get when wearing New Balance. I bought the ASICS because I'm sick of battling with every pair of NB sneakers as they slip and slide on my narrow heel. These have great cushioning and arch support too. In the end, I may have to return these. I may order a 9.5 and compare them to see if there is any improvement. I do wonder whether these will stretch in time and whether it's worth wearing slightly tight size 9Ds until they do.

Great looking sneaker and super comfie too! Order 1/2 size up. I know it's hard to pick the ideal sneaker because there are so many choices but with asics you can't go wrong. Definitely recommend

This is the first pair of Gel-Nimbus I've purchased. I ordered these because they come in narrow widths. I'm very happy with them except for the arch support. I had to add an insert for the arch which for the price of this shoe, I shouldn't have to add anything. Now with this extra insert, they are great.

I go through shoes like crazy to try to find the most comfortable fit, and I'm soooo happy to say, I have found the most comfortable shoe in the world. I have terrible leg/feet pain due to arthritic conditions and these shoes have been a lifesaver!! I can stand, walk and run in these for hours. I'm on my feet all day as a nurse and these have definitely saved me.

Love these shoes but not the best asics I've owned.

I'm an avid Nimbus fan, I've owned at least 5 versions thus far and this version 18 is a huge disappointment. The toe box is much narrower than previous versions, so much so that I experienced major numbness and have had to quit wearing them. Average runs are between 3-6miles and I can't make it to the two mile mark without major discomfort. Wish I could return these but alas I have worn them.

This is my first purchase in the nimbus line after my podiatrist recommended Asics. Love the support for my high arches and the cushion in the heel helps the knees. I must say they do run small. I am normally between a 7.5 and an 8 depending on the shoe...and the 8s were too short for me. Ordered the 8.5s and they fit beautifully. Others mentioned the higher back on these but that feels fine to ke...no issues. My tendonitis in me feet is much better after a few days in these.

It is a great shoe for both style and comfort. The wide size didn't seem much wider than the normal width, so that was a bit of disappointment. It still fit securely and had adequate room in the toe box for larger feet and for runners. Most shoes now are becoming too narrow in the toe box , but these fit great. Definitely worth a try.

Really cute and very comfy shoes!

I previously have owned the Nimbus 17, and hoped for a similar fit with these: I wasnt disappointed, I feel like they are still similar in feel and lightness for my feet. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and work in healthcare, so I'm on my feet a good part of my day. Definitely helped to resolve the aching and wear and tear on my feet.

I've been a Gel Nimbus owner for several years and there is no other shoe that compares. This shoe provides some much stability and cushion as you run and or walk. Once you wear these shoes you will never buy another kind!

My favorite pair of running shoes is Asics. I wish I would have bought about 5 pair of the last Asics I bought, but these are a very close second. They are very comfortable, maybe a little on the small size for shoe size, but not enough to return them for a larger size. I will be ordering them again and will order the half size up. I bought a second cheaper set of Asics for walking, but wish I would have just spent the little extra and bought a second set of the Nimbus 18. They are a little pricey but my feeling is it's money well spent.

These are really comfortable! Like running on pillows.

I have an average arch, size 12 narrow (skis for feet), am a neutral pronator, run 40-50 miles a week. These are my favorite shoes EVER. And that's saying a lot. I've tried and returned about 200 shoes (who knows) in the past year trying to find "the ones" since zero stores carry 12 2A. These are the ones. I LOVE that they come in 2A/narrow widths and they are so cushioned without feeling "mushy." I thought the gel would be too mushy but they are still responsive and don't feel heavy or like you're running with hooves. Perfect amount of support and cushion while feeling natural. No big "bump" on the arch or very prominent arch support which is perfect for my neutral/average arched foot. They seem like they will last a long time too. Very well made shoes. Never stop making these shoes Asics! I will run in these shoes for as long as they exist.

Best shoe ever for me. This is my 5th pair. I use them everyday sometimes all day. I have plantar fascia and my inserts fit great. They have been consistent in sizing. I wear an 8 medium and each pair has fit great. They are my go to for walks, work etc. The construction is good and they last a long time.

These are SO comfortable!! Great arch support, and ankle support as well. I have an injured ankle, and can really tell the difference when I wear these. MUCH more stability.

Replacing an old pair of Asics with this model. As other reviewers have noted, this sneaker's wide sizing is NOT consistent with older styles. Don't waste your time ordering.
