These shoes fit the same as the size 10. i do not believe that they are wide width, especially the left shoe which more narrowly on my foot than the size 10 wide did.

My podiatrist recommended this brand and style to assist with my plantar fasciitis and high arches. I wear these to work on a daily basis and they were comfortable but not near comfortable enough to warrant spending $150 especially when within 3 weeks the soles were lifting at the edges. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because they ARE light. Did not last long at all. highly disappointed. I have no problem investing money in sneakers that wear well. I expected these to last 4-6 months but I only got approx. one month of reasonable wear out of them before the lifting soles caused problems. I think it's inherent in this brand because the last pair of Asics I bought did the same. I gave them one more try on the off chance the last pair were a freak problem. But NOPE! Sorry ASICS, you've lost a customer.

Very bummed out runner. I've been running in the Gel-Nibus Asics for about 4 years, unfortunately when they changed/upgraded as usual each year and this time it didn't work. The fabric on the toe area is not as flexible as the older fabric/mesh. I had to return because I got two blisters on my toes - been running in this same shoe, just new version doesn't work.

Sorry Asics, this version of the Nimbus was a big fat fail for me. This is very unusual as I have been brand loyal for over 10 years. I've usually been extremely happy in the Nimbus or Cumulus. However, this Nimbus 18 seems to sit higher and tighter on my Achilles Tendon causing significant soreness. Very disappointed. Back to the drawing board on finding a comfortable supportive running shoe. These are getting returned.

I love the Nimbus 17. It was super comfortable and I was very excited to get this new style. I love the turquoise color. It is such a pretty shoe. It is not as comfortable as the 17 and hurt my foot. I didn't think the toe box was any smaller, but I did have to go up a half size. I normally get a 10.5 because I wear a 10 and this allows a little room for running. However, the 10.5 was a half size too small, so I ordered an 11. Beautiful shoe just sadly uncomfortable.

I absolutely loved the Gel Nimbus 16 and ran a few full marathons with them, I had 3 pairs! Plus I wear them to work as an RN. I skipped the 17's because I didn't like the new look. I am now training for another marathon and I needed a new shoe. I knew the Gel Nimbus has great cushion for all the pounding on the road, so I decided to buy the Gel Nimbus 18. I went running back to back 12 miles and then 8 the next day and they felt okay - my feet felt really hot and they felt a little tight. I was hoping I just needed time to break them in. I ran a 20 mile run and they were terrible in the toe box - its much smaller than the 16s. Ive run 7 marathons and never lost a toenail and I am worried about my BIG TOE! My toe hurts bad so I'm soaking it daily and missing some needed training runs. Totally disappointed. I cant even put them on my toe hurts so bad. Ive been wearing my old Nimbus 16s to work again and today I got the Gel Cumulus 17 today and they feel much better in the toe box, but less cushion. Asics: bring back the Gel Nimbus 16s. The guy at the running store said he hears that all the time.

I have been wearing Asics for years and my last 5 pairs were Asics Gel-Nimbus, size 7. So I was especially disappointed and surprised that the latest pair were too small. I took my old pair and held it up against my new pair and they are visibly shorter! I will try to order the next size up, but my respect and faith in Asics has diminished.

I have worn Asics for years. Usually get a wide. This year they felt fine wearing them around at the store but when I went for a run in them my toes go numb. I tried loosening the laces and it didn't help. I would say if you normally wear a wide in Asics you won't be happy with this year's model.

These felt great for my plantar fasciitis. The DO run small. Had to buy 1/2 size up. Used them around the house. First long walk in them with some light jogging and these were horrible. Foot kept sliding forward and toes were getting jammed. Around the house and for standing they ate awesome but suck for jogging/walking. Bought this in wide which actually felt normal.

I have a wide foot and narrow heel. I ordered the wide width which was more a B width. They also felt half a size smaller than marked. The search continues. These are going back.

I had surgery on one of my toes last year and feel most comfortable in wide shoes now. I tried two different sizes (my normal size and a half size up) and both felt tighter than most of my regular width shoes. Otherwise a nice shoe.

ASICS clearly does not believe in standard sizing. I wear 12 B in dress shoes and 13 B in other brands of athletic shoes. Several months ago I tried the Nimbus and several other ASICS models in 13 B and they all had to go back. I decided to give them another try in 13 D, but they were still too short and narrow and are going back. If ASICS made size 14 I would probably give them another try because the arch support felt great. It would be better if they just followed standard sizing.

Attention ASICS: please listen to your customers and correct the narrow toe box problem! For decades I have worn ASICS Gel-Nimbus for exercise walking and everyday wear. In fact I've worn them so much that I purchased multiple pairs annually. I have a very narrow heel and need arch support. These were the best shoes I could find in narrow width - until the Gel-Nimbus 18 and 19 came along. As other reviewers have noted, the toe box in both 18 and 19 is extremely narrow, causing numbness in toes. Please ASICS, return to the design of the 15's 16's or 17's. - Signed, a loyal customer who is left without options.

cut shorter than previous Nimbus models. Would need at least 1/2 size larger. Sadly have to return.

I purchased several Asics shoes. In the past, they always fit perfectly right out of the box. The last few pairs have not been good and this pair was the worst yet. The shoes no longer run true to size...they have been smaller and more narrow in the toe box. Even the "wide" width are now too narrow. Very disappointed in Asics. They used to make great shoes.

I used to love Asics, but with every model change, this shoe has just gotten worse and worse. It's tight! Way too narrow. The shoe box pinches. I was getting blisters on the ends of my toes, which had never happened before. It changed my running style and my entire left leg was compromised. I just switched to the Brooks Glycerins - ran 12 miles in them to break them in lol. No blisters, no squished toes and super comfortable. No more Asics for me.

Terrible shoes, I'm typically a huge asics fan but I wore these for my 12 hour work shift and ended up getting blisters.

The last few pairs of Asics I have received have greatly lacked in quality. After about 6 weeks, they are already starting to get a hole in the toe! I just had to buy another pair and they feel cheap as well.
I have had many pairs of Asics and these are not up to par with any of the others. My daughter even asked me if I bought a super cheap pair because they don't even compare to the pairs I have bought in the past. They also feel cheap. I think I am sadly going to have to steer clear of Asics from now on.

I already own this shoe and was happy to get a new pair. Was upset by the fact that I ordered this one and the blue version and got a 7.5 size shoe instead of my size 8.. Really really upset.. But these pair were fine. I just can't give the original 5* because my order was wrong.

I was VERY upset when I received the two shoes I ordered. I ordered this color and the grey one because I own the grey already and they are perfect for me. But I was super excited to get this blue one! Only they sent me a size 8 box and a 7.5 shoe... Really really not happy. The only reason I don't ask for a full refund is because they fit my mother so I gave them to her. But I am so angry to have spent the $200 with this store to get one pair of shoes out of it. I'm not shopping here again.

These shoes are horrible! I ordered them a size larger than normal because of it being a new to me brand. They were way too small and ungodly uncomfortable. I have never been more disappointed by a pair of shoes. I will never buy this brand again!

Ordered these in wide width and they barely fit. These are most certainly a smaller width shoe even in wide. They also didn't fit well with my arch supports,my foot barley fit in the tiny space left.

Runs short. I normally wear 11.5 in this brand. The quality of this style has not been the same since the Nimbus 16. The toe box is too wide for a narrow foot.

I have a really old pair of Gel Nimbus I got in Foot Locker many years ago. Most cushioned comfy, arch support sneaker I'd had in a long time. Since then, I have ordered Asics, such as this one above. Definitely smaller toe box, narrower, smaller than former size. Not nearly as comfy as the original Gel Nimbus. ASICS: Read the reviews and go back to the roomier original shoe. Your new structure is cheaper and not as hospitable. Don't like them.
