I have had many shoes including Asics in the past. I have a wide foot and these are the best fitting and most comfortable tennis shoe I have had in a very long time. They will be on my buy again list for next year.

Very comfortable sneakers, I have a wide foot these come in wide & I almost felt not wide enough, but exchanged for a half size bigger, and they fit nice. They took a day to break in, and now they are perfect!

Ran half a size smaller compared to my last pair of Asics. Definitely need the wide for my problem feet (large bunions on both feet).

Ultra cushioned and supportive. This is the most cushioned foot bed in a running shoe. I've tried all the best brands on the market. Better than the Asics cumulus. This is a neutral shoe. Overpronators should look at the Gel Kayano which has more built up arch support, but it's not as cushioned. I wear the Nimbus with my thin custom orthotics underneath the foot bed and it's perfect for me. The toebox is a little more snug than the Asics Cumulus but the fabric stretches nicely within a few days to allow more room for your toes. I usually wear a size 9 in the Cumulus but I went up to a 9.5 in the Nimbus. I get compliments on the beautiful blue and purple color. It looks exactly as pictured. I wear this shoe all day 7 days a week to deal with foot pain from early onset arthritis and chronic tendinitis. It's the more comfortable shoe I've found.

Really like these shoes. Recent trouble with Achilles tendinitis and these are comfortable. Glad I ordered half size larger, though. Been wearing Asics brand for several years and these were definitely shorter, like the colors too.

Great shoe if you suffer from plantar fasciitis. Excellent cushioning and support. Purchased a 10W (my normal shoe size is a 9.5W)and it fits well. I use it for walking, intervals class, and general workouts (I'm not a runner) and it is now my favorite shoe. My previous favorite shoe for same activities was the Newton Momentum, but it has too much flexibility for the foot with plantar fasciitis, though I still rotate it in occasionally. The Gel-Nimbus 18 is extremely comfortable and the toe box on the Wide is fine for my wide foot (though not as good as the Newton Momentum).

I have been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus for 12-hour nursing shifts for several years, beginning with the 12 model (which I loved!). The 18 model has great support and is probably the most comfortable since the 12. I will definitely buy again. I highly recommend Zappos!

I have been running in these shoes for years. For high arches there is no better running shoe. Wide width fits orthotics well for me. Medium width better without orthotics.

I have a high arch & posterior tibial tendonitis and my current athletic shoes were causing me so much pain I was limping. I ordered a number of shoes on Zappos and found Gel-Nimbus to be the best. I use them for walking and the gel cushions my foot and they provide good lateral support. My heel stays in place and my orthotics fit fine in the shoe. I love these shoes so much that I'm going to buy a 2nd pair to keep in my suitcase since I travel every week.

Love the highly cushioned support. Tried lots of other brands. Cushioning doesn't get better than this. I use them for step.

Awesome! Comfortable from the start. I have painful neuropathy in my feet and these are both soft and supporting. Love the color!

Love it. 7N fits like it should. Toe box is not big and wide and ugly. Looks great with jeans. And so padded - wonderful. I am short so I like the extra height too.

I am pleased with these shoes. I have ordered Nimbus from Zappos for the last eight years and have always worn a size 9. Well, after returning several pairs of 9s I figured that I would try a 9½. Go up half a size people! I wish there were more colors to choose from.

width and overall size fits smaller than what you are typically used too buying. needed a full size larger

This is the 2nd pair of Gel-Nimbus I've had and they are the best! I'm on my feet all day on a cement floor and the heel cushion is amazing. If you want style and comfort these are the ones.

This shoe feels slightly smaller than other Asics that I've had in the past. My toes feel somewhat cramped. When buying this shoe, I would buy a half size larger than you normally wear.

These are even cushier than my other running shoes. I am not a runner, but need the extra cushioning since I have narrow feet with little volume (top to bottom). I use Orthopedic insoles in these, so can't confirm the ache support, but I do work in a warehouse environment and am on my feet for many hours at a time and these are comfortable. As far as the true to size, they may be a 1/2 size small, but that could be due to my insert.

When wearing them for walking long distance, my heals would rub and I would get terrible blisters. I did a heal lock when lacing and that helped.

I like them. They are comfortable, suitable for work.

These shoes were a D width, and they'd be great for those with "normally wide" feet and no bunions!. Unfortunately, because my feet are so wide, they were a little snug and rubbed a bit on my bunions and slipped a bit at the heel. (I think Asics also run small, so if you usually get a size 8, get a size 9 instead.) I had tried on an ASICS Gel-Numbus 19 size 9M at a store, and they were very comfortable and had a great gel cushioning, but they were not wide enough (I had to try a 9 rather than my normal 8). At $160 they were also too expensive. I saw the Gel Nimbus 18 here, so decided to try them after reading the reviews.

I absolutely love these shoes!! My old pair of Asics Gel Extreme 33 had finally given out and I needed another comfortable, eye-catching pair so I was happy to see that these Nimbus 18s came in bright bold colors! A friend of mine has been raving about her Nimbus 18s and I decided to take the plunge and get a pair. I was not disappointed! I find them super comfortable (especially the padding around the ankle) and I get lot of compliments on the funky yellow color. Very happy with this purchase!

This is my second pair. I like the breathability and the fact that it fits my narrow feet. It unfortunately tends to fall apart a little sooner than I'd like but it's still a great shoe.
