After loving 311 skinny I ordered the same size 26w30l. Oddly, these were way too tight and long. Not sure if it is the style or just mismarked.

After wearing the same lower rise Levi's for years, the Levi's 314 Shaping Straight jeans were just what the doctor ordered! I normally wear lower rise jeans and at work, they just don't give me the coverage I need in the back. The 314s have a nice amount of stretch, but not so much that they crawl in any which way, pinch, or look painted on. Love the comfortable fit and classic look; can't wait to own them in every wash available!!!

This pair of levi jean is very comfortable. The waist is high so you cover what is supposed to be. In my opinion, this jean would be perfect if the thigh area is slightly less relaxed. It looks kind of baggy. I think i will exchange it to a shaping bootcut. But you cannot beat the comfort with this jean!!

I haven't worn Levi's in years because they used to be so unstylish. Wow! What a great surprise I found in these jeans. Very comfortable amount of stretch. Enough substance that my shredder thighs won't destroy them in a few months. Wish I had waited for the darker blue color. The worn blue is a medium blue.

I've been wearing these for 3 months and I still love them. The only problem is they're a touch too short. I'm under 5'3" and have average length legs. Wish they were 1/2 to 1" longer.

These are my favorite jeans. They feel like they are made for me. I am 5'5", 133 lbs, have a big booty and large thighs with a smaller waist, and the 28s are great. They do come up pretty high--right below my belly button--but that's why they are so flattering. I have gotten many compliments. The Worn Blue is super soft and not too stretchy.

Out of the box comfort and great fit. Comfortable at waist and not crazy tight through thighs as most designer jeans tend to be. These are great every day jeans that you will enjoy wearing. One thing - the worn blue were very comfortable. I also got the darker blue and while the fit was the same, the jeans are a little scratchy. I am hoping a couple of washings will fix this.

I purchased the Worn Blue as well as the Blue. I found the Worn Blue slightly tighter but still fit well. I also went up a size but checked the size chart for hip size and that was where my measurement falls. I really like them and they fit like a higher price jean that I currently own.

Great fit for the first hour. Then the pants stretched so that I had to keep pulling them back up all day long.

Please bring back "Levis 512 perfectly slimming straight leg jeans?" Perfect stretch and good weight denim. Did I also mention reasonably priced? Lately, I've noticed that most denim jeans aren't the real "denim" that I'm accustomed to. They seem almost "paper" thin and don't have decent weight. Love the style and look of these jeans, but 2 negatives - as you wear them, they stretch out a LOT, and they are really pretty high waisted - not mid-rise. Wish I had not bought 2 pairs and washed them first, because I would have liked to exchange for a smaller size.

Not like 512s and the sizes are inconsistent. As a fan of Levi's 512 straight jeans, I was hoping to find a replacement since they tout these jeans as having a similar fit. Wrong! These jeans are much tighter through the thigh than my 512s and very unflattering to those of us who need a little camouflage in the thigh area. I tried them on at the same time as my 512s to compare. The thigh area is way too narrow on these 314s. A straight-leg jean should de-emphasize the thigh with a little extra room. These fit more like a skinny or boot cut in the thigh area, which emphasizes the thigh. Ugh. Also, I ordered two pairs in the same size but different colors. These supposedly identical jeans were very different in size. The lighter blue pair was so small they wouldn't even go on. They seem to be a full size smaller than the dark blue pair, and the dark pair was tighter than my 512s in the same size.

Best jeans I have ever purchased. Since I was a young girl, I haven't found jeans that fit me so beautifully. Have to buy more!

When the 512 jeans were discontinued, I decided to try the 314 per your recommendation. Wow, these are fantastic fitting! The fabrication of the worn blue is superb, much better than any of the 512's. The hip and thigh fit is perfectly snug, preventing riding down. I do wish they were a bit higher in the rise, though. A lower rise gives the illusion of shorter legs. I dislike belts and removed the belt loops to eliminate waist bulk. I'm in my 60's and these definitely are not "mom" jeans. I wear a 27, same as I did in the 512s. They are so figure flattering, I'll be back for more!

They were just as described. They stretch a pretty good amount around the waist with a few days of wear but not to the point of being too baggy- definitely less stretch than their other shaping jeans. Even though the cotton content was about the same, my darker pair hold the shape better than the lighter. The lighter pair also are narrower at the ankle for inexplicable reasons.

I have looked everywhere for a comfortable pair of jeans that come to the waist and now I have found them. These are so comfortable and look great.

I love these jeans. I original ordered them in the darker blue size 30. I loved them so much, I ordered a second pair in the lighter color. I agree with what a few others have said, for some reason, I had to go up to the next size in this color.

The waist is gapping, and they are constantly shimmying down. I really miss the Perfectly Slimming 512 Skinny Leg! These also feel rather rubbery, not jeans-like.

I found these to fit to high up on my waist making them uncomfortable on me. I'm high waisted though, so this won't be a problem for most women. I didn't notice any particular slimming effect. They do fit close to the body and the waist didn't gap which almost always is an issue for me.

These jeans are super comfortable. They have the perfect amount of stretch and are not too heavy. They have the right amount of flexibility to hit the dance floor. I ended up going down a size depending on the color/fabric.

These 314 shaping straight leg jeans are not very similar to the style of my favorite, Levis Perfect Waist Straight leg jeans as Levis advertised them. I ordered a short 4, and they were too long, way too stretchy, the waist was too high for me, and way too baggy at the calf. Please don't stop making Perfect Waist for these 314s. The Levis with the 99% cotton are the best jeans. Just enough stretch. Back they go. THANKS, Zappos, you are the best.

These are great everyday, house/yard-work jeans and priced so well that you do not mind wearing them to walk the dogs! Higher rise than the low-slung skinnies. These are practical and comfortable. It is nice that they come in two lengths.

Love these jeans, the fit is good, hides the muffin top a little, and the fabric texture is like real cotton denim. With its reasonable price, what's not to love?
