I bought the 314 Levis and am not impressed. I wanted jeans that didn't stretch, these did not fit the bill. They are very stretchy and high waisted. Looking for some "real" Levis like the quality jeans I used to buy in the '80s...these just don't measure up. They run big, I'm 5'4" and 135#'s. Ordered a 28 waist and they're bunchy and loose...if you're a child of the '80's buy the 714 straight...

Was so disappointed when the 512's were discontinued. I reluctantly went ahead and purchased a pair of these. I'm in between a size 8 and 10. I'm 5'5" and I ordered the 30 X 30's. The fit is perfect, length is perfect and these have now become my everyday jean that I grab and go in. I like the weight of the fabric, it seems not too heavy or too light. Well stitched and finished. Can't beat these for a great pair of fit and feel and price for everyday jeans.

55 yr. old, 5'6", 145 lbs. (curvy figure - smaller waist, fuller thighs) wear 30 reg. This style is for us curvy gals that are sick of the gap at the waist. It's still a little snugger in the knee than I prefer, but it's the best fitting jean in the Levi brand (replaces curvy straight - an oxymoron) pretty well. The length (reg. 32") is fine up to 5'6", but taller or longer legged gals might want to go with the 'tall'. LOTS of spandex - very forgiving! Deep color seems to be holding well - but I wash them inside out. Unlike many pants/jeans with spandex, these hold their shape for many wearings.

Extremely comfortable jeans - don't stretch out and look baggy. Luv them!!!

I can't believe it, but these fit me like a GLOVE. I am 5'5", ~140 lbs. and athletic. I bought the size 28 (I think that roughly translates into a size 6). The relaxed fit at the ankles is great and a nice contrast to how these fit the rest of my body.These jeans have Elastine in them to give them some stretch. As other reviewers have noted, they are longer than what is listed in the description, which I like. I am looking forward to a long relationship with these babies.

As reading the reviews I see I should have ordered these two sizes larger for them to have fit. Love the high waist love the thin material hate to have to actually attempt guessing sizes until we get this right.

These are not true to size or length. I could not wear them without seamstress alterations.

Great fitting jeans! They remind me of the first Levi jeans that I wore back in the '60's except that they have stretch. I love them!

I love these jeans. They are are great fit, they have some stretch so you feel like they're nicely fitted but you can still move without pulling. I like them just as much as my $150 jeans. They are just as comfortable and I live in my jeans.

I ordered these instead of the 512's that I can't find anymore. Always get upset when I find a pair of jeans that fit well and I like, thn they discontinue them. I ordered these instead and was pleasantly surprised. I like them and the fit is great. I wear the same size I did in the 512's. I highly recommend these in place of the 512'. You won't be disappointed!

Very nice fit, held shape and wash well. Only one minor complaint - fit not consistent from one color to the next.

I ordered these in my usual Levi's size and they fit great. Although these are not the most fashionable skinny jeans, I like them. I wanted a comfortable straight leg to wear for everyday chores.

this color fits differently (bigger in waist) than the other colors. will return.

To anyone ordering any of the Levi's perfectly slimming 314 (previously the 512 series) don't order from anyone but Zappo's. They are the same fit as the old 512 series and fabric. I ordered several pair from Amazon(8)none of them fit,sizing way off and the little red Levi's tag on the back pockets were only red tags..None said Levi's and all the writing inside was Chinese. Couldn't understand any of it!!

Overall nice quality jean with stretch. They are lightweight and perfect for Tucson's year-round warm weather. They run on the small side. I usually wear a 29 waist and bought these in a 30. Holding them up to my 29s for comparison, they are the same. I love Levis.

My wife has always had problems finding jeans online that fit without trying them on. I took a chance and purchased these and the fit her prefect! She loves the fit.

The 300 line of Levis are the best! Great fit that hugs your curves and shows off all the right areas.

The Levi's womens 314 shaping straight is great! I love how it's a straight cut and yet still gives me an illusion of a "bum"! I've found that there's a certain cut of jeans that really flatters my backside, and the 314 is one of them. The fabric is stretchy, so no need to go up a size, maybe a size smaller would be advisable. The waistband is at a comfortable height, not too high for me. The dark indigo and with a little lightening at the thigh is a classic. The fabric is a little thin for colder weather though, but light, so perfect for temperate to cool weather. The price is reasonable too! The 314 is my kind of straight jeans!
