Boots fit well, I sized up to be able to fit a thicker sock. Styling was as expected. Matte black and plain. Was pleased that these didn't have a rubbery smell to them. I am returning these for a boot with more traction. These are basically smooth on the bottom and I can see myself wiping out on slick, raincovered streets. Not a great feature in a boot designed for rain!

Great style, very comfortable, larger than I expected.

I never order wide shoes, but when I originally ordered these in 9m they were wayyy too narrow. I returned for the 9w and they fit better. I recommend wearing high socks with these, because the ankle part is pretty rough. My pants don’t really tuck in, so socks are a must. Very stylish for light rainy days where you don’t need knee high rain boots.

I'm an 8.5 and the 9 just fit so size up! Also the ankle area is quite uncomfortable. I dont know if that changes as your wear it but you definitely have to wear with pants of tights so it doesnt rub against your leg!

I bought this boot in both a 9M and a 10M. I'm a true 10M and neither of these sizes fit. The 9 was incredibly snug and uncomfortable in the toe box; there was no way I'd be able to wear it in. On the contrary, the 10 was too big to the point that my heel slipped out as I walked, even with thick socks. I really wanted these to work as I live in the Pacific Northwest where water resistant/waterproof shoewear is crucial... and these were actually very cute and minimal to match my style. Nevertheless, it wasn't meant to be! I really wish these came in half sizes the bigger the boots get. Overall, these boots are practical and super cute but the sizing just didn't work for me (and they weren't the most comfortable in general -- but I guess that's what you get with rubber boots!) I just ordered Sperry's Maya Belle Leather Chelsea instead and while they aren't waterproof, I'm hoping they do the trick! If I really need a pair of proper rainboots, I may go with the Madewell brand for that instead.

Everyone has this shoe. Srsly, I've counted like 15 ppl wearing them since I bought them. But whatever they make sense and they're cute

I normally wear 8 but since most of these reviews stated these shoes are narrow I bought the 8W. When I tried them on however they felt loose and rubbed on my inner ankle. I spoke to the customer service rep and decided to order the 8M which ended up feeling much better. I didn’t find the 8M narrow and I don’t consider my feet to be narrow. These are stylish while protecting you from squishy feet in the rain.

This is the second pair of Sam Edelman shoes that I have purchased and the second time that they ran small by about half a size. So perhaps that's how the brand runs. The style of these boots is terrific and just what I've been looking for, so I'm going to try the next size up and hope they're not too large. Normally I wear an 8M, and I've now ordered a 9W. The boots aren't leather, so I also don't know how much they'll stretch and soften up. They are quite stiff initially, but I'm hopeful. They really look great on!

I have wide foot and high arch. these were cute and very comfortable which is hard for me to find! I am sending back because I want them for the rain and they dont have a non skid tread. I was slipping on my wood floors! bummer.

I ordered a size 10 and the length was almost like an 11. My feet would slip out in the back during each step. Seems like basic, chic, nice quality boots with littke arch support. Would have kept them of they were my size but I'm guessing a 9 will be too tight (the upper portion for the toes probably wont be wide enough). For those who want more arch support there are other options.

these are very cute and I can get away with wearing them to court on rainy days. I walk an average of 4 mi a day though, and these really aren’t meant for that much walking. the sole rides up and my baby toes blister after too much walking. wear tall socks or the mouth of the shoe will rub against your ankle uncomfortably. I like them, just can’t wear them for too long.

I’m a 7W and I ended up ordering an 8W because they were so tight! Overall a great boot, however the stitching at the top of the boot rubbed my skin raw...these could have done with some kind of lining or taping around the top of the shoe so you could wear these without long socks to pad against chafing.

I am so sad to return these, I bought the 10W, length is perfect and just barely fit the width. I am not that wide. Also the ankle elastic was much tighter than the rubber part so as I walked around the house it was rubbing my ankle a lot and new I would be uncomfortable. Other than that I loved the style and purpose of this shoe, so sad.

I loved the style and they're solid shoes. I just had to return them because I have a wide toebox. For anyone with more normal feet, this would be a fantastic shoe.

I'm a typical 8.5, maybe with slightly wide feet so I order the 8, 8 wide, 9, and 9 wide. NONE of them fit. They were all extremely tight! I found the 8s too short and the 9s too long. Sadly, did not work for me as they don't come in half sizes BUT they are super cute and sleek. If you have a narrow foot, get these!

I am a pretty consistent 8 and these were no different. They don’t have a wide toe box but that wasn’t enough to cause me to go up a size. I have a very average width foot and the medium width worked just fine for me with room for a sock. Now what socks to wear are the issue. If you were wearing they with full length pants, no problem, wear a higher sock. If you were wearing them with cropped pants or a dress, the socks are an issue. These boots do rub on the back of your leg and it would not be comfortable for any length of time with out something between the boot and your skin. So I have yet to figure out what sock to wear without it ruining the cute ankle length. I am keeping them though. I saw lots of girls wearing these boots in NYC on a rainy weekend and they must have solved that dilemma so I will too.

Overall the style was very nice. Easy to slip on, a bit of a tug to slip off. The only negative about these rain boots was that the insole of mines started to detach a bit and shifted back.

Liked but didn't love. A bit difficult to get on and off & the part around my ankle kept hitting my ankle while I walked (meaning it's stiff). Otherwise, these are super cute and amazingly stylish. I returned them because I purchased several pairs and just didn't choose these.

Looks just like a regular chelsea boot, but rubber. Ankle area definitely really slim. Takes some effort to put on and squeeze skinny jeans into. No real insole or support to speak of, so I'll be trying to put in a thin one but I'm concerned they won't fit as well. Overall super cute and low priced, so I think I'll be keeping them.

These are super cute! I was looking for a rain boot I could leave on through the work day, and these totally work for that. Based on reviews, I ordered them in wide (for the first time ever) and I’m really glad I did, because even the wide feels a tiny bit narrow.

These are some super stylish rain boots. They honestly pass for a leather Chelsea boot if you’re not right up next to them! As someone with a slightly wider foot, I ordered both my normal size in both the M and W widths after reading the reviews. The M definitely felt a little snug so I kept the W. Probably could have sized-down with the W version but they work. I wore these to the airport, on a cross-country flight, and around town and they are pretty comfy. The lack of arch support makes my feet hurt a little after several hours of walking but nothing unmanageable!

So cute for a reasonable price! I’m usually in between a size 6.5 and 7 but after reading the reviews I decided to order a 7 and they fit comfortably. Con: I’ve only had the opportunity to wear these a handful of times and the one side of elastic is already stretching out.

I ordered this in regular and wide even though I have never worn a wide foot. The regular was too narrow and the wide was snug. Challenging to get on, but would definitely keep the water out. Easy to slip orthotics into the boots. I would not buy the W if I needed a W width
