Overall, I'm happy with this boot, but have some minor issues with it. For some reason, the foam sole on the inside isn't glued down and it slips all over and rides up underneath my foot towards the back of the shoe as I walk. I found it weird no one else mentioned this. It's not something I've seen before in rainboots. They also go up a bit higher than I'd want, and even though I wear skinny jeans they look awkward both tucked in to the boot and with the boot tucked under the pant leg. When I tucked the boot under the pants, the back of the boot was rubbing against my leg and irritated my skin quite a bit. I don't find them as flattering as I'd hoped because of this issue - maybe it's just my body but I feel like they make my legs look shorter and stumpy :( I'm still giving it a solid review because those are really minor points - it still serves its purpose as a rainboot perfectly fine. My feet were kept dry on a couple of moderately rainy days. I wear a 9 and it fit me perfectly. I love that they are lightweight as opposed to my much heavier, higher rainboots.

I wear a size 8.5, and sized up as suggested by other users. I found them to be too large! Will be returning, unfortunately.

These are a really cute and reasonably priced shoe! I have normal (knee-high) rain boots, but I wanted something to wear on drizzly days. These are the perfect thing, but when it *did* start pouring, I got a little wetter than I'd anticipated, since the rain pretty easily gets inside the show from the opening on top. For light rain, though, these are the way to go--they were stylish enough that I didn't feel self-conscious wearing them all day for several days in a row. Lastly, they don't have much traction, so don't try to wear them in snow or sleet.

I love the look of these cute rain boots but wish they were more comfortable. I started developing hot spots after wearing them a couple of hours and would have had blisters if I hadn't taken them off.

LOVE these! They fit well even after I added an orthotic for arch support. My only negative would be that if you step into a deeper puddle, or it's raining especially hard (like here in Northern CA it does!) then the side gussets can soak through and wet your socks a bit.

Nice looking low rise rain boot. Great if you have narrow feet. You might want to order a size up if you don't have narrow feet.

Listen to the reviews and size up! I’m usually a size 7.5 with a normal width, but I got an 8W and they fit perfectly! They don’t have any support, but I put some arch inserts in my pair and that did the trick. The only complaint that I have is that the tab on the back of the shoes that’s used for pulling them on irritates the back of my calves and causes my jeans/ leggings to ride up and exposes my bare skin to the tab. Other than that, just size up and add inserts and you’ll love these shoes!

The material is very firm and hurt my feet

Not as comfortable as I'd like. The boots feel stiff and it's hard to walk in comfortably. It feels like if I walked in these for a long day, I would get lots of blisters, esp on the back of the ankle. The stiffness makes the boots look really big and clunky on me. I tested the elastic fabric on the side and it is not waterproof. It is water resistant, but the water soaked through within a minute in the water.

Darling boots but alas they were too narrow for my foot.

I have very narrow feet and ankles so I thought this shoe would be fine for leggings and skinny jeans but it’s so so narrow that even my black leggings slouch when I wear these. I love the look but also, they’re not lined so you can’t wear them in weather under like 55 degrees .

I wanted to love this boot, but unfortunately had to return. I have high arches and the boot wasn’t high enough to accommodate that, so was very uncomfortable. Cute design and seems good quality - just wish it fit comfortably.

Lovely boots but narrow. I ordered my usual 8W, and they fit like an 8R. They’re also too loose in the heel area.

These are really just what my daughter wanted but WAY too narrow, even in the wide width.

These looked so cheap and plastic-y, and were super stiff and uncomfortable on my ankles - would only work with socks and sometimes I want to wear with tights or ankle socks which would be very uncomfortable. I ended up returning. I thought they would look more like leather, not plastic!

Good quality, but low on comfort, and not as expected from this brand, mainly due to lack of arch support.

Style is super cute! I wish my feet fit in these. I typically wear 6.5 - 7 size shoes. I have really wide feet (think wide, duck feet) so I got the Wide Size 7. These were still too narrow for me. They were too tight when I wore them with medium-thickness socks. However, the length (from the back of the foot to the toe) was fine.

I am typically a 7.5 and I ordered these in an 8, medium width. They fit fine, a little roomy but that’s to be expected since they are a half size bigger than what I normally wear. I was able to fit my foot in them just fine (no width issues like other reviews). They are super cute! My only issue is that after wearing them for 2 minutes around the house I had scrapes on my ankles from the top and back tag of the boot. This wouldn’t be an issue if you wear tall socks with them or if your jeans stay tucked into the boot but I bought these for a warm and rainy climate so I’m not looking to wear big socks with them (and my jeans kept bunching up). I decided to return.

I am generally an 8W so after reading reviews I ordered an 8W and a 9W due to width complaints. As expected, the 8W fit in length but was way too tight in width. Since these were so inexpensive on sale and I love the red color, I’ll keep the 9W despite them being a bit too long for me. The width was much more comfortable in this larger size.

I'm normally a 5.5W with "duck feet" (think wide forefoot and narrow heel), and I had to size up a 1/2 size in 6W. The forefoot still felt cramped in the toe box, but a 6.5 and 6.5W were too long for me. However, I needed rain boots that looked professional in the office within my budget, so I kept Sam Edelman Tinsley in 6W in hopes that it would stretch over time. Result? They ultimately stretch, but not by much. To fellow duck feet owners: They're tolerable for short periods of time, but definitely not for the entire day. The fabric of the insole ripped away over the course of the year, but it doesn't make a huge difference in terms of comfort or discomfort. Pros: This is a stylish Chelsea boot and it *will* protect your feet against light to moderate rain. You may need to waterproof them with a spray against heavier rain, but I have not tested this. Medium width owners should be fine with the Tinsley, but I would advise fellow duck feet owners to weigh this model against other options for professional-looking rain boots.
