I usually wear a 14, but could barely get these on. Also, I ordered WIDE but they felt very narrow, especially in the toe box, which is where I need extra width.

I have purchased this shoe three times. Overall it is comfortable and fits well, although the 'moderate' arch support option for this review is minimal and I use an insole to help arch support. Giving it 2 stars because on the second pair the stitching came apart at the toe and the leather split (left shoe in one image) and after 3 months this latest pair split where the leather is joined to the sole at the front (right shoe in the other photo) different pairs in each photo. I want to buy some more, but after 3 months of use with the latest pair, I question the value. I do not use them every day and the sole is only half used.

I expected these to feel more like an athletic shoe. They have little support and feel flat.

I bought the 623 trainer twice before, they were perfect. The new style + color was different and I got the wrong size and had to return them. The NB 608 is what I bought

There are virtually arch support in these shoes. So if you have any arch in your foot, you will need to purchase aftermarket insoles before these shows will work for you.

I have another pair of these New Balance MX623v3. I love the shoe, but my last pair was a 4E which was a little too wide. I tries the 2E and they are a little too tight. New Balance used to have a 3E which I was going to order, but they stopped making them. Seems as though they are following other manufacturers and consolidating their sizes to increase profitability. As much as I like this shoe, I will be forced to look for another manufacturer. I had purchased a pair of New Balance Men's 411v1 shoes recently, the X-wide width. It felt good when I wore them, until I started my walking routine. Then they were extremely tight where my toe got black & blue from them. I don't know why they insisted on changing their sizing. I will not buy this shoe again either.

The problem with the shoes I bought via the internet was the right shoe was a 10 and the left was a 10 1/2.

I bought this shoe as one that I could wear for both work and play, but the width was too narrow for my foot and they did not have any wider in my size available so I had to return it.

I was very disappointed in the quality and fit of the shoe. The leather felt like plastic and the shoe felt very cheaply made. I guess you get what you pay for but ordering shoes online is difficult. Thanks to Zappos though for making their return process so easy.

Not breathable at all. The sole is terrible to clean. Dirt stuck in it really bad. Tongue had sharp synthetic edges. I had to cut them with scissors. I bought another pair of similar shoes at the same time and it was waaaaay much better.

I use these for in-home workouts 1-2 times a week. After about 6 months of use, near the base of my little toe the side of the shoe started separating from the sole. It looks like the Suede couldn't hold up as well as my prior MX1012 which were still in great shape after 18 months of training 3+ times a week. Time to find another model....

It seems NB resized this model. It was previously a perfect fit. This latest version is a full size narrower. Go figure.

i usually buy 624's but wanted something with a bit more color. they look great and run true to size but compared to my 624's they really lack arch support. will look for a supplemental support to add but really NB fix this problem.

New Balance appears to have changed their definition of 4E in the last several years. Each of the last 3 pairs I've tried, including the exact model of my current well-fitting 4E shoes, have been almost as narrow as standard width shoes. I'll be switching brands from now on.

I contacted the local New Balance store for guidance on what size to order and was told to order a 91/2 2E. W A YYYY TOO big.

It looks nice but is not as sturdy or comfortable as other NB shoes I have purchased. The extra wide isn't. I tried it because it was less expensive than others but it doesn't hold up as well as others that cost more. I guess I need to pay more to get a better shoe. What a shame!

Just put them on for the first time but wouldn't want to go anywhere wearing them, they squeak like they are wet on hardwood floors, hope it goes away so I can take them out of the house

Less than 4 months after purchasing these shoes my big toe wore through the suede. The rest of the shoe is in good shape. Toe area should be reinforced to prevent easy wear.

my usual size is 10, but had to get a 9.5 in this shoe. Nice styling and the suede is decent, but the pair I received where noticeably asymmetrical. One shoe had one of the side panels cut too wide, which made the lacing on that shoe very narrow compared to the other shoe. That should not have passed quality control. Returned them.

I bought a pair thinking they would be an improvement over the 623. At first they were comfortable but the heel seemed a bit wide. After a couple of weeks the entire shoe was wide to the point that my feet were so loose in the toe box that I developed painful corns on the little toes of both feet. That never happened with any shoes I ever wore before.

Bought these at the same time I purchased the 623v3 trainer (leather). These seem to run wide, just like the 623v3 leather. Disappointing that NB can't seem to make shoes that fit correctly whenever they bring out a new version of an existing model.

Size and fit are just right but I'm giving these shoes 1 star today because the soles completely fell off and my son had only worn them 3 months.
