Too tight all around, really signifies New Balance's steep decline in quality and all around sizing.
New Balance has clearly forgotten how to make walking shoes.
Starting with the year the 928 came out replacing the great 927 New Balance has jumped the shark.
Such a shame when a company just gives up and decides that their customers are idiots and will buy anything with a once great name on it.
Well, we're not idiots, the CEO is.

This is a terrible shoe. One size larger than marked and no structure. Sort of like a giant hot dog bun on my foot.
But Zappos was wonderful as I kept returning shoes for one size less. Still did not fit at all

I ordered Extra Wide and the shoe is labeled that way, but it is definitely not the same as New Balance shoes I have bought previously. Holding it up to my current NB model, the shoe sole is obviously more narrow. Had to return. I have liked New Balance in the past, but something has changed in their sizing of the newer models. This has happened to me with another model also.
