I bought these for my husband who is a UPS driver. They definitely don't earn any cool points but he puts his orthotics in them and they fit quite well. They also aren't super expensive, which is good because he wears the shoes out after a few months. They've held up pretty well.

I wear this for walking indoors or on pavement. This shoe itself isn't bad, but I had to put in an insole. The included foam insole was just too thin and caused discomfort for me. I have rather flat feet.

Very comfortable and light weight. Good casual everyday look. I have very wide feet and these fit fine.

I've been wearing these and/or their predecessors for years. Good, solid, comfort in a walking shoe. Treated with silicone, they keep my feet dry in the Winter, which is the only season I wear shoes (sandals the rest of the year), and they keep my feet warm as well. I would recommend them heartily to anyone who needs a small amount of arch support, and a good solid walking shoe.

Usually wear new balance cross trainers, but caught these on sale and thought I'd give them a try. I wear a 4e width and these shoes fit exactly as advertised. Comfort was great. Only con is the mesh over the toe cap area in front... will be nice in the summer, but makes wearing the show in colder/wetter weather a no go. Are these $100 shoes? not really, but if you can pick them up for less than $30 they are well worth the price.

My old Asics were getting pretty worn. I had had excellent luck with New Balance previously, and this shoe was on sale, so I decided to go back to New Balance. As for appearance, while I think they look pretty good, I have to concur with the reviewer who suggested they are styled for older men. But, since I'm 57, their lack of "youthful" styling is not an issue for me. I wear shoes for comfort, and these shoes are some of the most comfortable I've ever had. I can walk for fairly long distances without fatigue or soreness, and my feet stay cool, which is sometimes difficult in the Florida climate where I live. I think this is an excellent shoe at an excellent price, and I will buy them again if they're still available when I need my next pair of shoes.

It is a very comfortable shoe and ideal for walking. I have had other NB in the past that were far too stiff on the ankle and tore them up. Not the case with this shoe. Could have some more styles to be a bit better. Why not have every shoe with just a black and white or all black option? Food for thought. Very nice shoe.

Very comfortable shoe. Plain black which is perfect for work. They are very squeaky though. I feel like I'm playing basketball everywhere I go. Something about the sole makes these shoes squeak on just about every smooth surface. The laces are far too long. They are about 56", and should be about 45".

I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable since I am an underpronator. I settled for this shoe because of the padding. I walk 10,000 steps a day and so far the shoe is OK. I will have to see how it holds up. I have noticed that New Balance usually known for their wider toe box has become problematic recently as many brands have. I also purchased Brooks Ghost 7 which are better suited for long walks or standing. These black NB will be fine for going out or church. My ratings reflect new shoes since I don't know how they will perform.

Definitely runs large, wear a size 15 normally, size 14 is what ended up fitting like I would expected the 15 to fit. Shoes were narrow even though I ordered the wide, seems that they only get wider in the toe box, which seems odd. Regardless didn’t find the fit to be very comfortable, returned them.

Could not even lace up. When my husband put his foot into it, his toes were crammed to the end. Mis-sized?

Shoe significantly narrower than usual 4E I buy from new balance. Comparing old to this style shows a sole 1/2 inch narrower in the mw411v2. Returned.

My husband always wears a 9. These fit him like a 10.

I'm still waiting to try them on. I may return them

Very cushy heel. Very little ankle support because of the mesh uppers and a low cut under the ankle. I needed more cushion at the ball of my foot. The mesh top allows more room for toes. It did come in my required 4E width.

a good value, but......they are about as bland as can be in the looks dept.. Even so, I like them. They fit true to New Balance usual sizing.

Nice styling; runs large; poor arch;inferior material

New Balance diabetic 4E with sl-2 last traits usually accommodate my deformed forefeet plus custom orthotic and extra pad. These did not.

Thought I'd try out a more standard brand that everyone else was wearing and I don't like it. I was surprised because it's a running shoe. Not as comfortable as some other brands that are hikers and the aeration doesn't help with keeping moisture out or ventilation. I would go with a different model unless you are absolutely set on this one.

OK shoes, but they began to fall apart very quickly. The sole began separating from the shoe, and my foot wore a hole in the cloth on the side. I've had them for about four months and use them as a daily walker. I tried these instead of the Nikes I usually buy because of the rave reviews, but I will be sticking with Nike from here on out.

I found this shoe about 1/2 to 1 size too large. There was also excess space in the fore foot. The shoe appears to be cheaply made, and generally was too large for my size.

I bought these because of our uniform requirements at work, and because I hated the pair of Nike Air Monarchs I had before. Also, needing a wide shoe limits my choices somewhat. The good news: These New Balances are far and away more comfortable than the Nikes that came before them. The bad news: They only lasted half as long, and their failure was manifested by the upper separating from the sole, rendering them fit only for the trash can rather than the normal activities of retired shoes; i.e. mowing the lawn and painting the house. I'm disappointed, because they were comfortable and did fit well, but I won't be ordering them again.

2 months in, the shoes are falling apart. I love new balances, but this particular shoe is sub par quality
