Best boots ever! The zipper makes it easy to get in and out of, and you don't need to untie them. The leather is soft and these are very well made.

These are lovely, well-made boots with a nice, narrow ankle. Unfortunately, I found the footbed too narrow in the forefoot and too wide in the heel.

These are so comfortable and fashionable. One of the best pairs of boots ever! I am a US size 9 and bought the size 40. They fit perfectly. Don't hesitate to buy these boots. I shopped around and these are the best for style and comfort walking around the city.

I love, love, love this boot. Sadly, it is too narrow for me and I must return it. I was surprised, because I have other Taos shoes and they fit beautifully and are super comfortable.

I just got these and immediately fell in love with them. I wear a 7 and the 38 fits fine with a sock....without socks my foot moves around. Im not familiar with the european sizing. I have been searching for a good stylish combat boot for years but they never have good ones in stores. So happy I found zappos! I hope they last.....feel well made.

Wow. I never write reviews on products, but I REALLY like these boots! I got them as work boots, but it is important to me to still be stylish. I consider myself qualified boot connoisseur. I just got them so perhaps I may feel differently at some point, but they look well made, fit well, and my purpose intended.

Love these boots from the moment I opened the box. Fit perfectly, like a glove. Buying a second pair in black. I'm a size 7 and ordered them in a 38.

These boots have moderate arch support and are super comfortable. I also love how they look. My only complaint is that they make my feet sweat, which is not typical for leather. Maybe the footbed insert is not leather? I may remove it and put my own insert in. But, overall, these are great boots!

These boots are very comfortable. I find them true to size. I bought s bit larger because of other reviews but had to return for size 40 which I usually wear. The colors are lovely. I bought every color! No break in, instantly comfortable.

Love these boots! They look adorable with a cuffed jean. I love the look of the laces, but the zipper makes them easy-on, easy-off. Nice support. My feet and toes are more on the narrow side, so I'm not sure how they would fit someone with a squarer foot.

I really love these boots. Super comfy right out of the box. Haven't done a lot of walking in them yet but they run narrow which I love due to my long and narrow feet. I originally ordered the Teal, which are beautiful, but after spending a few days with them I really didn't think I would wear that color a lot. So I ordered the Camel instead which suits my tastes much better. I'm tall so I don't need much heel but these are perfect. I would definitely order another pair of these!

These boots were comfortable straight out of the box, no breaking in period. They also have just the right heel height for me-- they add a little height but are very comfortable. Best of all, the style is terrific. I bought the teal and I get compliments every time I wear them. I cannot say enough about these boots. Worth every penny.

The most comfortable shoes/boots!! This is my 2nd pair (I also have red!!) I walked MILES in these boots and my feet felt great!!! My sisters. My daughter. My mother. We all had to have them!

Stunning, gorgeous boots. Super soft leather yet very sturdy. Well made. Plenty of room in width and in toe box. Based on previous reviews, I ordered a 39 (8-8.5) when I normally would have ordered the 38. The 39 fits well with or without a sock. The violet color is scrumptious. I can see owning this boot in every color. Be aware that they are lined with a cozy, wintry fabric so probably not a warmer weather boot.

Absolutely beautiful boots!!! As other reviewers have said, they do feel a bit on the narrow side, but not to the degree that they are uncomfortable. The boots feel extremely well constructed. The leather is soft, the footbed is well cushioned, and the boots are easy to wear. I will be buying another color! Recommended!!

These boots are outstanding in every way! They were comfy straight off the bat! As an active tourist, I walked the streets of London and Oxford in these. Perfect. Water protection, great footbed, super attractive. I like the laces, which allows for my wide-ish foot and going from tights to light wool socks. Great colors. I've many compliments on them, even from strangers. I'll buy another pair in a different color.

Here I am in Florida, walking around in the new Taos Crave boots I bought today. The comfort, stability and support in these are amazing - no break in period needed after all! My boot's color is called violet but really it is a soft, rich burgundy. It is design, with the smooth leather/suede mix, visable stitching, stacked heel and rubber sole, is high quality and good looking. The side zip and front laces allow easy on and off and a perfect fit. The soft flannel-like linings and the (removable) insoles give them another layer of comfort. I ordered half a size up to accommodate a couple of pairs of heavy socks, and they fit comfortably. We are headed to Alaska shortly for our son's wedding. A winter wedding at the summit of Mt. Alyeska. Part of the service is outdoors. Hmm... should I toss my dress boots? The Craves are so fun and comfortable I just may wear them along with my long gown and faux mink... They might laugh at me. But I bet I would be the only one who could dance all night then go for a hike. Try these, you will love them !

Best purchase I've made in a long time. Completely comfortable from the first wear, really solid and yet not too heavy for all-day walking. The violet color is just gorgeous.

When I initially tried them on, they were not as comfortable as the other boots I tried (Cobb Hill Bethany), but they had a more stylish look with the stacked heel and details. I immediately loved how they looked with both jeans and dresses/leggings. The first day I wore them (with socks), I did get slight rubbing in the heel that would have led to a blister. However, after that day, they have been nothing but comfortable, provided that you can tolerate a slight heel like this. There is plenty of room in the toebox for my wide toes, but my narrow heel found comfortable in this boot in particularly because I could lace them tight. the side zipper makes them easy to take on & off.

The fit is spot on for toe space, they're warm, the heal is a perfect height. They're dressy enough for jeans, leggings or skirts. No breaking period. I can shop in them all day and my feet never feel tired. I get complements on my real color boots all the time! I'm considering the purple ones Very stylish, I highly recommend?

This boot has a beautiful color. It's designed for winter with a fuzzy interior. Super comfortable for walking all day.

I'm so happy with these boots. The fit is perfect and they were comfortable from the start--no need to "break them in slowly". They look and feel terrific.

I bought these as an alternative to Pikolinos of a similar style. These are very cool boots. The fit is true to size. The description is not quite right though - they are not leather lined, but lined in a fuzzy textile. I am not liking that as it is is hot. Sadly, these are going back.
