Love these boots! I have a hard time finding cute, comfortable shoes. These boots are so cute and comfortable.

I REALLY wanted to love this boot. I took a lot of time - did not want to make a rush decision - the left boot was so comfortable. Maybe it is my right foot - but there was something about the outer arch area of the footbed that would just make the outside of my right foot ache after a while. Give them a try - maybe this was just a fluke or maybe my foot. Crazy cute and comfy other than that right foot. sigh..... back to the search!

Zero break in time. Perfect fit. Comfortable from the second I put them on. I have over 40 pairs of boots and these instantly became my favorite. I bought the teal, and it does border on forest green, which is OK. They go with anything you would wear black with. Fantastic with jean shorts. Well built and solid. I already added two more colors to my cart. Well worth the money.

Oh man are these boots great! Just so gorgeous and comfy. I tried them on and haven't been able to take them off yet. I might sleep in them. This is my first pair of Taos boots and I am so impressed..if these were by Frye they would be nearly twice the price, but the Taos quality is as good or better than Frye's. Gorgeous leather, nice round toebox, easy on the back when walking and wonderful style and colors.. I have them in teal, btw. Oh, and as usual, Zappos is so fast to ship that it's almost creepy. I think there is a man standing in my bushes with all the shoes, because I ordered these at about 9pm last night and they were here by 1pm today. It practically defies the laws of physics. These boots are not cheap, but they are worth every penny, and, I think, very reasonably priced given the high quality. Get some right now!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!!! I am a boot girl. I own many different styles and brands. Taos are hand's down my favorite and the crave boot is by far my most favorite boot. I wish I could have in every single color. Be prapared if you buy these. You won't want to take them off.

Bought the red ones but they are not as pure a red as in the photograph. Shame because they are super-comfortable. But I wanted red not red-brown.

LOVE these boots. I have a VERY hard time finding boots with the right support that are wide enough for my feet. I've tried on so many in the stores, I thought I was crazy to order a pair of boots online. I fully expected to have to return them. Not so! They fit immediately. They are cozy, don't pinch or squeeze anywhere and they are very stylish. I need boots for rain, and they are perfect. The leather is really soft and supple. The grey boots are a little brownish, but that may be because they come with brown laces. They're actually a great color that could look grey, brown or green depending on the laces and what you wear with them.

I slipped one of these on at my desk after they were delivered, and it felt like a slipper! I have fussy feet, and need very comfortable shoes/boots. These are perfect. Ultra comfortable, even to do some walking in that first day I wore them, the side zipper makes them a breeze to put on, and they look great. I bought the teal ones and they are perfect with jeans. They are my very favorite boots ever!

These are my first pair of boots that are a bit taller. Love the lacing and zipper to get a perfect fit! They are very comfortable and can be worn all day long in the classroom or as a tourist. Love the color and variation in styling. So happy with these that I looked at other Taos styles.

Fantastic boots. I already own the blue ink and really wanted the grey. I had seen them in a local store and they had sold out in my size. So comfortable and stylish. Thinking about getting another color too. My size 8 foot looks really slim and smaller in this boot.

So comfortable out of the box. Sturdy but soft leather, rubber sole. I got the Bordeaux, sort of a dark purple brown, really pretty. They are lined with a fuzzy lining. Not a thick pile, just a thin soft lining that makes them a tiny bit warmer than plain leather. I usually wear an 8 in sneakers, a 7.5-8 in boots, and a 38 in Eu sized shoes. Got these in 38 and they fit perfectly. My feet are on the widish side of normal, and the width is just right through the toes. I have some jeans that are on the too short side, and with a cuff they go great with these boots.

I was nervous to order this item as I only buy wide shoes. I have high insteps, and wide floppy feet. I took a chance and ordered the 39. (I'm normally a size 8 wide.) Happy dance! Enough toe room, and I used a shoe stretcher to gently stretch the upper to fit my instep (it was pretty close to fitting anyway, with the laces at the top). It was the place just below where the laces begin that I stretched. I can wear them all day. The reason I took a chance is that I used to have a pair of Taos sandals that also surprisingly fit me without being wide. Seems like a good shoe company overall. This is a great boot. I ordered the teal color. I've been wearing these all week. Love.

I have wide duck feet and painful bunions from years of working on my feet in the service industry, so I was dubious as to how well these narrow looking boots would fit/feel. Well- from the moment I tried them on I was in love. I have never owned a pair of boots that were comfortable from the get go, usually I have to have them stretched for width or go through a painful break in process. But these boots are perfect- I was amazed to find the leather structure doesn't rub on my bunions, and the footbed is divine- like a gentle hug on your feet with excellent arch support (exactly why I love Taos to begin with.) I wore these bad boys out of the shop and went out for a Saturday Night, walking all over town, for about 8 hours. I noticed immediate improvements to my posture and relief of knee/ankle pain from a sprain I incurred two weeks ago. The next day my feet felt great. The style is a bit clunky/combat booty - reminiscent of my teen years spent wearing Doc Marten shit kickers. So basically the 15 year old punk rocker in me is all about the look of these. I got them in bordeaux and the color is just beautiful- a rich, deep aubergine, neutral enough to go with my black, blue denim and grey jeans. Like the Doc Martens and John Fluevogs of my youth, these boots are going to be my babies. I am glancing at them lovingly from across the room while writing this, thinking about all the adventures we're going to go on.

These were REALLY comfortable, and the laces adjusted to my wide feet and wide calves. But the stitching across toe gave me kind of a clown vibe. The stitching visually cut off the toe from the rest of the boot, which works okay if your legs are willowy, but mine are not. So warm, so comfortable, so sad to return them.

Totally in love with these! They felt a bit loose around the heel, but I only needed to tighten the laces over the foot to keep the heel in place. I did not lace them all the way up, yet I was still able to get them snug enough to keep the heel from flopping. I am a 6.5M, s getting a decent fit in 37 is unusual for me because they run a half size larger or more. I prefer more length and width in the toe box for comfort, so I never size down to 36. These boots are comfortable right out of the box. I haven't gone walking in them yet, but I think they will break in well without causing pain. They look really great with jeans, and I bet they would look super cool with the right skirt and jacket.

These are great, very casual, very comfortable. The grey color is a warm grey. Oddly, they have brown laces...which is weird. I'm changing them to grey. Other than that they rock!

I had a hard time justifying the money but I've got bunions and it is VERY difficult to find footwear that is comfortable and stylish. Based on other reviews I went a size up, got 40's for my US size 8.5 wide foot. These boots are very comfortable! I'm thrilled with them. They actually are running me more than the list price because I've bought some new items to wear with them. I'm not sure why Taos calls the color "violet" -- its more a muted oxblood maybe. Love the zipper, no struggling in or out. Worth the $$.

Love, love ,love these boots. They are so comfortable, and beautiful style. The construction is excellent as well, that's Taos for you. I have 4 other pair of Taos footwear in varying styles, they are all so comfortable.

Awesome boots but unfortunately I have a really wide foot and they didn't fit right even with the laces so I had to return them.

I LOVE shoes in blues or greens, and teal is my favorite. So despite the fact that I don't need a pair of boots, I hit order. Based on comments, I ordered my regular size of 8/39 and one size up (40). I tried the 39s on first and they were perfect, the 40s never came out of the box. They are quite comfortable. Because I have cranky feet, I may add more arch support but these will be great for most everyone as is. The fleece lining is quite comfortable with both regular and thick socks. I knew the boots had a good tread, but had not realized the entire sole is synthetic including all of the heel--it looks like leather. For me, in Maine, this is a really good thing because it means they will hold up better in slush and winter much. Wish I could afford to buy them in another color!

Incredibly comfortable and cozy with the lining. True to size I wear a size 7 medium and ordered a size 37 - perfect fit with room for light weight socks. Colors exactly as pictured, I ordered the Black, Teal and Red and am keeping all of them. Look great with jeans and dressy enough to wear to work. Very well made. Highly recommend!!

I love these boots! I may never take them off. I wear a size 9 and got a 40....they felt a little loose but after tying up the laces they are PERFECT! ( they might run a tad big..I might have been good with a 39....but that's hard to say without trying them on!)
