I had been looking forward to adding these boots to my collection for awhile. However, they went back the same day I rcv'd them. They're super cute and appear to be well made. But they run a full size too small. I wear an 11 (42), so unfortunately I don't have the option of ordering up. I could squeeze my foot in with no socks, but walking was another story. So disappointed.

I’ve been wearing these boots non stop for the last 3 months. Texas winter is chilly but not too wintery and these delicious little combat style boots are perfecto. They have a light faux fur lining which makes them just a bit warmer than my Justin Ropers and the footbed is to die for. They have great arch support and are nice and soft for long days of city walking. I get stopped all the time by boot stalkers asking me what kind they are and where I found them. I have the teal which is subtle but still gives a good pop, especially with black leggings. I want other colors. I wish Taos made them without the fur so I could keep wearing them into the summertime! Highly recommended.

Ordered them in a size EU40. Perfect fit right out of the box. If I had the money I'd buy them in every color!

I love them! I have been on the hunt for the perfect boot to wear with leggings & tunics or long sweaters, jeans, etc. These are perfect- veryversatile, comfortable, stylish, and just the right height in both heel and shaft. I often wear Keen or Dansko, so the narrower toe box on these was an adjustment for me. I bought them in black, and sure am tempted to get another color!

I love these boots. I got them in red and they are fabulous with everything. The red really stands out. I also ordered the bordeaux, and nice as it is, it doesn't pop like the red. The boots are very comfortable and pretty stylish for a military boot.

Love them really make a big foot look but too tight in toe box.

I think I just got my new favorite boots! Style, color, and fit are perfect. I think I could walk all day in these boots!

Love these boots! Comfortable right out of the box. They look great with skinny jeans, leggings and skirts. They have good arch support and that is very important to me since I have high arches. I bought black because that is what I needed but I want another color.

Had high hopes for this boot given the reviews. Size 39 felt a size too small. Much too narrow across the toe box, not suitable for wide feet. And surprisingly stiff. Thought these would offer durable yet supple leather and flexibility similar to Pikolinos. Love the color (ink blue) and silhouette of the boot but would unlikely be comfortable even if I went a size up.

Another review? Yes! These boots are so fantastic. I just got them in the Bordeaux color and they are stunning. Super deluxe, already comfortable after just one wear and very stylish. The workmanship and leather are great. Wore them with a dress and of course they will look so good with pants and leggings. And what else? they make me taller! I'm 5'6" and they give me a nice lift. Great shoe, great investment.

Beautiful boots!!! I felt sure they would fit like a glove like my other Taos shoes. The only problem I had initially was that I could not decide which color to order. Therefore, I ordered the blue ink and the grey. After looking at the two, I decided that the grey would be more compatible with my wardrobe. When I tried them on, I was very disappointed. The forefoot was comfortable, giving enough toe wiggle room, but the mid-foot and heel were too wide. I could not lace them tight enough to fit around the mid-foot and prevent heel slippage. I could have used much thicker socks, but that would have compromised the fit of the toe box. Since I have a Morton's neuroma and a bunion, that was not an option. Sadly, I had to send them back. On a positive note, Zappos customer service takes a backseat to no one. You guys are GREAT!

Best boots I've ever had. I can wear these nonstop and not even realize I have boots on. Super comfortable, they look amazing, the colors are great (I have teal), the zip in the inside is so clever so I don't have to lace them up, just do a quick zip. Now I need all the colors.

Like all the other reviewers have said, these boots are gorgeous and super comfortable. I'm not one to stare at my feet/shoes once I'm dressed for the day, but with these boots I keep sneaking peeks because they're that awesome!! I bought them in navy, but they're a little lighter than traditional navy. To me it's more like a rich but subdued blue with hints of gray. Yes, they're pricey but totally worth it.

Very comfy, no break in period. I usually wear a 8.5-9 and the 40 fits perfect, enough room for thick socks if I wanted to. Soft leather and badass style. Pricy but good quality.

I wear an 8.5 and the 39 fit perfect. Beautiful boot. Soft leather. Well made. Quality. Comfortable from second you put them on. Nice heel in the back that is a bit higher and more flattering than standard combat or hiker style. I would buy a pair in each color if I could.

Just got these boots and I love them. I bought them on a whim because I didn't really need them, but knew that unless I loved them it would be easy to return (LOVE Zappos). But I do love them! They feel great, the leather is so nice, and the color (ink blue) is unique. I got my usual size and they fit well, even a little loose in the heel.

The first thing I tbought of when I tried on the Crave boots was how incredibly comfortable they are...AND beautiful. The second thing I thought of was what other colors I needed them in. They are THAT great. Really nicely made, gorgeous leather and color. I bought them in grey. Laces are brownish. Go with everything! I'm an 8-1/2, 39-1/2 in Superga tennies. Ordered these in a 40 and they fit perfectly. The feel broken in almost from the first time you wear them. Great insole, nice heel height. Buy them. I promise you won't be sorry!

These boots are of the highest quality, and they are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures. I bought the camel-colored boots and would love to get the violet too! The boots are both comfortable and extremely supportive to the foot and ankle. Highly recommend!

Amazing boot. Not a great look for people with thick ankles, though.

I originally purchased these in Ink Blue...the Bordeaux were out of stock..though any color would have been nice I am sure. I was looking for something that wasn't a winter boot and more stylish. Sorel has some amazing booties but very expensive and too high. Same with Dr. Martens....feminine edgy styles but too high for my comfort. These are nice. The ink blue must have been very new. I could feel a little squeeze with my width of my foot ( i have wide feet but never had to order a wider shoes)...figured I would break them in. The same day I received the ink blue the Bordeaux became available. Decided to order those and send back the ink blue - they were very stunning but I had my eyes set on the bordeux or violet. The new pair cleary have been tried on before....not a fitted as previous pair. Very comfortable....give a little lift without being ridiculous. Already received compliments the first night out. Like them a lot!!! Glad I bought them.

Taos Footwear is my new favorite. The Crave boot is super comfortable and great if you do a lot of walking. It has a built in orthodic arch support so I don't have to put my own in before wearing them. So stylish and I ordered the gray, which are in between and black and a brown. Great with skinny jeans or boot cute jeans. I am a 9 and ordered a size 40. Fit is perfect. I would highly recommend this boot, it's worth the price!

Super comfortable boot and LOVE the teal color. My feet are a little narrow so I have to cinch the boots down by laces. Good option since they also zip up. For boots with heels I could walk in them all day!

These boots came out of the box feeling comfortable and already broken in. Super cute, super comfortable. I'm a true 9 1/2 and I ordered the 40 and they fit perfect. Got the violet boots and get compliments all the time on their appearance. Absolutely loveâ?¤

Very comfortable and didn't require any "break in" period. The style is cute, too. Love that I don't have to continually tie and untie thanks to the zipper!
