The toe box on these boots are VERY narrow. I have the start of a very small bunion and it was painful putting these on. (I don’t normally need wide shoes though) otherwise the color (red) is gorgeous & the style is amazing. I’m sad to return them.

Despite a “W” option, I’m quite sure it stands for “women’s” instead of wide, especially since there was no “w” marked on the size info inside the boot and it clearly said “medium” on the size info on the box. Very disappointing if you need a wide shoe. These are too narrow for my aging feet.

Absolutely wildly comfortable. I wanted the red in 8.5W but unfortunately after trying two pairs, I found that they were not as wide as the same size in Black. So, kept the black.

I have tried TWO 8.5 Wide RED, and both fit smaller (like 8.5M) than the 8.5W in Black. The black fit beautifully, SO comfortable. I'm going to try to size up in the red. Also, the red is not bright as pictured, it's more of a muted burgundy.

Comfy just too big for me in smallest size.

I purchased my regular size in a wide at first. There was no way it was a wide as it was quite narrow in the toe box. I went up a size, again in a wide width and the same thing. Perhaps it may stretch out with time and wear, but for this amount of money I need to have a good fit from the beginning and cannot take that chance. Back this one goes as well. I am so disappointed because I love everything else about the boot.

quality is high just not as comfortable for me for the price

I have lusted after these boots for years, so while searching for shoes for an upcoming trip, I decided I would try these on. I've tried regular width in a store before and they were way too tight, so I had hopes for the wide width. I'm usually a 10 but reviews stated these ran a little small, so I went with size 42, the largest they offer. NOPE. These were overly snug in the width and a smidge at the end of the toe. They're beautiful boots, but not wide width by any means, even with thin cotton socks. The toe box isn't wide enough for anyone with bunions IMO. Yes, it's true that leather will stretch over time, but anyone with painful bunions knows this is a really crappy option. I wasn't willing to spend the money on shoes that *might* fit in a few months of breaking in and stretching out. I wish they had a 43 that I could've tried, but it doesn't exist, alas. Boots are lovely and seem well made, just not for me.

These boots are beautiful! I so wanted them to work. I have a narrow foot so hoped this would work. I also normally wear size 11. In this case, the size 11 was too short and my toes felt the edge of the toe box. I wish they offered a half size up.

The fit is tighter than I'd hoped, but they're leather so hopefully they'll stretch. They are beautiful, probably the best boots I've worn/seen in this style. The color is very pretty, the leather is soft and that's why I think I'll be able to wear them in fairly easily. To compare them to Doc Martens, the leather for the DM is hard as tile and literally unwearable.

The fit is a little large, however the biggest issue is I ordered Classic Black and I received Brown boots even though Classic Black is listed on the box.

These are great boots. Very comfortable. Heel is right. I am returning because of the zipper. At this price I want these boots to last a long time and the zipper made me nervous. If it fails I have very little options for repair

I loved these boots. Stylish, nice finish - but the curved zipper on the instep bulges out and I fear will wear thru in short order. I have high arch and that may be the reason.

LOVE THE SMELL! Real leather. Hearty strong feel.

The style is great, but kind of reminded me of ice skates once on. They were about 1/2 size too big even with 2 pairs of socks. I walked around inside for about 5-10 minutes and they are not as comfy as reviews mentioned and walk a tad clunky. My feet felt fatigued in the little bit I wore them so I knew they weren't for me. Also, I didn't realize they were not waterproof, which is needed in New England weather.

These are absolutely beautiful and comfortable! Unfortunately they were just too big for me, and I couldn’t get a smaller size. I think they run a little large. I wish they would have fit!!

These were lovely. I wear a 9 and have a wide foot. The length was fine but the width was off. The construction was good but not what I expected for the price. I was expecting them to be made from stronger stuff, the interior is lined with a napped fabric not leather. I know lots of people commented the last a long time with hard wear but I am not seeing that in this boot.

I have high arches and these boots are not only super cute, but also have great support and sturdiness. High quality and snazzy, they improve the dressiness of any outfit I pair them with. Only downside is that as I believe they are patent leather, they haven't gotten any less stiff than when I got them, which makes them hard to bend at my ankle when I walk, and sometimes dig into my shin too. They also squeak on linoleum. Worth it for the great design and color, though.

Boot was just too short. I normally wear a 10.5, but ordered an 11 because of wearing thicker socks.

The fit was true to size and style are awesome, however, had to return these as the leather was squeaky. So sad as I love Taos boots.

Well made. Good fit. I prefer the softer black version of this boot. This one is too militant for my liking.

These are super comfy, thought a little heavy. They are well made and warm. I expect they'll last a long time. I got the red ones which are beautiful, but I do have a tough time figuring out what to wear them with. These are not my typical style, so it might just be getting out of my comfort zone (fashion wise). But they are very comfy and cute!
