Like all the other reviewers have said, these boots are gorgeous and super comfortable. I'm not one to stare at my feet/shoes once I'm dressed for the day, but with these boots I keep sneaking peeks because they're that awesome!! I bought them in navy, but they're a little lighter than traditional navy. To me it's more like a rich but subdued blue with hints of gray. Yes, they're pricey but totally worth it.

Very comfy, no break in period. I usually wear a 8.5-9 and the 40 fits perfect, enough room for thick socks if I wanted to. Soft leather and badass style. Pricy but good quality.

I wear an 8.5 and the 39 fit perfect. Beautiful boot. Soft leather. Well made. Quality. Comfortable from second you put them on. Nice heel in the back that is a bit higher and more flattering than standard combat or hiker style. I would buy a pair in each color if I could.

Just got these boots and I love them. I bought them on a whim because I didn't really need them, but knew that unless I loved them it would be easy to return (LOVE Zappos). But I do love them! They feel great, the leather is so nice, and the color (ink blue) is unique. I got my usual size and they fit well, even a little loose in the heel.

The first thing I tbought of when I tried on the Crave boots was how incredibly comfortable they are...AND beautiful. The second thing I thought of was what other colors I needed them in. They are THAT great. Really nicely made, gorgeous leather and color. I bought them in grey. Laces are brownish. Go with everything! I'm an 8-1/2, 39-1/2 in Superga tennies. Ordered these in a 40 and they fit perfectly. The feel broken in almost from the first time you wear them. Great insole, nice heel height. Buy them. I promise you won't be sorry!

These boots are of the highest quality, and they are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures. I bought the camel-colored boots and would love to get the violet too! The boots are both comfortable and extremely supportive to the foot and ankle. Highly recommend!

Amazing boot. Not a great look for people with thick ankles, though.

Taos Footwear is my new favorite. The Crave boot is super comfortable and great if you do a lot of walking. It has a built in orthodic arch support so I don't have to put my own in before wearing them. So stylish and I ordered the gray, which are in between and black and a brown. Great with skinny jeans or boot cute jeans. I am a 9 and ordered a size 40. Fit is perfect. I would highly recommend this boot, it's worth the price!

These boots came out of the box feeling comfortable and already broken in. Super cute, super comfortable. I'm a true 9 1/2 and I ordered the 40 and they fit perfect. Got the violet boots and get compliments all the time on their appearance. Absolutely loveâ?¤

Very comfortable and didn't require any "break in" period. The style is cute, too. Love that I don't have to continually tie and untie thanks to the zipper!

These shoes are amazing. I needed a pair of shoes with a good tread. I have terrible back problems and I have to be very careful with what shoes I wear. These have not caused me any trouble. The heel is perfect and the shoes are so comfortable! You will not regret buying these. I have them in red and brown and I'm saving up to get them in black and teal. Seriously, they are that awesome.

So beautiful yet so small. It kills me that this boot is narrow in the toe box. I don't have wide feet and I got a size up from my usual size (which is their largest option). They have great tread, are the right length and are just lovely. I may try to stretch them instead of returning. The teal is not really teal, but a really pretty blue that would go with lots of colors.

These are the most comfortable and cool boots! They are true to size and I love them. Would definitely buy again!

Love the color, the fit and the style. The footbed is very comfortable. Taos is an amazing brand anyway so it doesn't surprise me that boot is fantastic. I wear a 7 to 7.5 in USA brands but always a 38 in Euro.

I LOVE the new teal color! Kudos Taos! These boots need a little more padding in the ball of the foot, but I bought gels and they work fine. I'm glad I ordered the 38; I think the 39 would have slipped around unless I wore REALLY thick socks and I don't like my feet to get that hot.

I LOVE these and want them in every color. I have all kinds of foot problems--especially neuromas and arthritis--and these boots were comfortable out of the box. I got the Bordeaux color, and they are a purply brown that changes with the light. If you are on the fence, get a pair. You will not be disappointed.

I hesitated before buying these because I read a couple of reviews saying they run narrow but I'm so glad I got them. These are the most comfortable boots I own and they also happen to be very stylish. No break-in period required -- they felt great right out of the box. I sometimes need a wide width in boots but these have plenty of room even with thicker socks. I bought them in the bordeaux color and it's much more of a neutral color than I expected. Can't recommend these highly enough.

I lusted after these boots for months and hoped to find them on sale; but - they are so popular I pulled the trigger and paid full price. I purchased the Taos Crave in teal and absolutely love them! It is clear why they are so popular and never go on sale. These boots are adorable and amazingly comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear a size 9 shoe but I take a 39 in Taos. I hope that next year Taos offers the Crave in more vibrant colors. I love the teal but would also like a brighter teal color. These boots are A+++++ all around!

These shoes are great! Super comfy to walk and stand in, and nice looking too. Both the Blue Ink and the Bordeaux colors are really stunning in person. My only note is that if you usually wear half sizes, you might want to size up to the next whole size rather than down.

These boots are awesome! Really! Based on some of the reviews I ordered the size 39, I'm normally between a 38 and 39, probably closer to a 38, but they were a little big so I'd say they do run true to size. Called to make an exchange, the sales rep was charming, we had a nice conversation about my upcoming trip to London, which is why I ordered the boots. I called Sunday afternoon, she said they'd ship out on Monday and would arrive on Tuesday. They were delivered on Monday. They must have magic shipping elves. The boots fit great, wore them all day, super comfortable right out of the box. And really cute! As mentioned by another customer the grey are more brownish, but that's okay, it's a good neutral color. Then today, Thursday, my cute UPS man delivered another package from Zappos. I didn't order anything. In the box was a travel purse (and I needed one!) along with a lovely note telling me to enjoy my trip! Zappos rocks!!

I first had purchased the Dromedaris Kara and found it was too big on my foot all-around and couldn't be tightened enough to feel secure. I am almost always a 7.5 (except UGG which I size down to 7). But I have thin ankles and high arches. So I exchanged the Karas for the Taos Crave. They fit perfectly and are true to size, even with winter socks on, a half size up would have been too big. They are high quality leather, I bought the grey, which is deep and rich in color. I think the Kara had a slightly more stylish look (just my personal preference) but the Crave feels good on, no break in time, wore all over downtown cold rainy Portland right when I got them and no issues. Getting lots of compliments. Love the heel-just a tad taller than some of the others while not being "tall". Overall I am very happy with these boots and I tried the other colors on in person and found them a bit too bright. The grey seems to go with everything.

These are great boots. I frequently buy Frye boots but I decided to try these and I love them. I bought the Teall color and it's really fun and different. The leather is soft out of the box and the boots are comfortable to walk in. I'm a 7 1/2 to an 8 and the 8 worked for me.

I love this boot and wanted to keep it, if it wasn't for issues with my feet I would have kept them, good quality, soft leather, really cute boots, sadly they just don't work for me.

Ordered these in the Bordeaux and love them so much, I'm back to snag the teal. Very comfortable. Super easy to slip on and off. Stylish and did I mention comfortable? Could walk forever in these boots. Love!

These are the most adorable and comfortable boots I've ever owned. I've been shopping for work boots for years now and these are the first pair that has satisfied all my requirements in a boot.
