I really like these boots. They are light weight and seem comfy. The pair I received was marked 42 but fit like a 41. My toes were all the way to the end and I was wearing trouser socks. I will reorder figure it out.

As one reviewer said, "DO NOT PUT THESE IN YOUR CART!" And it was meant in the best possible way. She was telling the truth. These little gems are fabulous! I initially started with a size 37 (I'm a 6.5 to 7). They were just a wee bit tight, so I returned them for a 38 for added room and thicker socks. Perfection. I was trying to find a bootie for upcoming trips to Europe in the Fall and next Spring that would be versatile enough to wear with both jeans, leggings and dresses, without looking frumpy along with providing the comfort needed for extensive walking. Boy did, I find them. Now I want every color! I purchased the red and they are scrumptious. Very comfy and oh-so-purrty! For those that need orthotics, the footbed liner is removable so they should work (I don't wear orthotics so cannot confirm this fact entirely). These aren't waterproof so I've sprayed them a couple of times with Frye Waterproof Spray for added protection. The biggest problem I've found with these booties? Deciding which color to get next! :-)

These boots are SO CUTE. And relatively comfortable. But I found another set of boots that weren't quite as cute, but WAY more comfortable, and half the price. So if style is your priority, go for these. If comfort is at the top of your list, you can find others that are just as comfy, if not better. They are a wee bit narrow, but I was okay. I'm basically between sizes, and ordered up. They fit very well.

Love this boot, in look and fit. And I'm pretty picky on both counts.

Best pair of boots I’ve ever owned

Fabulous boots. I've worn Danskos exclusively for several years because I have high arches. I was hesitant to try another brand, but my feet have had no issues at all with these. The arches are a little lower than with Danskos, but it hasn't been a problem. The footbed is very cushiony. These boots are extremely well-made. They feel rock-solid, like they will last forever. And the leather and the design are just beautiful. Really happy with them.

No fault of Zappos but I expect when I pay $200 for shoes they are of a good quality. I purchased the red color and out of the box on boot had a pink tinge to the midfoot. There's a toe cap of a deep maroon/red and the top suede fabric mimics the deep tone and is awesome. They are truely a great looking boot so I was thinking one shoe was defective and put them on to see the fit. The fit and comfort were very good. I wear 8.5 in boots to allow for socks and these were a good width and cushioned. I wore them around on the carpeting to see how noticeable the color difference was. I really wanted to keep them. After wearing in the bedroom a short time both boots started to show creasing and cracking of the red color on the top where the boot flexes. Didn't take long for these gorgeous boots to look old and damaged. Game changer - they are going back. what a shame.

I love the look and they feel good on my feet.. but for some reason if I wear them for more than a couple hours and walking on them.. my legs are killing me.. so much so that I can’t really wear them. It’s super disappointing cause I really like these boots. I added ortho inserts and it did not help.

I just ordered my second pair! I wish I could wear these boots everyday, they are so comfortable and chic! There was no break-in period, the teal color is glorious and EVERYONE loves them. The zipper is it's greatest feature, in and out in a flash, no laces to fuss with. I wear them in the City and in the Country. They go anywhere!

I ordered 40 after trying on a friend’s 40 and her 40 felt perfect. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2, she wears an 8. Obviously her pair had stretched out. She said hers were super comfy. I felt that also. Tricky sizing here. One heel slips on mine. I have been trying different thicknesses of socks. I wore them outside so I cannot return them. Even if I did based on the 40 I tried on (my friend’s favorite most comfy boot ever) would still be the right “size” for me. I think since my heel in slipping in 40 and they’re not stretched out yet, the size up would never work. And the size down would be really too small. That’s my two cents. FWIW.

I’ll admit that I can’t figure out color these are. These have been go to boots in cold weather and they have rocked with jeans to slacks.

Great boot, very comfy. Expected a blue/teal color but to me its very green/ olive...not my color.

These are the best boots I’ve ever owned. They are stylish, support my ankles, are easy on and off, my orthotics fit in them. I get compliments all the time.

I had been looking at these boots for months but just couldn't see spending almost $200. Well hallelujah, while on vacation I found a bordeux pair in my size for half off!. It was the last pair in the store so I considered it fate and I snagged them. They are very comfortable and fit so nicely. Would love another pair, will have to watch for sales.

Excellent..I have high arches..need ankle support..wide feet..broke ankle & foot so swells..totally adjustable..beautiful colors & the grey is so awesome that its very neutral goes with everything...comfort like a sneaker...well made...I can't say enough great things about this boot! I can't say enough about ZAPPOS ROCKS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Excellent. Great ankle support, sneaker comfort, good toe box for any toe issues, beautiful colors, I have 5pairs & counting. The tall crave are even better for comfort & ankle support! The Camel is a warmer camel..subdued. the grey is THE BEST NEUTRAL I have ever seen. The Taupe tall is very toned down so great neutral. They all fit exactly the same. One return with a defect in the toe box more narrow than the 4others so exchanged which Zappos was awesome switch out EASILY the next day!!! I am hoping for more colors offered elsewhere bc I hate ordering from anywhere else! I have written to Taos to put out more colors in the tall crave...maybe in the fall! Thank you Zappos u all are great!!!!!

Both of my teenage daughters have these boots and absolutely love them. I'm planning to order a pair for myself, as well. Great boots, go with everything, and are comfortable all day long. They also happen to be a great transitional shoe for my daughters who have to tramp through snow getting into their school, but then have to have shoes that won't make their feet sweat to death during classes. Very well made and durable, while also being very good looking!

Believe the hype! These were soft inside (I was testing them with lowish socks), the leather was firm yet not overly stiff, the heel was a great height and my feet didn't get tired while standing in them. The only downside is where they bend when I step. It pushes down on a bone and becomes very sore after walking in them for a short time, thus I have to return them. I have orthotics and they fit very nicely inside. Which is another reason why I'm so disappointed these didn't work out for me.

Absolutely love these boots! Super cute, and comfortable too. The dual lacing and zipper system make for a great fit using the laces, combined with a quick off and on subsequently using the zipper. I got the indigo color -- it's pretty, and interesting, without being crazy. Goes great with jeans.

I really wish they would have worked. Way too small. I’m a size 11 and ordered the 42, but they are too tight. They also do not come in a bigger size. So sad. I also wish it had more arch support.

These boots=amazing So comfortable and look fantastic with skinny jeans or cuffed boyfriend jeans. I got them in red and they add just the right amount of pop without being too obvious. Took a day to break in and now I could walk for miles in them. Almost want to order in another color I love them so much.

Chameleon color. This is it in Teal in natural daylight. At night, in artificial light, you will swear up and down it is the Indigo, with no hint og green whatsoever. And in daylight, the color can shift from a medium teal to oven a pale army green depending on what you wear with it.

Must see in natural light. When I first rec’d, was so upset as I only saw under artificial lighting, and it was just plain old dark boring brown. Not what i wanted. Then behold - the daylight! Really beautiful color that takes on the personality of what you pair it with. Leather is not a calfskin nor as sturdy as a Coach handbag. I have only gingerly worn once driving and into a conference where I sat all day. When I came home, I see they do have scuff marks on them! They have lots toe wiggle room and I have bunions, so can be hard to fit. Inside is lightly lined, so no uncomfortable stitching rubbiing. I am a 41 in the traditional Dansko clog, so chose that size. A little bit of slip, just like the clog. Thin sock fine. Also have heavier legs, so plenty of room to lace up. May be loose on someone with slender legs. A keeper.
