I really like the style and fit of these boots but the color was what I expected it to be. I wanted a wine color, shich is what it looked like online but when I received the boots, they were much darker color than I wanted. For this price, I need to get exactly what I wanted. Returning them.

Very comfotable right out of the box. Sturdy enough for some light hiking, and still stylish. Love them!

These boots are cute and comfortable. I had to exchange for a larger size though (41 to a 42), and then ended up returning the 42, also. Problem was the boots looked obviously warn and for the price- not acceptable.

These boots are gorgeous and great quality. They are very comfortable but only con was that my feet felt a little hot after wearing them all day.

I buy a new pair every year I'm so in love with these boots! I have slightly wider feet and the medium width fit perfectly. I wear them with good quality wool socks in the cold months and my feet are snug & toasty. I can be on my feet all day with these on and feel no pain, despite the fact that I have had severe ligament strain in my right foot and have to be extremely careful what shoes I purchase. I am so happy I don't have to sacrifice style for comfort & stability!

These are such cute boots, but they run a little small.

Fit comfortably right out of the box. They look great on. I'm going to get another pair in black.

I'm a size 9 with a need for a roomy toe box. I ordered up to size 40, but still WAY too small - felt like I was forcing my feet into size 8.5 shoes. Bogles my mind why Taos doesn't fix this obvious problem. Ordered the Golden Tan color and didn't like the darkened toe box on the leather treatment - made the boots look cheap.

Beautiful boots, but they run incredibly small. I wear a size 11 or EU43 in most boots, including the Rockports and Borns that I ordered at the same time as these. Not only does Taos consider an EU43 a size 12 (it's NOT), even the size 12 was far too short in the toe. Too bad, because they are very cute!

These are the best most stylish boot of this kind! I have them in saddle and I’m about to order a second pair. I just can’t decide which color!! They are super comfortable and the break in time was minimal. They look good with everything-jeans, leggings, or skirts. I would highly recommend.

I love these! I went up from a 39 to a 40, so that I could wear thicker socks with them. The width was fine for my average to wide feet. Also true confession: I ordered black and bordeaux to see which color I liked better, and I decided to keep them both.

Absolutely love these boots! Worth every penny! Great support, comfortable and love the red color. Fit well after adjusting the laces. Highly recommend especially if you have heel/ arch pain.

I love this boots. But even though I'm a regular size 42, even the 43 was too small! I'm very sorry, as the color and look are great.

Absolutely LOVE these boots! I have slight bunions and the width works OK so...They might run a tad wide (FYI)! Super supportive and trendy

I normally wear between 10.5-11 so went with the 11-11.5. My toe just touches the front of the boot, so I’ve ordered the 12-12.5 to see how much extra room that gives. Beautiful boots and seems fine width-wise, but I could see how this might be tight on a wider foot.

These were astonishingly small. I am tall and wear and 11-12 so I ordered a 43. They felt more like a 10. The color was off as well. They looked hunter green rather than teal. Overall, they looked rather cheap. I was shocked. They are going back today. So disappointed.

I love the look. But they were really tight on my toes. And even with feeling tight, my heel pulled up. I had to return them.

I admit I love Taos boots, I have several pairs of short booties but was always afraid to order the Crave as I have very large calves and legs and cannot find boots to fit. But I kept eyeing the Crave in Bordeaux and decided to take a chance, figuring I could easily return. Got them today and was shocked that they fit right out of the box, even laced all the way up. Gorgeous. Love Taos as they are extremely comfortable straight away, there is never a breaking i period. Wish I was rich I would order in every color, but the Bordeaux is a very versatile color, quite dark burgundy that is actually quite neutral. I wear a 9-1/2 to 10 and the 41 is perfect. I have a wideish foot but usually can wear a regular width and these fit great. The heel is a little loose but thicker socks will cure that. Larger calf ladies buy these! Even if you needed to leave the top two eyelets untied these are darling. BTW I am 60 and still want to look fashionable. The will look great with jeans or leggings. I love them!

Beautiful shoe but toe box is very narrow and even ordering a size larger than normal made no difference.

I initially ordered a size 40 boot (my usual size is 9 to 9.5) but it did not fit me. I wear a medium and these felt snug on my feet. I returned those and re-ordered in the 41 size. They arrived in less than 24 hours and are PERFECT. I am thrilled with this boot. It was immediately comfortable and will be my go-to boot for a trip with lots of walking and everyday use after that. Excellent quality, edgy jade color and I am one happy trooper.

I have been coveting these boots for a year and finally decided to get them. I LOVE the way they look in photos!! However, I am sending them back because I hate the way they look on my feet...they make my feet look chunky. It's like the inside of the boot caves in (I'm probably not explaining this very well). Needless to say, I'm so disappointed. Also, the Teal color was WAY more green than the pics online. I'm going to have to find a new pair of boots to covet!

First of all, the style changes for the new BLACK on BLACK that features all smooth leather and same color stitching looks just beautiful. It makes the book look dressier and very sleek. I do wish this brand would make their boots true to size and give the wearer more ample room in the toe area where it is more narrow compared to other boots in the same size. The arch is good and there is great ankle support. I hope TAOS will redesign some NEW COLORS with all smooth leather and SAME COLOR STITCHING like they did with the BLACK on BLACK.

I have to agree with Midtowngirl. These boots are amazing. I ordered Camel and it is a rich, warm color, the quality of the leather, the soft lining throughout the entire boot, construction and support are perfect. I have been wearing Doc Martins for years and I must say these are not only lighter but offer better support for my entire foot. I hesitated at the price but I read the reviews and decided my feet needed a really good boot that offered all of the above. Thank you Zappos for offering such quality products and giving each of us a chance to share our experiences. By the way, I was just notified that the Grey ones that I had been on a waiting list for have just come in,,,,,,,,,,,,,so I ordered them today. My knees and feet need consistent stability and soles that offer safety in bad weather. I am ready for fall and winter........thank you again. TAOS is an incredible brand and I will remain a loyal customer.

I wanted to like these. I've eyed them for awhile but I have a narrow heel and my heel slipped when walking. I could tell I'd have a blister soon. The rest of the fit was fine. Not too narrow in the toe and true to size.
