I wear a large size 12 for a women it is so hard to find a cute comfortable shoe that doesnt look like a ski. These are just amazing boots I have bought 2 pair. Taos also has nice sandals for big foot as well..Thank you Taos keep on sending them out.....

These are comfortable from the get-go! Style, color are perfect- even though I wanted a lower heel these are a great height and don’t feel wobbly when walking. Only bummer: listed at 25% discount this week?

These are true to size and perfect straight out of the box - no “break in period” needed. Ordered a pair for myself for a trip to NM and trekked around for days with zero problems. My daughter admired them so much I got her a pair for Christmas. These are so sturdy and well-made - buy them, you won’t be sorry!!

I am so pleased with this purchase! These boots look like a million bucks; the quality is evident. The first time I wore them, I wore them all day. They were comfortable as well as so very cute. I expect these to last a long time.

I loved the look of these and after trying so many other boots I decided to give these a go. I went up a size after reading all the reviews and I do not regret that. I think they would be too wide at a size larger if they did not have laces however being able to tighten them is helpful. I have RA and have to have great arch support. I also need decent insoles providing cushion throughout. These were perfect. I put them on and was able to wear them for a 12 hour day. It is always a huge bonus if the insole can be removed which it can. I love these and they are so cute. I will buy more pairs in different colors.

As soon as I put them on I knew they were the wrong size I tried them on in a store before purchasing and instead of receiving the equivalent of a size 12 I received the equivalent of an 11 Love the style but they definitely run small

These are gorgeous. I'm in love with blue leather right now, and these are obviously high-quality boots. I got a compliment on them right away from an old punk rocker, which makes me think they're sufficiently edgy for my look. ;) I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them, though. I am a consistent size 7.5, so I first ordered the 38, but I realized my feet were slipping around too much, so ordered the 37 in a hurry. The 37 fits well. But, these are stiff shoes. The leather is quality, and thick (the suede part is a little softer and thinner). They are lined with a dreamy, kind of thin velvet material. The soles have very little flexibility. I have a couple of pairs of Earth ankle and mid-calf boots that I wear a lot, and they don't feel nearly as stiff as these do. But, I started wearing more barefoot-type shoes and moccasins a couple of years ago, so I lean towards more flexible shoes and I am probably more sensitive to this than a lot of people. I had been salivating over these for a long time before I purchased them, and they are very high-quality and I love the look. I think most people might not have issues with the comfort of these shoes, but they feel pretty stiff and restrictive to me. I think I will give in to temptation and keep them, to wear to work and going out some, but they will be more fashionable than functional for me. They will probably become a little more flexible with wear. ?

From the moment I put on these boots I was very pleased. They are so comfortable and sturdy.

I love love this Crave boot by Taos. This is my second pair. My first pair wore like iron and is still in great condition- better than new really since it mellowed to my foot. However when my bunions and foot changed in size I had to go up a half size. New ones are great fit. I wear them with skirts and pants and jeans. For travel they are my one pair for everything! I have the gray which is just the perfect neutral color -its a mellow gray brown in my pair and goes beautifully with black and navy and everything! I get tons of compliments and I pad the inside with gel shoe inserts to custom fit my bunions. Thanks Zappos for size and color choices in this epic boot

I have to say that these boots are amazing! I’ve had my ink blue since 2016 & they’re still looking great! These really hold up. I really put them to the test last year when I participated in the wreath laying at Arlington national cemetery. It was raining non stop that day. My feet stayed dry. It does help to use quality waterproofing. I reapply every fall and I can say they carry me through the Colorado winters nicely. I usually wear thick wool socks along with my orthotics. I can walk all day in these and have never experienced any foot or back issues. I just ordered my second pair in Bordeaux! Ladies, we all deserve a great, stylish, comfortable boot. The Taos crave is definitely the right choice!

I ordered a size 8-8.5. This size usually fits with other brands, but the boot was very short. Seemed to be well made, heavy leather. IF I order again I would order a whole size larger. Minimal arch support. Questionable if a orthotic would fit...darn, they were a very nice boot.

I love the style, the fit was perfect I’m normally 7 1/2. The gray is really a brown which is what I wanted and had read in a previous review. Very comfortable boot!

These boots are a miracle.

I purchased a 37 since I typically wear a US size 6, but I would have needed to go up another size to be able to wear thicker socks. Unfortunately these were so loose at the heel even with thick socks, I didn't size up. I have narrow feet, but do not usually have problems with loose heels. They felt fairly narrow everywhere else. They golden tan was very pretty, but looked darker than the pictures on the Taos website. More of a medium brown. They did not feel that comfortable walking around the house, but maybe have gotten better with wear.

Cute boot but had to return size felt a bit small

Love the style and color (Bordeaux). I have wide feet with high arches and bunions, but the medium width worked great. Love the zipper paired with laces. My heel moves around a bit, but I’ll try a thicker sock. I tried the tall Crave style, but liked this height better. It hits me in my lower calf, which is more flattering on short legs with muscular calves.

I am a standard 9.5 so I got the 40 and they fit perfect. I purchased the Bordeaux and I LOVE the color! Brown/Purple color mixture is perfect. I get lots of compliments and they are truly comfortable to wear all day. 2 days after having these amazing boots I ordered 2 more colors, Graphite & Grey, from another website. If things go as planned for Christmas, my husband will be getting me the Teal and my parents will be getting me the Blue Ink. Clearly I am in love with these boots.

I had these already in red, so I knew I’d love them. Super comfy and can wear for over 10,000 step days!

This is a great boot

These shoes are just amazing! I ended up getting the tall version, though, and might splurge and get these in a different color later. I thought I could get away with getting the Harley Davidson Jammie's instead, cheaper and I love the look. But after wearing them for half a day, forget about it. These are SO much more comfortable and the tall ones feel the same.

I have been eyeing these boots for two years. Finally hit 'buy' and they are absolutely beautiful. The left one feels great - unfortunately, due to an old injury in my right foot I believe, the right one is not comfortable at all. I don't think this is the fault of the boots though and, although I will have to return much to my disappointment, I still recommend these boots highly.

I love these boots! I wear them as often as I can because they are so comfortable. They are well-made, sturdy, and mold to your feet. I can walk for long stretches in them, and I have worn them on airplanes the last few times I have traveled. I am a size 7.5, and the size fits true. I think my friends are tired of seeing them on my feet. I'm bought the light tan color (which I love) but after a year of wearing them, I'm now going to order a pair in black!

Great fit for me. I have slightly wide forefeet and these accommodate them nicely with medium-thickness socks. They rub a little on the ankles, but only enough to be slightly annoying and that might be fixed with a lacing adjustment. The teal color (more green than blue) is unusual and that's my favorite thing about them. Style-wise, these have become my new favorite boots out of about 8 pairs! Materials/craftsmanship are quality. Highly recommend!

OMG, I so totally love these boots! My third pair (3rd color) arrived and I wore them the entire next day through meetings, real estate showings, travel... in total comfort. These are hands down the BEST BOOTS EVER!
