I've had two pair of Bridger Lows in about 10 years. I have a wide forefoot and a med/high volume foot and they fit well. If I'm carrying some weight or on rocky terrain, I like the extra support of the mid-sole, compared to the Sawtooth II, which I also really like for most other light hiking. In spring, you can also kick steps in the snow easier than with the Sawtooths. My only complaint, is that you can't get the Bridger Low in non-waterproof. version. A waterproof low hiker makes absolutely no sense to me, In the many years I've owned these, I can count on one hand, the number of times when I've encountered a wet situation when water or snow wouldn't come over the top of a low cut shoe. If I'm doing anything where I know I'll encounter wet or snowy situations, I wear a high top boot, and gaiters if needed. The waterproof versions are hot and sweaty. Don't give me the line that they're breathable! No waterproof shoe breaths as well as a non-waterproof version, regardless of the type of waterproof, "breathable" material used, especially in hot conditions! Please, please, make a non-waterproof version for those of us who like the extra support of the Bridgers, but dislike how hot and sweaty they are! Thanks!

The Bridger Low shoes are by far the best I have ever had. These are my second pair. First pair lasted 3.5 years. The sole had very little wear. The inside was showing some wear,. Since I use these daily, I replaced them. I switched from Vasque and never looked back.

Great hiking shoes with lots of support and durable soles. My only suggestion would be a loop or tab on the heels to make them easier to put on.

I am on my fourth pair of Sawtooth 2 shoes. I average about 1500 miles of lifespan with these. Best shoes for comfortable hiking in all terrain. Best feature is the snug wrap on the foot and no heel rise.

I've been wearing Oboz Hiking boots since 2019 and that's all I want to wear! This is my first time trying the Bridger and I'm quite happy I did. They are a bit lighter with excellent flexibility. The extra heavy duty rubber toe kick is durable. I changed up the shoelace layout to fit the design of my feet better and they're perfect! The only problem I ever have with any pair of shoes is the crease becomes a major weak spot that fails before anything else. That being said, these still last me 1-2 years depending on how many miles I walk! I'll break a regular pair of sneakers in less than 3 months.

I have just about worn out this, my third pair of these shoes, wearing them every day and walking up to 6 or 7 miles in them every day. The fit is excellent for my slightly-narrower-than medium foot. The foot-bed is the best stock foot-bed I have ever worn: no need to replace with a more expensive after-market model. In my third pair, though, the inside lining at the heel is wearing out: something that did not happen in my first two pair.

Overall, hiking shoe performed extremely well. I ordered the wide shoe. The fit is still slightly snug, however I believe it will break in soon. First hike, believe it or not, was in Bermuda. Traversed some slippery caves, excellent traction and stable on uneven surfaces.

These are fantastic shoes. I have had 6 pairs of Tamaracks which virtually dont wear out - 4 still in use by me and 2 given away. I have gotten the Bridgers because I couldnt find more Tamaracks, and I am delighted that they have the same amazing comfort and support and are a little sleeker visually. I can be on my feet all day, in any conditions, and on any terrain - including concrete - and be perfectly comfortable. Oboz are the best shoes Ive ever had.

Used to wear Merrill boots, tried Obozs about 4 years ago.The soles last longer and the fit is better for my foot. Was wearing the Sawtooth lows, tried the Bridger lows, now i just bought my 2nd pair of Brigers. Great right out of the box. The only thing disappointing is the jump in price. They went from $110.00 two years ago to $160.00 this year. If they go up much more I will be heading back to Merrills.

Fit is awesome out of the box. Build is solid, with good materials. The sole is hard, good for traction but feels a tiny bit like wearing cleats. It is not a failure, but takes a little getting used to. I will update after I have put them through some real tests.
