I ordered a pair online because they were never in stock at my nearest store.
The shoes were highly recommended for people planning on hiking a lot.
I found the shoes very uncomfortable and heavy. The shoes are narrow throughout and did not fit my feet right. They feel more like work boots to be honest. The quality was very good and I can tell someone put a lot of thought into the shoe. I really wanted to like them but they were just not for me. I returned them to my local store and as always, LL Bean was very understanding and professional.

worst shoes ever. They were like walking on rocks. Hurt my feet so bad. I couldn't return them and Oboz wouldn't do anything. Basically they didn't care. So I threw them away. What a waste of all that money. Don't buy them.

I bought these because I was looking for a better waterproof hiking shoe. Something rugged that could take the beating that I give it. However these are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have flat feet so I always make sure I buy wide shoes which I did in this case. The problem lies in the soul of the shoe. It is the hardest rubber I have ever felt. Has no give to it at all. The insole is even worse, it has absolutely no cushion to it, it’s like walking on a rock. I emailed the manufacturers support but they were very unhelpful. Basically I am going to throw away these $150 shoes and find something else.
If you’re looking for comfort as well as a rugged shoe this is definitely not for you.
