This boot is so stylish for a functional rainboot. At first, they seemed a little on the heavy side and slightly stiff, but after wearing them around a few times, they broke in and feel just right. They offer incredible support to my foot and leg. The only thing to note is that they are very refined, as in, my calf sits just perfectly inside of the boot. I have normal-to-smaller sized calves, so if you have large calves, this boot will not work for you. There is no zipper or adjustable means to the boot, and it can be a bit of a challenge pulling the boot off (due to this restriction). Other than that, these are a rainboot to last a lifetime. Also, Zappos is the best. They were the only store to have these in stock, and the shipping was done incredibly quick. Great experience all around.

Wonderful pair of rain boots. Absolutely perfect and gorgeous down to the finest detail. As a could-be-relevant note, I always order a full size larger in any type of boot so that thick fall and winter socks fit in the footbed. Prepared to wax these to prevent blooming, as with all rubber shoes exposed to cold.

These boots are everything that I have ever wanted in a rain boot. The overall look is simple yet chic. They are not chunky or heavy at all. The only downside is that they seem a bit difficult to take off. I tried them on without socks at first and even with socks on, they were a little hard to take off. Otherwise, I would highly recommend purchasing these. I am 5'5" and very slim with long legs. These compliment my proportions well and aren't too loose on my calves, they're just right. I am a size 9 on average but these feel a half size bigger which I do not really mind. If you are eying them, get them!

These boots are great for those with narrow feet and calves. They look really cute with casual clothes on rainy / stormy days and also professional enough for a walk to to the office in business attire.

I can wear a size 4 in the kids, and a size 5 in the original. However I purchased these in a 6. I have skinny legs and feet so the shaft circumference wasn't an issue, but the way that the refined boots have a less rounded front made the shoe too short for my silly long toes. I do not have wide feet but find myself sizing up often just because of how my toes start earlier cos they're longer, making the widest part of my foot at a point where the regular shoe bed doesn't coincide. When I wore the 5s you could see my toes pressed and crammed up against the shoe from the outside. I am typically a size 5-5.5, rarely 6 when I have toe issues. I would not recommend sizing down in these. The slight looseness can be easily overcome with some inserts which u can place beneath the hunter ones.

I love these! I have the original hunter tall boots and I've loved them, but they're so big and clunky. I feel like I should be on a farm milking cows when I wear them. These are like the name says: refined. Sleeker and more feminine. I am a US size 6 and I wear a 5 in the original style. These are slimmer so I ordered my regular size 6 and they fit great. I also recommend the boot shine sponge to keep the white bloom away.

My gf is a 8 1/2 and I read to go down a size so I got an 8 and they fit her perfect! They are beautiful, comfortable, and look so amazing. She loves them!

Lovely casual or dress up rain boot!

Love these boots, I think they’re so cute and stylish. Love wearing them with my black leggings/or skinny jeans and high cable knit socks so they peek up at the top. Knocked off a star for comfort because this style doesn’t bend well for obvious reasons around the front of part my ankle so it’s a little uncomfortable walking down the stairs. I have a young toddler so scrouching down to his level while wearing these is not really possible either. Usually boots are too wide on my calf and these are perfect, keep that in mind if you have a wider calf as these may not work for you! I wore them in very cold temps with a little snow outside and my toes were cold... these are not for extended periods outside in cold weather.

Been wanting Hunter boots for awhile. Love them. Not disappointed at all.

A bit expensive for rain boots, but I really like the fact that it's sleek and doesn't look like your typical rain boots, but more like just riding boots. Fit is really great. A bit hard to take off but nothing too deal breaking. Great cushion foot bed compare to most rain boots.

I absolutely love my boots! I literally want it to rain everyday now just so I can wear these babies! They look and feel great. The buckle in the back is not only cute and trendy but it also allows for extra calf room. I'm petite so don't really need to adjust but it's good to have that. The comfort is unreal. It takes a day or so to break them in but afterwards, you're good to go. I'm buying red ones next! I definitely recommend.

I ordered these in a size 8. While they are cute and stylish, they're really tight around my calf and my legs aren't even big. That's my only issue with this boot. Other than that this boot is cute.

great pair of boots. fit very similar to the regular hunter boots - except maybe a little taller. ive got really narrow calves, and these fit great - not tight, but definitely not flopping everywhere like most rain boots. i love the style on these, they look just like the picture. highly recommend.

Love these boots! I really like how the foot part of the boot isn't as clunky as the previous version. the straps in the back add a little something to an otherwise plain boot. I ordered the black boots, which came "bloomed." I washed them with soapy water and polished them with Hunter boot shine, and they looked great! I do think the calf circumference is slightly narrow, so if you are a wide calf, you may not want this particular style.

I had the original Hunters in black, loved them but they turned white and were clunky. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in shoes but I have a 7 in these and they fit pretty well, they are a little snug when I wear thick socks or insoles but it's worth it to have less of a slimmer look, I tried the 8 and they were huge. The refined boot is a shiny matte and looks much more luxurious and so far the color has not turned white even with snow and salt. These are so chic and I look forward to rain and snow so I can wear them

I love the way these boots look! First, I purchased the Hunter Original Tall boots, but they were unflattering and bulky around the ankle. The Refined is much better looking! The only issue is that the boot comes up past the back of my knee causing limited range of motion. I believe this is because I am 5'2. Taller people would not have this issue. I have difficulty kneeling down and squatting while wearing these boots. They are also a little narrow. I like them anyway....

I love these boots. I tried on some Hunter boots years ago, but they weren't comfortable. They were just too wide for my feet and my legs. I am skinny. ;) I wear my regular size 9 and I can fit in a sock and a boot sock. I tried the original Hunter Boot Socks, but they were too big and didn't feel right. I went with the UGG Boot Socks and they work perfectly. The rubber started to bloom really fast. The Boot Buffer Spray took care of that really well. I was afraid, it would make the boots shiny, but they stayed matte. I own the black boots.

Super cute! Nice replacement for older Hunters that I've had for years. I like the more refined matte style of these. I did have to exchange for a size up, both for foot and leg room.

Great rain boot. I've got skinny legs and this boot fits nicely with a boot sock. They are not as wide as the Original Tall Boot and that's great. My foot doesn't slide. It also sits pretty snug at the ankle.

Love these hunters. Narrow sleek style. Width fit my narrow feet perfectly. I have puny calfs and they fit perfectly. I would not recommend for someone with large calves. Purchased my regular boot size

I love these boots super cute much better than the original. I got a size up and it fits really comfortable with socks, sort of expensive for rain boots but worth every penny. Zappos is super AMAZING! Got my boots the next day literally.
