Comfortable, true to size and width, and cute! These fit comfortably even wide, bunion-ed feet. I was able to wear all day right out of the box. A very unusual occurrence!

A black leather Mary Jane is my go-to three-season "everyday" shoe. I am outside a good deal walking my dog, and while I don't need a hiking shoe, I need something that is comfortable, flat, well-fitting on my 7M feet, and that gives a bit of support on the sides as I go up and down hills, sometimes sideways. I prefer a lighter weight shoe like these. I don't care about arch support one way or the other. These shoes were comfortable straight out of the box, but I've worn them daily for a week or so to give a more nuanced review. They are perfect--comfortable with no rubs or red areas, plenty of room in the toe box and securely-fitting in the heels, sturdy without being clunky or heavy. I always wear them with socks--for me, these are a fairly casual shoe. They work well with jeans and with nicer slacks outfits, but I do not use them for church or dressier occasions. The styling is attractive--enough detail to add interest, but not at all "fussy." I would recommend these and give more than five stars if I could.

These are so cute; ordered the red in 7D. I have a 7 and a 7.5 foot, as measured by The Good Feet Store. But, Rockport 7W usually fit both feet well. This little cutie was really comfortable in the toe box, just wide enough. The heel would have slipped off my very narrow heels but for the straps. The fit was great, but, was too pricey and a little too "earthy" for me. If you want a comfortable, casual shoe with great arch support, this would be fine, if the price is in your ballpark.

This shoe fits well (actually a fairly roomy toe box for a narrow shoe) and has decent support in the heel and mid foot arch if one is standing a lot. No support in the ball of the foot so I can imagine hurting if I walk very far. The style is not my favorite but I like that the shoe stays on and is the best office wear shoe I’ve found so far that will put up with some walking. Still trying to decide. I’ll compare with some others.

These would have worked for me (in a wide width) except that strap was too short to reach across my high instep. Too bad - the shoe itself was very pretty!

I so badly wanted these to work with the angle of the toe not being straight across, but it still cut into the top of my foot. With normal socks, it would be even worse. I was also disappointed in the footbed. It looks like it would be really cushy, but there isn't much padding there and almost no arch support. These are going back.

I've ordered and worn these shoes for years! This new pair had very scratchy threads sewn into the shoe where the heel piece meets on the side and top of outside heel area. The scratchy material poked my ankle, and was very uncomfortable. Will return.

Very happy I bought the Cobb Hill Petra shoe. The fit was perfect with a wide enought toe space. These are the first pair of shoes I did not have to return. They are comfortble to ware but thought the support in the shoe was a little weak, but I still love them.

The extra wide was perfect! I tried W but returned it and ordered WW and it was instantly comfortable.

These were cute and fit well . The top strap is too short for my high arch and didn't reach the velcro fastener.

These a fabulous! I wear them with jeans, casual skirts and shorts. It is hard to find shoes that are super cute and super wide. These are both. They've worn well and are super comfortable. I wear them without socks. I forget that I have them on!

I wear an 8.5 and these fit perfectly in that size. I bought these several years ago because I wanted a leather walking shoe that wasn't a sneaker. These were perfect, and I walked all over France on a 10 day trip where I sometimes put 11 miles a day on these shoes. My feet felt just as comfortable at the end of the day as they did at the beginning. The soles worked great on cobblestones, gravel or sidewalks and always felt secure. The velcro strap makes it easy to wear these more snugly with just a sock liner, or to allow more space with a regular sock. I've worn them with jeans or on business trips with slacks and they work either way. I've had them for 3 years now and they are beginning to look a little tired so I'm buying another pair.

Finally! A shoe I can wear with a skirt and also walk for a long distance. I normally wear 6-1/2 2E but it was too big. The 6 2E fit much better. Order 1/2 size smaller than your normal size. They are comfortable and have padding and reasonable support. They look somewhat orthopedic but any shoe in this size and style is going to look that way. I have a wide toe and narrow heel and need a strap to keep the shoes on my feet. I also need comfort and support because I will be walking in them for several hours at a time. These check all the boxes.

I go between 9.5 and 10. I ordered size 10 but had to exchange for 9.5. They are very comfortable and stylish. I like the strap is long enough to get a nice fit. The toe box is roomy, and the heel is narrow and doesn't slide off. They felt good right out of the box, no breaking in time. They are light in weight, love that. Zappos makes it easy to return. I have no printer so I take a picture of the code they send. Then take to UPS, who scans the code, hands me a receipt and I'm on my way! Easy!

This is my second pair of the same shoe. I need Xwide so my choices are VERY limited! The first pair of these shoes wore for about 2 years, daily wear. They held up great but eventually needed replacing. The quality is excellent. The leather has held up despite my lack of care - never polished, just wiped with damp towel. The adjustable strap was a life saver as my feet swell and then deflate in the morning. I wish there were more colors and availablity of the width. Hint, Hint!

These shoes are super comfortable and they have style. They look good with casual pants and dresses. They are sturdy/supportive but not at all bulky. And the designs are very subtle (so not too cutesy).

I have had several pairs of Cobb Hill Petra shoes over the years and keep coming back to them. They wear and hold up well, they are very comfortable, and make a good looking easy walking shoe. (I do not like the look of athletic shoes and wanted a substitute for walking.) I like most of the Cobb Hill line of shoes, actually.

The fit on these were good. Very easy to wear!

These are the 4th pair of Cobb Hill Petra's I have had Red, Blue, Light Brown, and now darker brown. My orthotics fit in them and that makes them wearable for very difficult and tender feet. I really like the style and I receive compliments every time I wear them.
