I was expecting a much more comfortable shoe. The footbed was not soft enough and I have to return them.

The top part of shoe cut into the side bone of my big toe.

These shoes are attractive, nicely made, and potentially very comfortable, but I just couldn't get the fit right. My usual size is 6 1/2 medium, and that's what I ordered first, but they were a bit tight. They weren't really uncomfortable in a brief try-on, but they squished the flesh of the foot unattractively at the front. So I ordered 6 1/2 wide. Th width was roomy and comfortable, and no more squishing, but they were absurdly long, perhaps a full size too long. More room than needed at the toe and a good 1/3" gap at the back. I'm trying to decide whether to give 6 wide a go, or just give up at this point.

I wanted to like these, but had 2 issues. First, the shoes were not the same size (though they were both marked 10W). One was comfortable, and one was too small. And the one that was too small was on my smaller foot! The straps on both were too long.

I liked the shoes and did some walking around in the house with them on......as usual my bunionette on my left foot felt the pressure from the stitching in that location. Otherwise I would have kept them. Again Zappos thank you for your outstanding service.

Love the pewter color it's more of a distressed black with a hint of silver. Goes well with almost everything. The shoe runs wide, I had to get heel grips to make the narrow fit.

Shoe runs wide, length is fine. Looks great with nylons or no socks. But wearing socks ruins the look of the shoe.

This shoe is cute, and the extra wide fit really well around the ball of my foot, where the foot is actually wide, but I had the typical problem with wide shoes in that the heel was slipping all over the place. Also, the shoe felt very "minimalist" under my foot with virtually no cushioning or feeling of support. I had a couple of similar styles here from Clarks to try on at the same time, so could really feel the difference in comfort. I had to return these.

I really wanted this shoe. I am 39 years old and comfort and style are my unicorn. I have had problems finding good fitting and comfortable shoes for a few years now. I had PF surgery, and continue to have PF pain. Too add to it, I recently learned that I have a bone spur in my big toe joint that is causing a bunion...and a lot of pain. My doctor suggested finding a shoe with a wider toe box. I have tried Dansko, Alegria, Clarks, Trotters, Taos, but nothing seemed to work. I have a narrow foot and heel, plus one foot is 1/2-1 size larger than the other (depending on the shoe.) I also wear my own insoles. When I found these shoes I was excited to find a shoe with possibilities. The toe box was comfortable, the velcro strap adjustable, the insoles are removable, but the shoe slipped a little at my heel. My normal shoe is a size 9. I tried 8w, 8.5m, 8.5w, 9m and 9w. the 8w was perfect in width, just a little too short. The 8.5m was a tiny bit too short and tighter in the toebox. 8.5w was too long, good in the toe box, but too wide in the strap and heel. the 9m was good in the toe box, but too wide and too long overall. The 9w was just too big overall. I know a wider shoe should only be wider and not longer, but after trying on every pair in my range, it feels like the wider shoe is also longer. I think I will have to keep searching for the perfect shoe...if it exists. Thank you Zappos for your return policy and 1-day shipping. It's difficult to find shoes for foot problems in stores, and if you do, there usually are not multiple sizes and widths to try. Understanding the needs of your customers is why I will continue to shop here.

Returned as they were much too big.

I debated on these a long time, and had these been slightly wider or had decent arch support, I would've kept them. But ultimately the WW toe box -- while an attractive shape with the diagonals (rather than straight-across) lines, were just slightly too tight on my toes/bunion. Had they had arch support for high arches, I'd have tried stretching them, but I knew it was a risk since adding an arch insole would've also taken up precious toe room. They're not the highest quality -- the leather is hard, the flowery details childish, and I went through 4 pairs of the Almond Petras, and every single one looked like they were painted with a paintbrush -- but if they fit, they're fairly cute for some relatively inexpensive everyday shoes.

I really wanted to love these shoes and tried them in two different sizes, but they just felt too long. The heel kept slipping off.

Seemed comfortable enough, but I did not care for the style when I saw them in person. More of a funky shoe than pretty. Returned.

Fit, size is good, quality is okay. Not as comfortable as I need & not enough arch support for me. I'm used to Naot, but decided to try this shoe because of the price & generally good reviews.

I am on the fence as I've never had a Mary Jane shoe thus the average rating (my feet used to be too fat for a Mary Jane - my foot would poof up around the strap). There didn't seem to be a lot of lift, with the sole really flat, and it seemed to make my foot look long. The leather felt fine; the pewter is a pretty color with a purplish sheen, and the brown is a rich color, not reddish as it appeared on my monitor. I tried both 8.5 and 9 in both pewter and brown, both felt too small, but, oddly enough one of the 9s felt smaller than the 8.5 (not both colors). My heel seemed to slip out of both sizes, and the 8.5 felt pretty snug on the top of my foot. I felt I had to latch down too tightly to keep my feet in the shoe and not slip. I bought two sizes as I'm unsure on my shoe size; I've lost a lot of weight, and my normally longer wider feet with narrow heel seemed to have shrunk.

This shoe was comfortable but not the color I was looking for.

I really wanted these to work, but they just fit oddly. The toe box was a smidge tighter than I want and the heel too loose. They were less padded than expected. The biggest problem is that they are less structured than I expect from a 'comfort shoe' My foot had too much play and I knew I'd turn an ankle. They might work for you if you aren't prone to randomly turning an ankle for no apparent reason. They look pretty good.

They were a bit stiff and uncomfortable, not the shoe I was looking for.

Did not fit my feet. Too wide in tie area. Will return.
