I ordered my normal size in this boot and it was very large, at least a whole size. I then ordered a size smaller and it was really small, smashing my toes. The style is great and it looks just like it does online and I do have to say that if I could have found the right size, the comfort elsewhere (heel, bed, etc.)would have been good. The leather is a bit less quality than other Docs I have owned. In fact, it was quite a bit less. If you can find the right size and don’t mind less quality than the days of old, then it might be your boot.

I really wanted to like these boots. I have been looking for a good quality fold over combat style boot for months and finally came across these. They are great quality and very cute EXCEPT the sole is way too thick and clunky for my taste. I know it is Doc Martens standard look but I wish they could get away from this.

good looking boot, and comfortable as well. the 10 was much to big, and the nine was to small. unfortunately I have to return them.

The fit was fine, aside from the width. Along the side, where the stitching hits my foot, it felt too narrow. More than anything, however, the sound of the shoes was annoying. I don't know if the lining with the fabric on the inside of the shoe was paper or what, but it sounded like a newspaper. The leather also seemed way cheaper than I remembered a Doc Marten to be.

I have an older pair of Aimilitas (got them several years ago) and out of the box the leather was super-soft. They are stiff and uncomfortable, not the same. I'll be sending them back.
