I wear 7 and found this shoe to be too long however, ordered the next size down and fit is much better. So far so good!

Love the shoe, but hated the straps. They aren't stretchy and were tight for me. So I actually got black elastic and cut the original straps off. I then sewed in the black elastic. These shoes are now perfect! Very comfortable.

I wanted these shoes to fit, but my big toe rubbed too much, even in the wide width. Super cute and comfortable otherwise.

Cute and comfy. My usual European size is 39 - these run a little wide and a little long, so a 38 fits well. The strap length is good for me - the instep part of my foot is narrow, so that must be why it fits me better than it has for others. The only complaint is that it rubs slightly at big toe joint. No blister but I "feel" it. But I am wearing them daily - with and without socks - to hopefully stretch that out before my trip.

Good space in the toe area. Nice secure strap although not quite long enough for my high arches. Will probably send back because these are not as comfortable as the ECCO Sport Lynx Mary Janes.

Nice comfortable shoes but not as much support as most Danskos.

These are my second pair of Danskos. I bought them to walk around during an upcoming vacation and have been wearing them during my nightly dog walks to make sure they are comfortable. They have plenty of support. My only complaint is that they are rather inflexible in the insole. I feel a bit like I'm clunking down with straight flat feet, a bit like clown shoes especially when walking through stores and the noise echoes. I took another reviewer's recommendation and got the sleuth style smartwool socks, they work well except that they are still visible in the toe area. But I'll still wear them, as support is the most important factor in my footwear.

Loved the style but didn't feel the shoe had the arch support as the clogs do, so back it goes. If arch support isn't important to you, these shoes are very nice, in the way that they'll go with so many things, summer and into fall. These are very comfortable and supportive with excellent arch support. Also there was enough room in the toes so that there was no pressure on my bunions. I could not find my size. I usually wear a size 8. I tried the 39, but that left my feet sliding around in the shoes. I tried the 38, but my toes were up against the end of the shoe. I ended up returning both of them, unfortunately.

I wanted to like this shoe but the straps are too short and I don't have a wide foot. Also I think it would be better with the ability to wear with or without the strap.

Very comfy toe box without looking clunky. Not as supportive as I'd like, but still good. (Maybe related to the strap). I really like the looks. These semi-sneakers could go almost anywhere, so I bought them in two colors. Four stars instead of five because of the strap. I have a narrow foot and high arch. The strap is too long. (I notice another reviewer says it is too short.). This could be solved by a better design. Perhaps a wider expanse of Velcro, or better yet, a buckle like Chaco uses. I will be taking my Hazels to the cobbler to do whatever she can to make the strap work for me.

As a woman who's feet went from "a little wide" to "wide" during pregnancy (and haven't gone back), I was really hoping these would work for me. They are cuter in person and lightweight, but I could barely get the strap to secure across the top of my foot and, even then, I could tell that they are too narrow to provide the support I need out of a pair of almost-hundred-dollar-mom-shoes. If you have non-Flintstone feet, you'll like these just fine!

Loved these! So cute and comfortable. Had to return them as the strap had no stretch and was not long enough for my wide foot! I couldn't get it to fasten! I was bummed as everything else about these was perfect.

Got them for walking in the city and they're OK. Durable sole, easy to adjust the fit, could use more arch support. I wear a size 9 and got the 39s, and find that they hug just a teeny bit at the big toe, and they can only accommodate the thickness of thin tights. I got them in blue and like them enough to consider getting a larger size in black so I can wear them when it gets colder. I like the reflective stitching.

Cute, comfortable shoe. The toe box is so large, I wasn't sure if I should send the shoes back for a smaller size, but the insole fit my feet perfectly, and it was very nice not having my toes pushed together. The adjustable Velcro closure is also a plus.

Danske Hazel are great! Blue suede was not my first color choice but the black was out of stock in my size so I ordered blue. The blue is a nice slightly alternative and they have a subtle reflective stitching on the adjustable straps that zigzag over the foot. Dansko sizing is a bit befuddling though. I ordered two different shoe styles, although similar. The other one was perfect in size 37, but the Hazel style had to be exchanged for a 38. I had hoped for a little more support (the heel seems to hit a bit hard when walking) in both Dansko styles but they are still cute and functional shoes.

Very comfortable but slightly itchy/hot when worn without socks. I plan to wear them with tights for most of the year, so that should be okay, but in my regular Dansko size they would not fit with thicker socks. They manage to look either sporty or cute.

I’m so bummed. My previous pair lasted 3 summers and were the best summer shoes ever (I live in NYC, so walk an avg of 4 mi/day, 7-8 mi/day on weekends). I bought a new pair this spring and the sides are higher and rub under my ankles and on my heels. Even after wearing them now for 4 months, I still have to wear 4 bandaids to prevent blisters. The only improvement from my old pair is that these don’t smell after a long day of sweaty feet and I had to use foot powder in the old pair.

These look nice, but do not have the kind of support the leather Dansko mary janes have.

I like this shoe. I bought it when other colors were offered. Since then the shoe seems to have been modified for the better. That being said - There is one deal breaker one thing that bothers me with this Hazel model and another almost identical Dansko MJ style in leather is that the outer side of the shoe wall that extends towards the ankle bone is too high. It hits my ankle bones on the outside to he point where I have to where adhesive ankle padding to wear the shoe. I'm seriously thinking of bringing the 2 pairs to a shoe repair to cut down the outside wall of the shoe to eliminate the problem. If I can't resolve the problem via shoe repair, I will be donating them. The newer model Haven is cut lower and does not injure my ankle bones. I will buy more of the Haven.

Cute shoe! So sad, the stitching on the side of the shoe bothered my feet so I had to send them back. Zappos does a great job delivering and with returns.

More arch support in previous models - what happened??? Shoe used to have excellent arch support. I own two pairs purchased in 2016. Now wanted another pair because besides Birkenstock Arizona this was a shoe I truly lived in. To my disappointment (after trying a pair from Zappos, then Nordstrom’s, I found that there is less arch support. When I contacted Dansko they said they were not aware of any changes, but would pass my message on. Not only can you feel that it has less arch support, but you can also see it when you compare the 2018 models to the 2016 models: same shoe, same color, nothing changed besides the arch support being less. For that reason I cannot wear this shoe any longer. Please bring back the nice arch support. Was the manufacturing moved to another factory? It’s a mystery. Dansko should be aware of it.

Had to return. Not much cushioning for walking and elastic was not comfortable. Cute shoes but moved too much when walking.

I returned these shoes as the strap was tight across my left foot only. The shoes seemed comfortable otherwise.

I ordered a 42 based on reviews, though I usually take a 41. The 42 is about the right length, but overall the shoe is too large. But I can tell the 41 would feel too short. Also, the strap cuts into my foot. But, these are good-looking shoes.
