Love the look of these shoes, the firmness of the support compared to others I ordered and that the adjustable cross straps don't stretch. The toe box is super roomy but the length is short. I wear a medium 11 and had to exchange for a 42 -- 11.5-12. They run that short.These will be great for all-around walking.

Bought this from a comfortable shoe store locally and love it. Comfortable, slightly supportive but the insole slipped out to allow my own orthoses. Super cute with jeans or skirts. No break-in required as they were comfy out of the box. Only slight negative is that my foot is thin (not narrow just skinny!) and the ankle strap is on its last 1/4 in or so of Velcro so I may have to add some further down the strap but it's an easy fix and well worth it. I measure an 11/11.5 left/right and the 42 fits perfectly.

This sort of shoe is right up my alley, so I couldn't resist ordering it to try. In fact, I have a pair of Clarks Privos in a similar color and style, so I really should not be keeping these, but I think I'm going to because they are so incredibly comfortable that I didn't want to take them off. My Privos are pretty good too, for a cuter shoe, but this shoe manages to be cute and have me not want to take it off. My only issue is that the strap is a little short or my foot is a little wide, so it is just barely long enough, but I think it is going to work. I got the wine suede, which is a little more maroon than it looks online, where it looks more plum. Still super cute.

These are my go to shoes. I bought them to replace a similar style Merrell. The Velcro that holds the strap to the she is pretty worthless. I have a narrow foot and when I tighten the strap there is very little Velcro to attach and it pops off the shoe at times. I also feel like the bottom of the shoe narrows a bit and I have rolled an ankle once or twice because of this. They are cute. I bought a more cushiony insert and added it to the shoe.

I ordered these shoes because I wanted shoes that could pass for work shoes but were more comfortable than traditional women's dress shoes. A year later, these shoes still look knew and are as comfortable as when I first purchased them. One caveat though--the velcro that holds the strap down at the end isn't that good, and it pulls loose easily if you're walking around a lot. I wouldn't recommend these shoes for people who have to bend/kneel/lift a great deal.

This is a cute shoe for a flat shoe. I bought my usual size and it works fine. Perhaps not with heavy socks .. Don't know if I'd do long walks until they're somewhat broken in .. Well made. I'm happy with them.

Toe box felt too small. Otherwise comfortable. But I also decided that the crisscross would look strange with real socks and I want something that will work both in the summer and winter, if possible.

Love these shoes, but they are way too wide. I never have this problem. too bad as they are cute and comfy.

Cute, but not right for me. This shoe runs very narrow, and also cut into my ankle bones. It's a snug shoe which makes it appear smaller, nice for those of us with large feet, large NARROW feet. Also: it has no arch support. I was hoping to slip an insert in but there is no room for it and my foot in the shoe. Too bad. Back hazel goes.

The shoe seams very well made, but the strap is fixed length, no strech in it at all so it will fit only within small range of arch height. I am not one of them. :(

The shoe is nice and was comfortable at first. After wearing for a day I had a rub wound on the sides of my feet. I am going to try wearing them again with socks, which defeats the purpose since I bought them to wear to work with dress pants and they are Mary Janes.

The length is perfect. I did not care for the strap. One the shoe was on and the strap is connected to the Velcro, there was little space to hold the strap in place. that's why I gave it 4 stars

These are so cute, but not enough arch support for me.

Love these shoes and have traveled with them all over the world. My only complaint--please listen Dansko!!!--the strap needs to be just a little longer. When my feet swell on airplanes, they are hard to strap. But I'm buying another pair after almost 1.5 years of hard use because I love them so much. I've worn them as water shoes while floating down the river, for hiking when the going isn't too rough, and for dress-up.

I was looking for an easy slip on sneaker or Mary Jane. I purchased the 37 in wide. I usually wear a 6 1/2W or 7. This shoe fit great width and length wise. However, I have high arches so although it did have some arch support, it wasn't quite enough arch support for me. Also the straps across the top just barely were long enough (probably because of my high arches). I also didn't like the strap material (no stretch) and wondered if the Velcro that is used to secure the straps would wear out over time.

Adorable and comfortable. Dansko never lets me down. Yes, the strap across the foot is a tad bit short -- I can still work it but if you've got a high arch, you might have a problem. A strange place to be stingy on material. Otherwise, fab.

Dansko is my favorite shoe brand, and I really hoped that these would work as a summer alternative to clogs. Unfortunately, the Hazel just wasn't flattering on me. The rounded toe and criss-cross strap created a "little girl" look that I didn't care for. On the other hand, the shoe seemed lightweight and comfortable. Sizing info: I wear size 38 in Dansko clogs. I was unsure about this style, so I tried both 37 and 38. 37 (with no socks) was the better fit. Thanks Zappos for outstanding customer service!

The criss-cross straps did not seem long enough to comfortably fasten with the velcro and I was worried that the velcro would not hold, even though I do not have a high arch. The shoe was comfortable for my plantar fasciitis, but for some reason seem to irritate the bone in my big toe. Had to return.

Nice shoes, very comfortable and good arch support but the straps are too short for my high instep, so I had to return them.

I have wide feet, bunions, and most recently plantar fasciitis. I am looking for comfortable, non atheltic shoes, for traveling. I ordered the blue print in 38 W and the navy in 39. As another reviewer wrote, the print and the straps don't match. But the shoe width fit and the padded shoe bed was comfortable. The Navy was very attractive and I wanted it to work, I couldn't tell which size would be the best for me, because in both pairs there's a seam right where my bunion resides and it started to "scream" before I could decide. I'm sad to have to send both of them back.

Cute shoe and fairly comfortable. I think the straps are over-done. Crossing over the shoe once or twice diagonally would have been sufficient. Otherwise, super cute!

Strap was not long enough. Loved the style but had to return as I couldn't connect the strap at all.

I am an 8 1/2 medium tried and try but Dansko clogs I wear a 39. They are always roomy but the 38 is too short for my foot. That being said these slip ons in a 39 are comfortable but roomy. I've worn them twice and by the end of the day when my feet are a bit swollen (I'm guessing) they're perfect, not tight or uncomfortable. I just wish the strap had a bit more velcro for me to tighten. They feel loose in the morning but not enough to return them because the strap helps.

I bought these shoes for my Mom for her birthday. She wore out her Merrell Mary Jane shoes that she loved for many years. They don't make the same style but I found these and we are both Dansko clog wearers. These are very cute, nice to have adjustable straps for great fit. She takes half size larger than me but when I tried them on when they arrived they fit me great and I loved them. Perfect for Spring and Summer without socks, seem great for walking. So I kept them and got next larger size for her. She loves hers too. Instantly comfy with great support. I could have probably gotten my usual size but I think they would be just a tad short. The only thing I don't like is the rigid back of the shoe. It rubs on one heel. Not an issue for my Mom so it might just be my issue and not the shoe. I tend to wear clogs or shoes without backs to them because heel rubbing has been an issue with other shoes at times. I have worn them a few times and still love them, hoping the top of the back will get more comfortable. These shoes are wide but not quite as wide toe box as Dansko clogs and feel a little shorter than the Dansko clogs, so if you're between sizes, I would order up. Otherwise, usual size would probably work fine. The black print is cute. Would give 4.5 stars.

True to Dansko reputation, these are supportive, incredibly comfortable, sturdy shoes. I was looking for something I could walk a distance in, slide on and off easily at yoga, etc., and I wanted them to be lightweight while still meeting all of those other criteria. These shoes check every box. They rubbed a bit on the sides of my heels my first time out (but that is likely my own fault for going too far, too soon in brand new shoes). Subsequent strolls have been wonderful. Dansko continues to be my go-to for my every shoe need!
