My wife had a bad ankle injury. These shoes are extremely comfortable for her. They give her the support she needs and allow her to walk comfortably. After trying these we bought a second pair in grey.

I really like these and wanted to make them work. I normally wear an 8.5. I tried the size 38 and it was too narrow but the size 39 was too long and I felt like they flopped when I walked. I tried thicker socks and also tried inserts, but I still could not make them work for the price that they are asking. I like Dansko, but the shoe better fit if I am going to pay that much. I hope others have better luck!

These were absolutely wonderful from the moment I put them on. They look great and they are super comfy. I didn't have to break them in at all. I'm usually wearing running shoes so I was a little weary of walking around in these for an extended period, but I was so comfortable in them. They have excellent arch support. Well worth every penny!

These are lovely shoes, but surprising narrow for Dansko. The footbed is very well padded and the seem like they'd be great for walking around town, but due to the width I have to return them.

I loved this boot, but although it was comfortable overall, the toe box wasn't wide enough. This was especially disappointing because Dansko is known for a wide toe box.

First noticed these and added to favorites as was undecided if should order. After reading other reviews I decided to give these a try. Glad I took the chance. Have difficult time finding shoes/boots that fit my custom orthotics and still feel and look good. These fit the bill perfectly. Insole easy to remove and fit orthotics. Have to say insole itself has decent arch and good cushioning but my feet are very sensitive and need custom orthotics. There is ample room in toe box without looking "big" on the outside. The wedge is just the right height. If unsure take a chance and you may love them as much as I do. Remember Zappos has easy no hassle returns.

Cute, basic, comfortable bootie/ hi-cut oxford with a nice cushioned sole. I imagine they would be comfortable to wear while standing or walking all day. However, for the price, I expect style in addition to comfort, so back they go.

I love these shoes. They are very attractive, stylish, trendy, comfy, and give great support. This is the third pair of Dansko boots or booties that I have purchased. I love having the latest styles, but I don't have model perfect feet. I wear a size 11, have flat wide feet, and swollen ankles due to my R.A. However, Dankso boots/booties make me really happy. This brand and shoe is a great way for people like me to have something cute and trendy! I love them and Zappos, the greatest shoe company on earth!

These are surprisingly good on all fronts: More comfortable than some of the more "modern" Dansko styles I've tried; solid and supportive, and also cute. I wasn't sure they were cute, looking at the pics online, but I ordered in a whole bunch of boots to try, and these were by far the cutest. Something about them just seems kind of fresh and right right now -- like, with skirts as much as with jeans. If you're considering them, give them a try. I really like them.

Wonderful service! Love these shoes! Great fit, stylish, comfortable. Due to bunions, I have great difficulty finding shoes that fit and are comfortable at the end of the day.

I'm unfortunately returning this shoe. I so wanted it to work, but I couldn't even get my foot in it! I have a mild-to-moderate bunion. It isn't painful as long as I wear proper footwear and a guard. I saw a previous review from someone that had bunion surgery, so I thought this might work. But, it is super narrow. I've never had this problem before, and I really only order wider shoes in order for them not to irritate my bunion, as my feet aren't actually wide.

Am I glad I gave these shoes a chance! Looking for comfort and style...saw these, read the rave reviews so I thought I'd give them a try. Very stylish and oh so comfy!! Love the color, also. I wear an 8 medium and that's what I ordered and they were perfect. They run true to size.

Such an awesome boot. My feet hurt even in what are considered "comfort" shoes and I could literally wear these all day long. They're as comfy as slippers.

The shoe is so comfy -- except for the toe. My toe touches the front of the shoe. I'm going to try the larger size, which I've never had to do.

These are comfortable and right on target with the size. But my ankle is small and I could not get the shoe to tie tight enough to hold my foot down in the shoe.

These are very cute looking shoes. The insole is very insubstantial - not cushiony and almost no arch support. The inside bottom of the shoe does have some shape to it so there is some arch support, but not enough. I have an old pair of Dansko Harlows and the insole is perfect for my high arch. I have never found a pair of Danskos since that has the same insole. It seems all the more recent models have less arch support.

This is a very comfortable shoe, and it looked cute online. In person, not so much. The style looks a lot like a work boot. I have not decided if I am going to keep it or not. For the price, I think I would prefer both looks and comfort.

These booties are very comfortable, but they are quite ugly. They look like cheap work boots. I might keep them for the comfort and support they provide to wear when I'm going to be on my feet for long periods of time. Definitely an A+ on comfort. I just wish they looked nicer.

My teenage daughter is going to be mad! Now I have booties that look as cute as hers without killing my feet. I had written this style off as being to young for me, but Dansko comes through again. Now I can be a hip mom!

For those who need arch support, these shoes are what you may be looking for. I consistently wear Dansko clogs through the fall and winter months. I've been wearing them for years because I have plantar fasciitis and the clogs keep it in check. However, these short boots may be my new go-to. They are not as clunky and heavy as the clogs and have the arch support I need. I know they're pricey but I am willing to pay for comfort and care.

Great stylish and comfortable shoe. These shoes provide the cushioning and arch support I need for my high arches and to avoid aggravating my chronic plantar fasciitis. I can walk blocks and blocks in the city comfortably. Very happy with these, and of course Zappos is wonderful.

Ordered yesterday; received today, and I couldn't be happier with these little boots. I usually can t stray off of the stapled clog footbed that healed the plantar fasciitis, but these are completely compatible with that original feel. The height snugs at just the right place on the ankle, no rubbing; and the footbed is cushy without losing that feeling of arch and overall support. Nicest of all is getting to wear a Dansko shoe that makes the foot look trim and less cloggy. The rubber sole on the bottom of the boot isn t as wide as the classic clog, but it s just as easy to walk on. Zappos can testify to how many times I've tried a Dansko other than stapled and had to return. I'm so so so happy to find these. Dansko: make it in more colors!

Could this be a sign that Dansko is returning to its roots--making comfortable shoes? I have had many pairs for decades, but as they have worn out, I have found that newer models were not as well made or roomy in the toe box. Not so with these. They are the kind of shoe that is comfortable right out of the box, no rubbing or squeezing! I really like how "squishy" the sole is. If you walk or stand a lot, try these. They look much cuter in person, to boot (pun intended)!

These are very comfortable. I stand all day and these shoes are terrific. A little height with great support and a little style. I wear a 10½-11 and a little wider than average. The 42 would be like a size 11M. I would not recommend these for narrow feet.

I purchased these shoes for a Fall vacation where I'd be doing a lot of walking. I've had bunion surgery on both feet & needed comfortable supportive shoes. I wore them all day without issues. Tried Danskos many years ago & found them uncomfortable. Glad I gave them another try. The grey to go with my travel wardrobe; grey & black base with pops of color. I'm thrilled with the color, fit & comfort. Finding these shoes locally was a huge undertaking. You'd think that our local stores such as Macy's, Nordstrom & Sole Desire would have these in stock, that's a big Nope! I even called Dansko to see where I might find these in my area but they were unable to locate a retail store for me. They did suggest I try ordering from Zappos where I'd get free shipping and return shipment if the shoes didn't work out. I'm happy to say the process was super easy & I received my shoes within a week. Bottom line I love the shoes & the ease of ordering them online from Zappos.
