Really impressed with these shoes - very cute and sooo comfortable -- right from the first moment I put them on!

These boots are so comfortable! It is really difficult for me to find any shoe, let alone a boot, that is comfortable. These were definitely spendy for me, but I splurged and made it a Christmas present to me! I wear a size 7 and my boots are the 6.5-7 size. I have been wearing thin socks with them and my feet definitely "move around" in them. But, the upside is that this boot will allow you to wear thicker warmer socks. I like the rounded toe and the roomy toe box. The black nubeck (or buck) shows up soil and spots. You will definitely want a suede/nubuck shoe care kit. And these are soooo cool looking! Every other boot I have seen women wearing are the same, the pointy toe elfin-look! Fun to have a boot that is very different.

The shoes I pick first when I get dressed in the morning! I have another pair of Danskos (the Mary Jane ones, same foot bed as these) and they're so so comfortable! They have a little lift and a whole lot of padding. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis in one foot and after months of wearing a boot, these are actually helping and oh so comfy. A super stylish colleague actually said they were cute and totally on-trend before realizing my black booties came from the "comfort" section! Well worth the investment!

I love these little boots! I struggle with plantar fasciitis and teach in a school with concrete floors. Excellent arch support is a must for me and these boots deliver. I can wear them all day teaching without any pain or stiffness the next day. I was worried a little about the wedge-like heel, but it's wide enough for easy balancing. They look great with jeans and dresses with tights. All in all, they are a good boot.

GREAT cute boot for winter! Very comfortable from the first day I wore them. They are a bit wider than most bootie-type boots, which I needed. They are a perfect fit. I wear 8 and ordered 8 which was true to size. I have gotten many compliments on them so far. They do get dirty quickly as they are a suede finish, but I dont mind, they are shoes.

They may be a little more pricey then other booties, but they are worth it. You really can't go wrong with Dansko.

I needed a go to black booty and was hoping this would become a staple. Unfortunately I don't really like the look. I have fairly narrow feet and they fit pretty wide on me. Like all my Danskos they are very comfortable, great when I have long days on my feet. But I really don't like the style as much as I thought I would, especially with skirts and leggings.

These are the most comfortable boots--right out of the box! And so cute. I love them! Kudos to Dansko for designing a comfie, smart-looking bootie!

Staying true to the Dansko brand they have a slightly wider toe box which gives them a little more of a causal feel, but they aren't as chunky as the Dansko clogs. The rubber sole really seems to provide support but also has some give, so when I walk there is a little bit of a shock absorption bounce/flex to the shoe which helps add to the comfort. They look great with jeans.

I love thee boots.... they didn't require any break in time. I ordered the 39 and I usually wear an 8.5. The heel height is perfect, just enough for a little lift. I ordered the khaki. I thought from the photo that they would be more of a dark green-grey color, but they are more like a grayish with a green tone to them. But the color really does go with a lot of things. I also have a bunion and they work fine on my foot. I think they will wear well too. I really like the support they have.

I love the look of these. I love that I can wear them to work or casually....but, they rub terribly on my ankle bones. I can barely make it through an 8 hour shift. I'm hoping that this part will soften over time because I love these but the rubbing is unbearable.

Truthfully, these are the most comfortable booties I have ever bought (and I have tried many!). The fit is perfect, and they are extremely comfortable. First, there is quite a bit of "give" in the heel. The heel material is not hard, like in most boots, but somewhat flexible, so your feet don't absorb the full impact of your hitting the ground. Second, the leather is soft. so when the upper edge rubs against your skin, it doesn't end up becoming painful (as was the case with the Clark booties I got and returned). Third, the insole is slightly and wonderfully cushioned, so your feel don't get tired after wearing them all day. As other Dansko prducts, this is high quality, and well made. My only complaint is that they don't have more color choices. Soft, flexible, and bouncy --My favorite combo!

Runs small. I normally wear a 9.5, and I could barely get the 40 (9.5-10) on my foot. The 41 is much better.

I received the Dansko Lucille in khaki today. They felt WONDERFUL, as all my Danskos do! I did a lot of checking around online and upon receiving my shoes, I have to agree with one review that I read in that the khaki color is more of an olive shade than khaki. I had seen one image of the shoes that was darker than all of the others and had assumed that color was incorrect; but I realized that it was all of the other sand-colored images that had been wrong and only the one was correct. I do like the color though. It's darker than I was expecting. The Nubuck leather uppers have a great feel that is as smooth as butter. I like the extra height the heels provide. My only complaint is that there is a slight squeak when I walk, not a deal-breaker, but slightly noticeable. But for the cuteness and the comfort, I can live with it! I'm considering ordering the black pair even though I already have two other black pairs of Dansko boots!

I love the look of these shoes. They have a beautiful Nubuck finish and were the perfect heighth. Sadly, the shoes were just too narrow across the top for my foot. Additionally, they squeaked! I am returning.

Awesome boots! I love them! They fit great and are very comfortable! They look great with leggings or boyfriend jeans!

Kaiki color is not as it is pictured on the site. The actual color is a darker kaiki with a grey tone. Same shoe call "Lee" shows the true color. Wonderful Shoe... I'm getting Two! Really healthy and cute with skirts and pants. The Lee may look sleeker with skirts, but the tie ups are cute too and helps me adjust the fit, as I have skinny/thin feet. Agan, very healthy.

I bought these booties to wear on vacation in Japan this month and I can't say enough about cute and comfortable they were! I wear a US size 6.5 wide and the size 38 fit me perfectly with mid-weight socks. I walked 6 - 7 miles each day over streets, garden paths, up and down stairs in train stations and these Dansko Lucilles performed perfectly! I love that it gave me a little height with its wedge heel and the toe box was roomy enough for my wide feet (and the slight bunion on my right big toe). I wore them with skinny pants and leggings and they looked great. The suede finish is also Scotch-guarded, so even after a somewhat rainy and muddy day the booties cleaned right off. I am so very happy that I found these booties - I highly recommend them!

I have always been a fan of Dansko's for work. Recently their styles have been catching my eye for shoes that can go from work to weekend really well. The Lucille is comfortable and stylish. I am right in-between and 40 and 41, I ordered both and ended up going with the 40, it may mean I can't wear my thickest winter socks, but after wearing them for a day it was the right call. Little to no break-in needed- comfortable from day one as well as stylish.

I am SO glad to have found comfortable and stylish ankle boots! I have wide feet and moderate to severe plantar fasciitis and thought I would never wear another pair of shoes again without my inserts (or my Birkenstock sandals...not helpful during winter time!) These shoes were comfortable from the first wear and have been ever since. I'm a little concerned about how the suede will hold up through weather over time, but the comfort is by far the best part. Great shock absorption in the sole and heel as well. So glad I shelled out the money on Danskos, now I see what all the hype is about!

It ran large comparing to other danskos. I also thought that they were somewhat plain.nIt rubbed my ankle bones.

Incredibly comfortable right out of the box for all day wear! I receive multiple compliments on how cute they are.

Not as comfortable as I'd like or expect from Danskos, scuff a ton. Really disappointing considering the cost. I returned them.

this shoe is so so comfortable from the version I purchased 2 years ago. they do not squeak and the bottom heel allows stable walking base perfect height for leggings or whatever stylish to boot. love these
