We bought these for my eight year old who loves to skateboard. His canvas Vans were wearing out too quickly, but the leather toe space on these is holding up great so far. He appreciates the bit of extra ankle protection when doing tricks. He has very narrow feet, but gets a great fit by pulling the straps tight.

I read the reviews, so I bought them 2 sizes bigger. So, they're 2 sizes too big. But he'll grow into them. They're super cute.

My daughter is five and needed school shoes that she could easily take on and off without help. We couldn't be happier with these! I would say Vans kids fit slightly small. We started out with the slip-on style Vans in her true size (13), but they were impossible for her to get on and off, and she slipped right out of the larger size. We tried these one size up from her true size (1) and they fit well with room to grow. They are a bit on the wide side and my daughter has narrow feet, but that hasn't been a problem. They have a slight cushion and a little arch support--not as much as the Puma's we bought her, but decent. She appreciates that these shoes are not too warm, which was her complaint with other suede sneakers. Of course, she's also super excited to wear these skateboarding!!

Fabulous pair of shoes! My son couldn't be happier. He's got this quirk that drives him bat crazy when the back of a shoe doesn't support his ankle high enough. These shoes helped tremendously to nip that quirk in the bud. So very pleased, may have to get another pair in a different color.

I love em. Unfortunately my kid says they aren't the most comfortable. He looks good though and if he wants to live he'll wear em! Ha!

My grandsons love Vans. His last pair was slip ons with Velcro expander. These mid tops with Velcro are too hard for 6 year old to get on. He has a wider foot, so that’s the problem. Cute shoes, wish they came in wide.

These were my sons favorite shoes. He said they were comfy but the wore out too quickly. The tongue would always slide to the side which made it look messy.

These are cute and go perfectly with my sons uniform, but he finds them very uncomfortable to wear all day and usually opts for another pair of shoes.

My son loved these right out of the box. Just like dad's! He's worn em quite a few times and unfortunately has gotten a blister on each heal from rubbing. Bandaid and all better.

Runs a bit small in my opinion but otherwise they’re great! My 3 year old loves them and always ask to wear them over all his other shoes!
