Runs small - ordered up a size and still rubbed my big toes. Very disappointing because I like the way they look. Had to return.

Nice looking shoe but it wound up cutting the back of my ankle to the point where I could not wear any shoes except my Birkenstocks. really disappointed and am out a nice amount of dollars as I can't return since they were worn albeit only once.

Heel slipped right out of these. I did not see this as an issue in other reviews. I tried two different sock styles to see if that was the problem, but unfortunately, it was not. Returned for Ugg’s sneaker.

The shoe size was longer than the exact same shoe (except color) that I purchased a few years ago. I noticed that the first shoes were made in Slovakia whereas this pair was made in Indonesia, but not sure if that makes a difference.

These shoes look snazzy, and I thought they'd be great for knocking about without looking dumpy. Problem is, something about the sole, or arch sent the soles of my feet into spasms after only half an hour in the house. So I tried again the next day. That time I couldn't get my foot into the shoe (the ol' point-your-toe thing) without triggering a spasm. Seems it's the cut of the shoe and my particular finicky feet. Another thing: These shoes are lined with slippery leather. Some people like that. For me, it means my feet (with socks, probably without them, too) slide all over the place. I hate that. When something's not for you, everything seems to go wonky...

I WAS an Ecco Soft 7 loyalist until they disappointingly took away the very reason one would pay full price for this shoe, the cushion. My old ones are more generously cushioned at the ball of the foot....this is the second time I’ve ordered and they both go back. This is nothing more than an overpriced fashion sneaker and not even worth the half price I paid. Ecco, did you think your loyalists wouldn’t notice you cut costs to gouge the customer? Bye bye Soft 7.

Unfortunately, I have to return these ECCOs. While Zappos graciously and efficiently allowed me to exchange the initial purchase for a size smaller, and the replacement size worked, the construction of the shoes did not. As others have mentioned, the tongue of the right shoe was improperly cut and/or attached so it buckled and the seam at the base of the big toe dug into my foot. The insoles of both shoes was oddly shaped and uncomfortable even while seated. It's disappointing, because I liked the look of these Soft 7 Sneakers and have had good luck with previous ECCO purchases, both sandals and shoes.

Loved the color but the shoes gave me blisters on both feet. Probably not going to ever wear again but Zappos doesn’t exchange for uncomfortable fit. Have to try another brand and likely from Nordstrom where they allow exchanges.

I love the Ecco shoes I have... that is, until I got this pair :( I love the style, the color, but they feel horrible on. These were about $50 less than other colors in this style, so I thought I'd save the xtra $$ because I liked the color. Ummmm, I think they must have mixed in an inferior shoe along with the good ones???? Anyway, don't buy the ones that are $122 (still expensive) but much less than the other colors. Soooo disappointed because Ecco are about the only shoes that don't make me constanly aware of my feet when I'm walking.

I love Ecco's leather. Super soft, and as someone who has wide feet, this brand is usually my go to. I thought these shoes would be perfect. The width and softness of this shoe is perfect. But my heel is normal (not wide or narrow) and in this shoe it kept slipping out. It's a shame. I really wanted to like the shoe.

Heel slips. With cream laces contrasting the warm gray, and the toe cap, looks a bit like a bowling shoe.

I have worn Ecco shoes for over 20 years, this was the first pair of sneakers I purchased. I was excited at first, I love the look and the fit was similar to some of their dress shoes. After a week the excitement wore off. The laces in the shoes don't really move and it is difficult to get the right fit. The comfort is definitely lacking, there is a thin insole, but not much support or cushion. In my opinion, they are definitely not worth the money.

I was very disappointed with the fit of this shoe. While out shopping I had tried on the shoe in a different color and smaller size and it seemed to be a good fit. I have large feet and a bunion so finding shoes to fit is a challenge. The seams of the shoe rubbed the bunion making it very uncomfortable to wear, so back they go. ECCO seems to have changed their design to a smaller toe box the past couple of years. I purchased a pair of Yucatan sandals that took over a year to stretch out enough to wear comfortably. I love the arch support ECCO provides but will be very cautious about purchasing another pair.

Shoe was very comfortable walking around my house. Took them on vacation and could only wear them for a few hours, blisters all over my feet. Very disappointing. Had to buy another pair of walking shoes in London New Balance. A complete waste of money!

Great arch support but not a good fit for me. Will return. They are cute and stylish however, the 9-91/2 was too wide in the heel. the sneaker was a a bit to narrow to be totally comfortable. Returning

I love Ecco and probably own about 30 pairs! I wanted to love these too but they were just uncomfortable near the top of the lace area. Because the laces are so thick and wide and of a heavy material, they just dug into my foot. Too bad as they look great.

Since this show was sized 8.0-8.5 and 9.0-9.5 I ordered both pairs knowing I would have to return one of them. Well, I returned both. The 8.0-8.5 was too small. I usually wear a 8.5 shoe and some sneakers I have 9.0 since I wear heavier socks in them. So I thought the 9.0-9.5 would fit. Length wise it did fit but was tight in the width. The shoe laces in the larger pair were at least double the size of the one in the smaller pair. I could not have worn them if they had fit because of the long, long laces. I returned both pairs!

Look a bit latex-like in person. I also found the heel rather wide and a tad shallow. Comparatively the front of the shoe was narrow for a supposedly wide cut. Overall not comfortable.

These shoes fit small or short in length- not a true 43 but more like a 41-42 Euro size; width is satisfactory.
