I normally wear a 7 or 71/2 and these were very long in the toe. This made the toe cap seams press into my foot uncomfortably when I walked. The heel was also very low and felt like it would've given me a bad blister after a short time. Materials were very luxe, however fit was way too uncomfortable , esp. at that price.

I am disappointed that the lining is NOT leather! All the shoes used to have leather linings, so I purposely chose this one because it states LEATHER LINING. But it is not. It is fabric. Too bad. My previous Ecco sneakers from 4 years ago did have leather lining and is much better. Everything else is okay.

I like Eccos and this is just the style I was looking for. Eccos are built with excellent arch support, which distributes your weight in a very comfortable way. I was unpleasantly surprised to find the stitching on one shoe causing ripples on the upper. I guess I'll keep them but I didn't think that I would find this in an expensive shoe.

Great customer service, as always. Thank you Zappos! The fit was perfect and the shoe feels well made. Unfortunately I'm returning it because the white isn't as bright and crisp as it looks in all the photos. Color is much darker, more of a very light beige. Plus I prefer a more minimal one-piece toe cap for this sneaker style, without the additional seam on top. This is only vaguely visible in the photos.

I don't know why they would call this "soft sneaker"; the material is stiff and doesn't stretch and the leather laces make it hard to adjust the shoe to try on. I could barely get my foot into the shoe. However, once I did put the shoe on, it felt unfinished inside, I could feel the seams, and the shoe felt prickly on my foot. Additionally, there is a huge seam where my big toe meets the foot, so every step is painful. I had sized up because I am usually an 8.5-9, so I went 9-9.5 and there is no way this is a size 9 or higher.

I bought these to replace an older pair of ECCO Soft 7 sneakers in the "same" style. The new ones were not made from soft leather, and felt stiff. The color was also off and the laces were stiff. Not at all like the ones I've had for years. Too bad, they are my favorite sneakers. Well keep looking.

I got two pairs of these Ecco Soft 7 sneaker in white.
The second pair I ordered a day later to use my credit from Zappos which I was not able to use with the first pair. When I got both shoes first thing I've noticed not original boxes. First pair had scuff marks, soles with feet imprint in them etc. I thought, it is good that I got a second pair while it was still on sale. The second pair had a strange rubber inserts and no original sole that comes with this shoes. The inserts were sticky and I assume left the stains inside the shoes. I've decided to try them on anyways and felt pain from an internal stitch in the right shoe. Also both pairs are stiff, not like my first pair which was comfortable from the first try. I am not sure what to think now. It does not seem like they real Ecco's.
The shoes were on sale, but it was not mentioned anywhere the condition of these shoes. Very disappointed.
Was unable to upload pictures. Will forward them to Zappos directly.

i bought this shoe 2 years ago , the quality has plummeted. The shoe is hard, the leather stiff, and is very snug. My original pair was roomy and butter soft. This is very disappointing as they were my go to shoes. ECCO, you have lost my respect and business!

The ECCO Soft was actually super stiff and I'm returning them because the tongue of the right shoe bulged out on one side at the bottom and rubbed my toe terribly. Maybe it's just something wrong with the sewing on this pair but I won't order a replacement since they're so stiff.

Something really weird is going on with the toe box -- like there's a strip of cardboard going across the top of the shoe. I thought there might be packaging material stuck in the shoe, but no.

So cute, but so small. My other ECCO shoes in the same size fit perfectly. These were so much smaller in length, width, and even the height of the toe box. I’m returning these and will try a size larger.

My toes were jammed up against the top of the shoes, and the leather is very still. I'm returning the shoes as it is very painful. I was super surprised - I actually triple-checked thinking that perhaps the wrong size/width had been sent, but sadly no.

I have worn Ecco shoes (golf & street styles) for 15 years. This is the first pair EVER to be uncomfortable & inflexible. Very stiff fit, blister (with socks) on little toe area, after 3 wearings. Beautiful style, great color, but not the quality I am accustomed to from Ecco. The shoe has to be comfortable to keep. Sorry

I'd describe these as super shallow in the toe with a wide heal. My first attempt to put them on brought serious pain to a toe from being scraped by the sharp, stiff leather inside that tight toe box. With the top insole removed, there's more room for the toes, but then my heel is constantly slipping up and down. Just no way to make both ends fit.

These shoes were mis-sized. I tried on the identical shoe at an Ecco store and their 40 was too big (i.e. long). The 40 you shipped me was too short.

I had high hopes for these shoes, but sadly they are going back. The fit was fine (size 11), but they are so deeply uncomfortable. The leather is incredibly stiff to the point that it felt like plastic made to look like leather. Just trying them on and taking a few steps, they were already poking into parts of my ankles as there was absolutely no give. Plus the insoles are really hard. Like the other pair of ecco shoes I have, there are two insoles inside. The shoes don't fit with both of them in, but when you remove the extra pair, the shoes are uncomfortable. For how expensive these are, I was expecting so much more.
