So far really like this hiking boot! Have loved the other shoes and that's why I decided to send the money on a hiking boot. Hoka one one makes a great product!!!

I had the high top version of this shoe for winter and loved them so decided to try the lower version. These are great shoes. I walk six miles every day and no break-in period was necessary. I purchased a size 8-1/2 in the high top version because of wearing heavier socks in the winter. Size 8 worked for summer use and lighter weight socks. I would say these shoes are true to size.

I tried these after the Hoka One One Mafate 4 didn't work out for me. The Tor Summit WP are much closer to size...while the Mafate 4 ran big and wide. I was disappointed again with this shoe though...and have come to the realization that as much as I want to wear these shoes for the thick soles...I can't because they make my feet turn in weird ways. For this shoe my foot wanted to turn inward and it did not feel right. The Mafate 4 made my foot turn outward. Please Hoko One One...make a shoe just like this one but that is for completely neutral walker/runner/hiker.

I first discovered Hoka's when I was dealing with plantar fasciitis and have loved them ever since. I have several pairs. I bought these shoes because I wanted a waterproof outdoor shoe. They are great not only for hiking but I wear them for every day activities. These were the only shoes I took on a trip to Ireland and I wore them everywhere. I originally purchased a size 7.5 but they felt too big so returned them for a size 7. I have narrow feet but I wear thick socks and the fit is great. The toe box is roomy so my toes do not feel cramped. I have gotten these shoes quite dirty but they easily clean up with water and a rag.

Love, love, love these. My podiat isn't recommended the Hoka brand because I have a lot of foot pain. I didn't even wear these in before my first hike. Highly recommend.

This shoe is truly amazing for me. It's like walking on pillows! I have hiked in Lowhas and mostly Merrells and this shoe is magical. I regularly exercise by walking 3-5 miles on dirt or asphalt, and occasionally sidewalks with no foot, knee or hip fatigue. I feel like I could walk many more miles and would, if only I had the time. I have even switched my sneakers to the Hoka One One brand. I had no idea I would feel this way. I bought the shoes on a lark, knowing nothing about them. How can you go wrong with a shoe that has a 30 day money back guarantee, with no questions asked! BTW I wear them with orthotics.
I'd also recommend:
only Hokas!

I have terrible foot problems. I have tried about a dozen different walking shoes. These shoes are the only ones that have given me hope to be able to hike again. They are light, comfortable and very supportive.

Because of foot problems, I only wear Hoka. This shoe is perfect for winter--warm, good traction, looks nice with all my pants and jeans.

I was looking for a replacement for my MBT's that I wear as an everyday shoe. I was impressed with how light and comfortable the Hoka shoes are. I now have the high top version for when I need boots and use the Tor Summit's as my everyday shoe.

I love the lightweight Hoka trail shoes for hiking. I like to move quickly and feel the trail, so a trail runner is better than a hiking boot. I like the Mafate slightly better on the trail, especially on descents, but the grip on the TOR summit is exceptional. I'm not sure about the waterproof aspect - I've never worn waterproof shoes and these seemed to get just as soaked in a rainy hike as any other shoe. Not an issue for me though.

I need the extra insole that Hoka provides with some run shoes to make the size fit my feet perfectly. I run in Hokas and decided to give this hiker a try - its very attractive with jeans, (or with fun knee socks and short?), is weatherproof and lightweight. Exactly what I need!

Roomy in the heel for some odd reason as others have mentioned. I am a true 6.5W and I usually size up to 7. Wish there was a 6.5 in stock as that would’ve hugged my foot better. It does rub across the widest part of the toes after many hours of wear, but overall, good sole and arch comfort.

So wanted to love these shoes. Have another pair of Hoka One's and love them. Problem was my heel slipped in these - with or with out inserts. Had to return them.

These shoes felt tru to size and width. They were fairly comfortable but I experienced some instability with the outside rear of the sole. I know that’s an issue for me so I returned.

I was looking for a four season sturdy shoe that would be comfortable and water resistant for extensive dirt road and woods walking, hiking, golfing, and more. Most of all I needed a shoe that would relieve my planter fasciitis, be stable, comfortable, and water proof as I walk through woods, brush, fields, mud, three times a day. These shoes are it! They do run larger than size, even with orthotics and thick socks. I would suggest ordering 1/2 size smaller. They are also wide, presumably to fit thick socks? So try them on and walk inside when you get them. Wish I had done so right away but was not able to. These are quiet simply the all around shoes unless you are running or it's very hot out. Work well on ice and snow this winter so far as well.

I want you to make narrow shoes. My foot is extremely narrow and the shoe rubs up and down on my heel, I just wear extra heavy socks and it works ok

I have had Tor Summit for 2 years now. Suffering from plantar fasciitis and Morton neuroma in 1 foot, I have tried to switch out to a lighter weight shoe but just can't do it. These are on the heavy side but comfortable and have taken me thru the Tetons, Yellowstone, Banff and Jasper, Maine, Oregon, Washington and more. Decent waterproofing. Awesome grippy sole thru all sorts of weather. No slipping and sliding with these

I love these shoes except I originally ordered Size 7.5 and had to go a half size down, and they're still a bit too loose in the length. I think another half size down would be too tight so I'm going to put tongue pads in them to see if that helps. I think the major problem is in the design. My Hoka One One Bondi 6 shoes have an extra hole to pull the laces tighter whereas these do not. However, the shoes are very comfortable, supportive and waterproof which is essential in the Winter. I was having back pain in my old hiking boots, so I ordered these and no pain! Next time I will get the boots as I'm sure I'll be able to lace them tighter.

Wearing on pavement as well as trail, so comfortable I forgot I had them on. I had to go down a half size, run slightly large and a bit on the wide size.

I usually take a size 9 in boots but because of the wide toe box an 8.5 fit just fine. The waterproofing may may it a bit hot for summer in the southern U.S, so this is a seasonal boot for me.

I love Tor Summit MID WP. I have had two pair and purchased a third. Every one of the pairs have changed color from gray/blue to dirty gray/sand over time. I don't know why this is happening so am just cautioning buyers that if buy the blue/gray Tor Summits expect them to change to a dirty looking gray sand within a short time.
