This would be a great shoe if it fit properly. Since you only offer it in Medium width and the fit is smaller than medium, I would suggest that Hoka make a change in their sizing.

Hoka is amazing for comfort and running. I wear them every single morning on our walk/run. We are also avid hikers and I thought I would give these a try. Southern az is an extreme when it comes to rocky terrain. The soles on these shoes are just too tall for hiking. I will have to stick with my Lowa's for that. However we still own 4 pair of Hoka's. Keep up the awesomeness!!!

This shoe looks much better in the online photo than the actual shoe. They used a phony leather synthetic material that does not match the color of the leather. The photo online makes it look almost like a full leather upper, it is not. I really enjoy the cushioning in Hoka One One shoes, but I probably will not buy another pair for casual use because the shoes are ugly and cheap looking. At the price, this should have been a full leather upper, they doctored the photo to give the shoe a better appearance than the actual shoe. Don't be fooled.

I like Hokas, I have five now, mostly trail shoes. I got into it because I have chronic back problems so I decided to buy the brown one for work to look less like a sneaker. Sadly the color is not as nice as in the picture. It is a dull brown and so are the soles. The picture looks 'brighter' and a lighter brown, almost dark tan. The one I received is dull and not as vibrant. Otherwise, it is a Hoka. Still a good product, soft, helps my back but if you are buying because of color, don't expect it to be the same as what you see on your screens.

Bought these for wearing in Alaska, mostly in shoulder seasons May/June, September/October. The construction held up fine, and they were comfortable, but when I wear in wet weather there is NO waterproofing that I can detect. They are absolutely soaking wet and heavy. It takes several days to dry them out. Very disappointing!!

Attractive shoe, good fit, Unfortunately sole fell apart after just one year ... unacceptable for a $160.00 shoe!!!

How I wanted to love these shoes...but the very tight width and short toe box caused such big toe pain, I had to return them.

I really liked this shoe at first, it was instantly comfortable and very shock absorbing. Unfortunately, around the middle to end of week two I developed blustering/raw spots on my little toes.

Tried these shoes out at work. While my heels felt fine, my toes started to get sore after a few hours. The Tor Summits feel way too stiff and uncomfortable even after only 5-6 hours on the job. I do not recommend these if you are going to be on your feet for prolonged periods. Had high hopes for this "plush" pair. Sadly disappointed.

I use them everywhere. Very comfortable . Poor quality 4 months old and the sole is falling off.

Based on description at Hoka site I expected something better. The site says "active foot frame stability". The shoe twists when I step on the edges of stairs. The shoe bends at the arch rather than at the ball of the foot. Stiffness at the ball of the foot causes the heel to lift. I tried tighter lacing, but that just makes the top of the foot sore. Had these on for 15 minutes and heels already starting to blister. A shoe claiming "frame stability" ought to bend at the ball of the foot and have some torsional stability from the ball of the foot back to the heel. Nothing like that here. Style, no content.

I tried e mailing customer service to see if they could do anything about it and I got no response back? I have a hard time spending what you are asking for a shoe that doesn't last. I have several pairs of HOKA's and love the comfort but the durability is lacking. Especially with the leather work shoe style, I couldn't believe they started falling apart with in months? Im also disappointed that you don't make a size 15 in mens in a very limited slect styles of shoes. I would love to try a pair of the high top boot style but they dont come any bigger that a 14?

Very soft ride and highly padded as advertised, but very narrow footbed and instep. I usually wear an 8.5M Hoka One One Bondi 5, and this 9M was too narrow.

I have owned 12 pairs of Hokas - a variety of styles. I have had the Tor's before as well. I wore this new pair for the first time today and could barely make it home after a 5 mile hike... my toes were on fire. These shoes do not feel nearly as cush as previous model. And I believe the toebox is very compressed.

After 6 hikes the stitching on the inner side and outer side of the boots gave way, opening the seams. Perhaps Hoku should stick to running shoes or beef up their quality of their boot line. A friend complained of the poor stitching material on his boots too. He attempted to fix the problem by applying seam sealer to his seam stitching, which was partially successful in stopping the opening seams from opening further.

These fell apart in only a few months into a global trip. Replaced some great Vasques with these. Big mistake. It's really a cheap speaker, and way overpriced.
I'd also recommend:
Vasque, Scarpa

When I first put them on they feel comfortable but after about 20 minutes of wearing them, my toes ache like no other shoe I own. I do not have a history or current foot pain condition. It is definitely associated with the shoe.

I have plantar fasciitis and I've been using and loving the Hoka tennis shoes for their comfort and pain reducing for my feet. I bought this pair to get a pair that I could use as a "business casual" shoe that I could wear to work. However, these shoes are very farm and hard compared to the other pairs of Hokas I have. In fact, they do not feel much softer than my old dress shoes.

Sent these back because the fit seemed off. Stiff leather uppers mean a longer breakin and I did not feel the fit would work for me.

I was ordering a size larger than normal, but these were still too small. The toe box is pretty narrow.

I bought these in late August, and by mid-December they'd fallen apart! Needless to say, I'm pretty ticked off about that, because at nearly $180/pair, that should not happen so quickly. You may be sure that someone will be hearing about this!

The tread separated from the sole on both shoes. I had them less than 10 months. Very disappointed that a very comfortable shoe fell apart so quickly.

Initially I was very pleased with these shoes. They are the first Hokas I've used, and they make walking on my case of metatarsalgia much more comfortable. They provide great support and keep out moisture reasonably well. The bad news is, they came apart within three months, the sole separating from the upper. They seem to be made with a material that doesn't glue well. Thinking the pair I had was defective, I contacted Zappos in July, and they offered a full refund and a second pair at a nice discount. I'm using those now, and unfortunately, they're coming apart in the same way. I've resorted to sticking them back together with Goop, and that lasts a couple of weeks before they come apart again. If these had been cheap shoes, I might have expected this, but $160 is the most I've ever paid for this kind of shoe, and they haven't lived up to it.
